ROH Video Wire - 2 Weeks Until The Era of Honor Begins:
We see Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards at the Team Ambition gym in St. Louis, MO. They're sitting on the apron of the ring after a training session. The camera zooms in on Davey.
Davey Richards: "You know, this show coming up is a big deal. The Era of Honor Begins...it's a nice name. You see, the word 'honor' means something to Davey Richards, it means something to Eddie Edwards. I'd even go as far to say it means something to Adam Cole and El Generico. We're men of honor, and we're coming to show the world what Ring of Honor is all about."
Eddie Edwards: "The thing is there's history all up and down this match. Kevin Steen, you broke my elbow. Roderick Strong, we've fought each other all over the country...and the same goes for you, Elgin. Kyle, see there was a time where you tried to, and for a while did drive a wedge between the American Wolves. That wedge has been closed, and as you can see the Wolves are back together, and we're comin' after you."
Davey Richards: "See but it's not just us who have history with you guys. Adam Cole does and so does Generico. This match is billed as an All Star Showcase, and make no mistake about it--it is. But to the American Wolves, this is a fight, this is a war and the hunt's on."
A compilation of clips from ECW are shown, focusing on Rhino and Steve Corino as part of the Network. We go to Rhino in a parking lot in Detroit.
Rhino: "Steve Corino, in two weeks time it's me and you in an Extreme Showcase for Ring of Honor. I don't think I need to tell you what to expect because you already know. Steve, I'm going to break you. I'm going to leave you laying in a pool of your own p--s, blood and s--t! I'm going to drop you on your head with a piledriver and when it's all said and done I'm gonna cut you in half with a GORE! GORE! GORE!"
Jimmy Jacobs is shown sitting in his basement in a white suit. He turns to face the camera and smiles.
Jimmy Jacobs: "Homicide, we're going to meet at The Era of Honor Begins. And it's funny you call yourself Homicide...it's funny because I've always said that I'd die in the ring to entertain the people. It's funny because it's a name you believe it, and it's funny because you think that name intimidates your opponents. I'm not intimidated, in fact it's quite the opposite. I'm looking forward to our match. I'm going to take everything you have, and keep getting back up. I am the Zombie Princess, after all, aren't I? See you in Philly."

ROH Video Wire - 1 Week until Era of Honor Begins:
Truth Martini is shown standing in front of an ROH background with Michael Elgin and Roderick Strong. The camera focuses in on Truth.
Truth Martini: "The Era...of Honor...Begins. What a name for a show, and what a main event. Kevin Steen and Kyle O'Reilly, you have the honor, and the privilege of teaming with the most cohesive unit in all of professional wrestling: The H-O-T. This is indeed a big night for Ring of Honor and for the House of Truth, but it's a big night for our opponents as well."
Roderick Strong: "Let's take a look at who we have here. El Generico? I'm sorry, I don't mess with pale losers who wear masks and never get laid. Adam Cole? You should probably go back to high school before you get hurt, little guy. Then there's Eddie Edwards. You said we've wrestled each other all over the country. Well...it's more like I've kicked your ass all over the country, isn't it Eddie?
And then...there's Davey Richards. The American Wolf. You say the hunt is on Davey, but the Hunt was on when I knocked you senseless and gave you a concussion. The hunt was on when I beat you in the Manhattan Center. The Hunt was on, but Davey...you just couldn't beat me. And you're not gonna beat me at the Era of Honor Begins."
Michael Elgin: "Davey, Eddie, Generico and Cole...you're gonna find out that when they said God created all men equal....THEY WERE WRONG!"
We cut from the House of Truth to a chicken farm in Sandy Fort, Delaware. The camera turns to show Jay Briscoe, Mark Briscoe and Uncle Jethro standing in front of a truck in the backyard.
Jay Briscoe: "So here we are, one week to go baby. Era of Honor Begins. What we got here, is a little tag tournament...and it's gon' crown the first ever ROH Tag Team Champions. Shit, I didn't know we needed a tournament! You got the baddest tag team on the planet right here! Look at everybody in this tournament, ain't a team we ain't already beat. Haas and Benjamin, the Young Bucks, American Wolves, ANX.."
Mark Briscoe: "Uh, that ain't the ANX we beat."
