I saw this thread on another forum, and liked the idea. I also took the pictures in this thread for that same topic. Me personally, I collect wrestling figures, DVDs, magazines, trading cards, and comics. Pics (Warning, big pics): Wrestling Figures: DVD Shelf: Behind the Blu Rays and ROH DVDs in this picture are the official release or PPV recordings of WWE PPVs that I have. Boxes of DVDs and stuff: Magazines/Comics: Dr. Wagner mask: So yeah, what do you collect?

My main collection is MOC LJN WWF figures. I have a pretty good collection of them. I have over 53 of them and many of them are signed. You can check out the pictures here... www.flickr.com/photos/toasterboy/sets/72157604082500604/I also collect just about anything Jimmy Hart related. Figures, DVDs, etc. But then I also have things like the jacket he's wearing on the back of his LJN figure and the shirt he's wearing on the cover of Outrageous Conduct. Just bought two of his high school yearbooks from his son. Non-wrestling related I collect memorabilia from the Walt Disney World's (and formerly of Disneyland's) Country Bear Jamboree. And I also collect Daredevil Comics and anything with the Marvel Character Jamie Maddrox in it. But that's it. I swear.

That's an damn impressive collection. I remember seeing that cage for the LJN ring in the box at a garage sale when I was little for like $15, and I couldn't get it. Really regret it now. My cousins had one, but they said it broke really easily.

Wow, that's alot of action figures.. very cool pics, both.
I loved those LJN guys when I was a kid. I had most of those at one time, but me and my little brothers played with them ALOT, so they're pretty worn and marked up (I used to think it was awesome when guys with red on them had their paint smear onto another guy and look like blood).
I collect all manner of things to read... books and comics... I have 26 nicely organized long boxes of comics, and a big tupperware tub of those waiting for space. My attic is pretty much a giant bookshelf.
I actually buy more trades than actual comics these days... jsut pick up a bunch of semi-current X-Men stuff, and some of the IDW Star Trek trades. There's this little book store in Connecticut that suddenly has an impressive stock of trade he's selling for over half off ($5-7 each).. I'm about to order a bunch more, in fact.
When I had less children and more money I bought alot of Star Wars and comic-related action figures, but it's been a while.
I also collect baseball and basketball cards, mostly older stuff.
@ Grant: How is the current X-Factor stuff? I just read Messiah Complex, and while it was good, Madrox in particular seemed like he could get messed up by it. It almost seemed like they were think of turning it into Exiles.

I am a collector of anything Michael Jordan. I have several basketball cards, magazines, t-shirts...don't have any dvd's yet though.
Also have a collection of various wires. Weird, I know. But you never know when you may need one. Coaxial, ethernet, phone, a-v....and probably some I don't know what they are.
And a collection of anything wolf...the animal not the COTG Star. Photos, tatoos, figureines, a lamp, t-shirts. I love wolves.

Pretty nice DVD collection, Knap. Here is my list, it's pretty outdated, but sort of not at the same time.

My life as a collector started very very early. Baseball cards and comic books started it off. I still say I collect those things now, but I rarely buy anything anymore. No money for it. But I still have a huge sports card collection and comic book collection, even if it's missing recent stuff.
Always been a reader so I have tons of books and tons that I haven't read, a lot of which are more than 10 years old. I have every Marvel related paperback book made. Lots of wrestling books.
Magazines mine are mostly old ones. I do have all the PWI Top 500 issues except 1992 and 1993. Year in Review I've got from 1988 to now. PWI Almanac have all those.
Of course there's my wrestling tape collection, and dvds. It's insane how much I have and I know people with vast amounts more than me. Way over 1,000 vhs tapes. Never started counting the dvds, probably around 1,000 of those now too.
Along with that is the movie and tv collection on tape and dvd.

I'd kill for the chance to go back and look through some of the PWI 500s from the 90s. I remember the 1997 one with Malenko as #1. Same thing goes for the Almanac. I have this year's one, it's pretty sweet. I'd like to see some of the older ones.

Something I started doing about six years ago, but quit I guess two years ago or so is autograph collecting thru the mail. I have a lot of signed cards and photos and it's very cool to get that envelope back from someone.

I did that when I was a kid! I used to send baseball cards out... I remember a pretty low success rate, but I did get a nice signed b & w pic from Nolan Ryan.. that was definitely the best one.
I bet it works even less nowadays.. to many people pretending to be fans that are really stores that go put it on E-bay.

At this point my life i've collected so many things I'm trying to get rid of most of it. I have a football and baseball card collection from the middle 1970's to around 1989, comic books from the late 1970's to the late 90's, mego superhero and G.I Joe action figures from the 1970's, pez dispeners, and just about anything wrestling related from the late 1970's to now. I'm really picky about what I buy anymore because it just gets to be too much. I think its about time to start selling it on e-bay

Current players in any sport are harder to get now. There are a lot that do sign. Some will always personalize to keep you from selling it on ebay. But a lot just won't. Older players are easier to get for free in the mail, or for pretty cheap.
Some cards I've gotten signed in the mail:
Mark Fidrych Alan Trammell Rich Gossage Orel Hershiser Andre Dawson Fernando Valenzuela Duke Snider Kirk Gibson Robin Roberts Phil Niekro Joe Niekro Lance Niekro Paul Molitor Dave Winfield Ralph Kiner Dave Parker Al Kaline Ozzie Smith
A lot of HOFers. Those are just some baseball ones.
