Sorry it's late, but the action with Bad News Brown and the New Minority will not dissappoint from last weekend! (commissioner things to do and all) I'm starting to feel bad for Orton.. he's taking 'Jobber to the Stars' to a whole new level. LOL yeah.....Orton hasn't been in the win column lately, but hopefully things will turn around for him. Weird part is he normally puts on great matches, had Hogan almost beat twice, but never seems to be able to put people away.

Card #19 City Coliseum Knoxville, TN 04-22-11 Santino Marellla vs Judas MesiasMesias' first match since losing the SMW TV Title.....and he is not happy as he delivers the STRAIGHT TO HELL on the concrete floor to Santino. Instead of bringing him back in the ring, he just goes back in the ring himself and Mesias wins by count out. "The Rock" Don Muraco vs Cowboy Bob OrtonMuraco wins an intense match after the HAWAIIAN HAMMER. After the match, Orton grabs as steel chair and clobbers Muraco with it several times. He then lays the chair in the center of the ring, and delivers the SUPERPLEX to Muraco on the steel chair. Muraco has to be helped from the ring. The Sheepherders vs Samoan Island TribeLuke gets the hard fought win for his team pinning Samu after the DOUBLE SLEDGE. Bad News Brown vs Shane DouglasBrown demands the rematch after last week, but could not control his temper as he is disqualified for ramming Douglas' head into the steel post. Brown grabs the mic after the match saying he is sick and tired of being screwed by the referees in SMW, and wants something done about it NOW! World Series of Hardcore: Match 6----Memphis Steel Cage MatchDrake Younger (3-2) vs Necro ButcherA classic steel cage match, Memphis style with the cage extending several feet past the ring. A brutal match, with several slams into the cage outside the ring by both men. Necro is on a mission in this one, mercifully pinning Younger after several ASIATIC SPIKE SUBMISSIONS. (Younger 6 tokens We are all tied up at 3 headed to next weeks final showdown!!!! SMW Heavyweight Champion Shawn Michaels vs Koko B. Ware2 popular stars lock up in this one. Probably a nice break for Koko from getting harassed by The Panthers in recent weeks. Not much in the way of results for Koko as he is pinned rather quickly after the SWEET CHIN MUSIC. HBK helps Koko up after the match, as the fans give both men a nice ovation. Hulk Hogan vs Mr. HughesMr. Hughes jumped Hogan before the bell and begins pounding on him. He manages to deliver the SIDEWALK SLAM and goes for the pin. Hogan kicks out with authority. Once Hogan manages to take control on offense, it is all over for Mr. Hughes. Hogan pins Mr. Hughes after the LEG DROP. Hogan poses for the crowd to the delight of the crowd, as an angry Mr. Hughes heads to the back. MAIN EVENT: SMW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCHRock and Roll Express (c) vs The Predators w/ Bobby HeenanA great match that had a little of everything. R&R looked to have Vader beat early with back to back DOUBLE DROPKICKS but Vader kicked out the first time and Heenan distracted the ref the second time. Vader puts a serious hurting on Morton, but Morton gets the hot tag. Heenan manages to distract the R&R after Gibson locks in the GIBSON LEGLOCK on Vader. After this happens, some music hits...... Hulk Hogan charges to the ring and clobbers Heenan to the delight of the crowd. While Monsoon is distracted by Hogan he turns around and the R&R hit the DOUBLE DROPKICK on Monsoon. The referee counts 3 and the R&R Express retain their titles. Hogan and the R&R Express pose in the ring to the crowd's delight as the show comes to an end. Heenan and The Predators argue with the referee to no avail. An obviously battered Heenan shouts back at Hogan, telling him that he is going to PAY BIG for interfering in Heenan Family business. Tommy "Wildfire" Rich vs Bam Bam BigelowRich was obviously frustrated with Bigelow constantly taking the action outside the ring, and in the heat of the moment hits Bigelow with a steel chair. Both men battle to the back to the delight of the crowd. Hess: At this time, I would like to welcome to the interview area......the SMW TV Champion Ravishing Rick Rude!!! Rude: The pleasure is all yours Hess......and all the lady fans of the SMW. Hess: You are defending today against a very tough man in Vampiro.....With last night's main event, Heenan is not able to be here tonight. Will this be a distraction? Rude: Bobby Heenan is the greatest manager in wrestling, period. But I am one of the greatest wrestlers in the LWA in my own right. And I will walk out of here the SMW TV Champion......the same way I walked in. This interview is over! Hess: Well obviously he is not happy with what happened to Bobby Heenan last night. (commercials) RGW Tag Team Champions The Heartbreak Express vs The Interns w/ Dr. Ken RamseySean and Phil Davis come out to a chorus of boos, insisting they be announced as the RGW Tag Team Champions. Hard