Jay Briscoe: "The hell you mean it ain't? It's Rhett Titus and that little bitch.."
Mark Briscoe: "Don't say it! Rhett got him a new partner!"
Jay Briscoe: "What you tryin' to say, chicken?"
Jethro: "HE'S TRYIN' TO SAY THAT GUY AIN'T GOT THE SAME PARTNER."
Jay stares at Jethro, then back at the camera.
Jay Briscoe: "My point stands. We done beat y'all boys. Ain't no need for a tournament, but we're gonna show up and we gon' whoop Quackenbush and Jigsaw's ass. Then whoever's next, we're gonna whoop your ass, and whoever else's ass needs to be whooped so we become the Tag Team Champions!"
Jethro: "SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUEY"
A video plays recapping the El Generico vs. Kevin Steen rivalry. Kevin Steen is shown standing in front of the ROH logo with Corino and Jacobs in the background.
Kevin Steen: "There's a lot of people excited, and there's a lot of people happy about this show next week. The Era of Honor Begins...good name. What it should be called is Steen F--king Kills Generico, because that's what I'm going to do. I don't care about the Jiu Jitsu Jackoff, I don't care about Die Hard and I would never do anything to hurt you, Adam Cole. You have to be by far the prettiest man I have ever seen, I mean when you look at me..."
Corino: "Uh, Kevin...the match with Generico."
Kevin Steen: "Oh, yeah. Sorry, stuck in PWG commentary mode for a second there. Generico, we've done this before. A million times, every kind of match possible but it ends with the start of this new promotion. I'm going to take your mask off, I'm gonna rip your f--king face off, and I'm going to break your f--king neck because I am Kevin Steen...and I am an Evil Person. See you in Philadelphia, bitch!"

Card #1: "The Era of Honor Begins"; Philadelphia, PA:
The theme song of Rhett Titus and Willie Mack played as they made their way to the ring for the opening match. However, just as they approached the ring, El Generico ran from the back to the ring and took the microphone from announcer Bobby Cruise. Generico said, "STEEN! NOW!" The crowd erupted as ANX walked to the back and Generico continued to pace. After a few moments, Generico repeated his demand, which brought out Steve Corino. Corino said that Kevin Steen is not falling for the same thing he did in Toronto a while ago and that Generico would have to wait. Steen rushed past Corino and attacked Generico, and we had an impromptu opening match!
1.) Kevin Steen beat El Generico - This was a heated brawl from the start, in fact the majority of this match was fought on the outside of the ring. Steen's S.C.U.M. allies watched from the ramp as Generico nearly bested his former friend with a Brainbuster. But in the end, Jimmy Jacobs would provide the distraction leading to a Package Piledriver at 12:04. [***]
2.) Jay Lethal beat Mike Bennett with Brutal Bob and Maria - Lethal is out to prove that he's a man to be feared in the upcoming Survival of the Fittest tournament, and did just that as he made quick work of the Prodigy. Both men shook hands at the start of the match, however Bennett attempted to gain the upper hand on Lethal, albeit unsuccessfully. Lethal quickly rebounded and beat Bennett with the Lethal Injection at 6:51. [*3/4]
3.) Women of Honor: Sara del Rey beat Daizee Haze - In the same vein as the last match, the Queen of Wrestling made quick work of her opponent. She took the fight to Haze and did not let up, winning via the Royal Butterfly at 6:11. [**]
4.) Extreme Rules Showcase: Rhino beat Steve Corino - Every bit as violent as you would expect, both men drew blood in a match that included tables, chairs, and even a barbed wire baseball bat. Corino's S.C.U.M. ally, Jimmy Jacobs, attempted to intervene. This intrusion was short lived as Rhino would put Jacobs through a table with the Gore. This distraction temporarily gave Corino the upper hand, but Rhino quickly took back over and hit Corino with a Gore to get the victory at 14:18. [***1/4]
[POST MATCH] Jacobs attacked Rhino and attempted to use the railroad spike. The lights went out, and "The Truth" by Beanie Siegel hit. Homicide made his way to the ring, leading to...
5.) Homicide beat Jimmy Jacobs - Homicide attempted to send a message to his Survival of the Fittest opponent, Kevin Steen, by dominating Steen's right hand man. This was not as easy as it may have seemed on paper, as Jacobs controlled a lot of the match until an attempted dive to the outside went horribly wrong, giving Homicide the upper hand. Homicide scored the win at 9:15 with the Cop Killer. [**3/4]
[INTERMISSION] Can Generico Continue?: In the locker room, Generico is laying unconscious. Doctors are tending to him and when they notice the cameraman, they rush him out of the room and tell him they cannot allow him to record this. Can El Generico continue?!
6.) Ring of Honor Tag Team Championship Tournament First Round Match: Jay and Mark Briscoe beat Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw - An excellent match from both teams as QuackSaw looked to take out Dem Boys. The match started off with Mark Briscoe and Jigsaw in the ring but quickly turned into a shootout with both teams frequently tagging and the Briscoes attempting to hit their strongest double team moves and put away Team Chikara. The finishing stretch was intense, but in the end a Jay Driller from Jay to Jigsaw at 19:44 would put the exclamation point on this match. [****]
7.) Ring of Honor Tag Team Championship Tournament First Round Match: The Bruderschaft of Tim Donst and Tursas beat The Young Bucks of Nick and Matt Jackson - The BDK dominated the Young Bucks, completely controlling the match until Donst beat Jackson with the SDT at 3:14. After the match, Donst guaranteed that the BDK would be the first ROH Tag Team Champions. [DUD]
8.) Ring of Honor Tag Team Championship Tournament First Round Match: Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team of Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin beat Rhett Titus and Willie Mack - This was about as physical as any other match on the card to this point, as the new ANX looked to prove themselves against the world traveled WGTT. Titus battled Haas outside for most of the match, which left Willie Mack and Shelton Benjamin to show what they could do in the ring. Two of the most athletic competitors in ROH went full tilt until Benjamin hit the PAYDIRT at 16:53 to advance to the next round in the tournament. [***1/2]
9.) Eight Man Tag Team All Star Showcase: Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, El Generico and Adam Cole beat Roderick Strong, Michael Elgin, Kevin Steen and Kyle O'Reilly - This match was a true classic. To start out, Generico was not with his team as he was still injured in the back. Down 3-4, Davey Richards started against Roderick Strong. The frequent enemies took to each other, brutalizing each other with chops and kicks until Strong tagged in Elgin. Elgin manhandled Richards for a few minutes before Richards tagged in Adam Cole, who flew in with a Crossbody for a near fall. Cole would later be the recipient of a powerbomb on the apron from Steen, and then one onto the barricade from Elgin. O'Reilly and Davey were the only men left standing at one point in the match and began trading elbows until Michael Elgin floored Davey with a lariat. Eddie Edwards hit a double stomp on the apron to Kyle O'Reilly before being knocked off the apron by Roderick Strong. Richards hit Strong with a head kick, sending him outside. Kevin Steen attempted a Package Piledriver, but before he could lift Davey, El Generico made his way from the back and the two began brawling. As all eight men were fighting, Steen and Generico ended up the legal men in the ring. This lead to Generico hitting the Yakuza Kick and the Turnbuckle Brainbuster. Before he could pin Steen, Kyle O'Reilly dragged him outside. As Steen was getting up, Richards hit him with a brutal shoot kick to the temple to score the win at 34:59. [****1/2]
After the match, Roderick Strong attacked Davey Richards, hitting him with Death By Roderick and a Sick Kick before fleeing the scene.
[DVD Extra] Unbreakable? Adam Cole is shown icing his neck after the main event. Adam Cole: "Next show we have, we're going to Manhattan and it's a twelve man tournament to crown the first ROH World Champion and I'm in it. My opponent for the first round, well...he did this to me tonight. Michael Elgin, you are the strongest man in Ring of Honor, bar none. You're a dangerous guy, but you're wrong when you say that you're Unbreakable. Everyone has a breaking point, Mike...and I'm gonna find yours next month.
[DVD Extra] One Man's Hunt... Backstage, Davey Richards is visibly exhausted, having just won a grueling eight man tag match before being attacked by Roderick Strong. Davey Richards: "So Roddy, that's how we're gonna end the first show huh? You fake a handshake and hit me with a sick kick in the back of the head when I turned around. Alright, man. I see how you wanna play things. We've done this before, me and you but next show we're in a tournament to crown the first ROH World Champion. See, we're not opponents in the first round, we have to win our matches to get to the finals. And I'm counting on seeing you there, Roddy. And if it comes down to me and you, and God I hope it does...I'm gonna bring you hell.
I made the promise a long time ago to the only people who ever gave a damn about Davey Richards. I made the promise that I would become a World Champion someday, and I am NOT going to let them down. So Roddy, and everyone else in Survival of the Fittest...you boys consider this your notice. The Hunt's On."
[DVD Extra] Survival of the Strong? Roderick Strong is shown in the back with Truth Martini and Michael Elgin, toasting a successful attack on Davey Richards. Roderick Strong: "Hey, what are you doing here? Let me guess, you want a comment on what I did to Davey, right? Okay, here's a comment: That's what you get, Davey. You don't deserve to be here. I mean, you give some melodramatic story about how you made a promise to your dead family, well the promise has been broken time and time again. Next month in New York will be no different, Davey. Heh, Survival of the Fittest? More like Survival of the Strong. You and everyone else here Davey...you're gonna see that the House of Truth is the dominant force in pro wrestling. I hope I see you in the final, too. I'm gonna love kicking you in the head again, and holding up MY World Championship. And then, I'm gonna come back to Camp Strong and party like a real World Champion does."

ROH Video Wire: 2 Weeks Until Survival of the Fittest:
Clips of Homicide vs. Jimmy Jacobs from The Era of Honor Begins play before we are shown Homicide sitting in the locker room. Homicide: "Kevin Steen, in two weeks I got you at Survival of the Fittest. I got you and if I beat you, I go to the final to fight for the opportunity to be the first ROH World Champion. To make this all that more better, it's in my hometown. My backyard, we in New York City, Steen! I'm gonna hurt you. You call yourself S.C.U.M.? You think you know what being scum is all about? You don't know nothin', I'm gonna tear you apart. 5150...To live an' die in LAX. BLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAT!"
Rhino is shown leaving the arena after The Era of Honor Begins. Rhino: "What the f--k do you want? Get out of my way!"
Rhino stops, and stares at an off camera figure. Rhino: "What are you doin' here?"
Rhino walks off and gets in a car with this person, but we never see who it is. The car speeds away as we cut to the conclusion of the eight man showcase from The Era of Honor begins. We go to Eddie Edwards, who is icing his shoulder in the locker room.
Eddie Edwards: "Tonight was just the beginning. Tonight was also one of the most difficult nights of my entire life. That was one of the most brutal matches I have ever taken part in and next time I'm facing Rhino. That name strikes fear in the hearts of everyone here in ROH...well, almost everyone. Rhino, I don't fear you and you're gonna find out why they call me Die Hard. You're gonna find out what the Die Hard experience is all about. And once I'm done with you, I'm going to become the first ROH Champion."
El Generico is shown tearing apart a locker room after the show. He notices the camera and charges for it. Generico: "STEEN! REVANCHA! NEXT TIME...I KILL YOU! STEEN! REVANCHA! STEEN!"
Generico shoves the camera man down and we fade to black, concluding this week's ROH Video Wire.

ROH Video Wire: The Week of Survival of the Fittest:
Gary Michael Cappetta welcomes everyone to a new installment of the Video Wire as we look ahead to this weekend's historic Survival of the Fittest show, where twelve of the top professional wrestlers in the world will compete to crown the first Ring of Honor Champion. He's joined by ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness, who runs down the matches announced at the end of the video wire last week before we send it over to Rhino.
Rhino: "Survival of the Fittest, Eddie Edwards...DO YOU THINK YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE IT PAST ME? DO YOU THINK YOU STAND A SINGLE GODDAMN CHANCE AGAINST ME? I'VE BROKEN EVERY F--KING PERSON I HAVE EVER STEPPED INTO THE RING WITH AND YOU WILL BE NO DIFFERENT! I've been paid a lot of good money to see to it that you do not make it to the finals, and that's EXACTLY WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN! I'M GONNA LEAVE YOU IN A POOL OF YOUR OWN PISS, SHIT AND BLOOD AND YOU WILL REGRET THE DAY YOU WERE BORN WHEN I CUT YOU IN HALF WITH A GORE! GORE! GORE!"
Nigel McGuinness: "Well, from one extreme to the other, I suppose. Rhino is obviously very focused on this tournament for one reason or another, but let's go to Jay Lethal."
Jay Lethal: "This weekend is, to be quite honest with you, the biggest weekend of my life. Not just because I'm coming back to ROH for the second ever show, oh no...this weekend I have the chance, the opportunity for the first time in my career to be a World Champion. That journey starts with you, Kyle O'Reilly. Now, you're a hell of a wrestler. You're a hell of an athlete...but you will fall to the Lethal Injection and to everyone who advances in the finals, boys it's nothing personal. Jay Lethal is coming for that ROH World Championship."
We see Kyle O'Reilly practicing kickboxing with Tony Kozina. O'Reilly notices the camera and walks over to it.
Kyle O'Reilly: "So Jay Lethal...you say that this weekend you're going to go past me to win Survival of the Fittest. Well first off, Jay...you're not. You see, I'm better than you. While you're out partying, and making an absolute ass of yourself impersonating legends, I'm here training. I'm here fighting. I'm here trying to be the best that I can possibly be. So prepare for a fight, Jay. Prepare for a war, in fact. This weekend, I'm gonna beat you. This weekend, I'm gonna show the whole world why I am the best."
We see Davey Richards sitting outside. He looks up to the sky, where we see a full moon. The camera goes back to Davey, who smiles and walks away. As he steps off camera, a wolf can be heard howling as we see a picture of the ROH World Title and the video wire comes to a close.

You expect to keep me around when you keep losing?" Bennett: "Babe, listen I'm so.." Maria: "Sorry?! SORRY?! You think that's going to make up for anything? Look, you keep losing, you lose this. Got it?"
Maria walks away, visibly angry as Bennett has a look of concern on his face.

[POST SHOW] Nigel makes an announcement Nigel McGuinness is shown in his office. Nigel: "Hello, I hope you enjoyed Survival of the Fittest as much as I enjoyed bringin' it to you but we're not here to talk about that. In fact, we're here to talk about a big weekend ROH has coming up called Revolution. One night in the USA, one night in Canada. Big matches are already lining up, and I'm here to announce that I have secured the first two defenses of the Ring of Honor World Championship. First, at Revolution: USA, Roderick Strong will defend the ROH World Championship against Homicide. Now the winner of that match, whoever it may be, will defend the title in Canada the very next night against Canada's own Kyle O'Reilly!
That's not all, though. Also at Revolution USA, the final first round match in the Tag Title Tournament will take place as the American Wolves meet two men I know they want to get their hands on as they face the House of Truth of Rhino and Michael Elgin. Also, by the request of El Generico...he WILL get a match with Kevin Steen at Revolution: USA and it will be a Detroit Street Fight! Stay tuned to future Video Wires and Newswires as we announce more matches for this huge weekend!"
[POST SHOW] The Hunt = Over? Davey Richards is shown sitting in the locker room. He's staring at the floor with a look of complete disappointment on his face. Davey Richards: "For years, this is all I've done. Davey Richards is a wrestler, I've always said I let my wrestling do the talking, that I was a wrestler. It was supposed to culminate tonight with me becoming Ring of Honor Champion. This is where the best reside, the athletes, the true professionals....and then there's you, Roddy. I shoulda known you were gonna pull some chickenshit bullcrap like this. You couldn't beat me, and you knew it...so what? Truth hired Rhino? Big deal, I eliminated him. Michael Elgin? I didn't even have to take him out, you did a pretty good job of that for me. Then there was the ace in the hole, you hit me with that damn Book of Truth and well...the rest is history, right?
So congratulations, Roddy. You're the champ. Just remember this: Every time you turn around. Every time you close your eyes...I'll be there. In your dreams, your nightmares, in the face of every opponent you get in the ring with. I will get my redemption. The hunt? It's far from over. It's just beginning, Roddy. Your ass is mine. I don't know where, I don't know when, I don't know how. You're in my sights more than ever before, Roddy...and I'm coming for your head."