to believe a team could be disliked as much or more than the Interns, but the Interns actually got a small cheer when they came out!!! HBX dominates but cannot keep the Interns down. Intern #2 locks THE CLAW in on Sean Davis, but Phil Davis enters the ring and hits Intern #2 with one of the title belts causing the DQ. HBX "escaped with their titles". Hess: Guys, where are you running off with those belts you stole? Sean Davis: Stole??? We won these fair and square in a match if the champions were DQ'd they lost their titles. Hess: That was not one of the match...... Phil: Shut up Hess. We are the RGW Tag Team Champions for a reason. These shiny title belts just make our sexiness stand out, don't they Hess? Hess: Which of the 2 of you are more sexy? I can't believe that came out of my mouth. Sean: I would say its a 2-way tie. And if Shawn Michaels took a little better care of himself like I do, he could have some potential. Hess: Oh boy......When we come back our next match! (commercials) Sgt Slaughter vs Hacksaw Butch Reed w/ Mr. HughesA brawl both inside and outside the ring........lucky for Reed Mr. Hughes is there as he provides a key distraction, allowing Reed to pick up the win after the TOP ROPE SHOULDER BLOCK. The Ross Report with Jim Ross Jim Ross: Hello wrestling fans, and welcome to the Ross Report. Here are some of the happenings in the world of SMW and around the LWA: Bobby Heenan is not all smiles about his recent lost by The Predators to the R&R Express. But not all is bad with Bobby, as he has happily agreed to a brand new SMW contract that will keep him here for a long time. And he said to expect bigger and better things from the Heenan Family over in EPW. He says The Predators are not done with R&R Express, and he restated that the Heenan Family is far from done with Hulk Hogan. Bad News Brown has stated he was happy with the first step in the recent developments with the New Minority in SLWC. Although he wasn't happy at the time, he says he has nothing personal against The Kangaroos, but the New Minority is his main focus. Also he claims his business with Shane Douglas is not through either. He hopes Douglas recaptures the SMW Title so he can personally beat Douglas for it. And speaking of Douglas...... There is a rumor has that there are problems within The Triple Threat. Shane Douglas has sold the contract of Cowboy Bob Orton to a new wrestler in SMW who is stated to be very rich. The strongest rumor is "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase at this time. And Bam Bam is rumored to be being sick of being in the background of Douglas....but there is no evidence at this time to prove this rumor to be true. The Heartbreak Express continue to sport the RGW Tag Team Titles.......people behind the scenes say Commissioner King may step into the matter in the near future. One confirmation we do have.......Longtime SMW wrestler from the past Barry Windham has come back to SMW in a trade for popular wrestler Sgt. Slaughter. Rumor has it that Sgt Slaughter was unhappy with his roadblocked status by Bad News Brown and was not getting the opportunities he earned in the ring. And the Sarge jumped at the chance to take on the big Russian stable in TCW. We wish Sarge the best in his future matches in the LWA. The Sarge and SMW parted ways on good terms and a possible return is not out of the question. And last but not least........A former territory champion of another promotion is coming to SMW! Rumor has it this man has a lot of unfinished business with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan....will he be going after The Predators with a partner, or will he attempt to unseat Ravishing Rick Rude from the SMW TV Title? That's all I have this week. And don't forget to tune in this week to SMW Friday FIRESTORM to catch all the news and updates! Also next week there will be a LWA Draft update plus a whole lot more!

Lee leaves the ring area frustrated as the crowd cheers Tiger Mask. The Interns w/ Dr Ken Ramsey vs The Barking SpidersThe Spiders look focused in this one, dominate the beginning. The Interns look tough, but they cannot hit their finishing hold. Clutch makes the hot tag to Ox, and he is on fire. He hits the SPIDER BITE DROP on #2, but #1 makes the save. While the referee is trying to get #1 out of the ring, Clutch sneaks into the ring and they deliver the SPIDER BITE DROP again on #2. The referee counts to 3 and the Barking Spiders win their debut match! "Wildfire" Tommy Rich vs Ernie Ladd w/ Bad News BrownThe crowd quickly turns to booing as Ernie Ladd makes his way down to ringside with Bad News Brown. The crowd boos as The Panthers stand tall in the ring. Bam Bam Bigelow w/ Shane Douglas vs BatistaBigelow looks very sluggish in this one, and Batista beats him quickly with the BATIISTA BOMB. After the match, Douglas argues with Bigelow about him being a fat failure. Bigelow gets angry and attempts to charge at Douglas, but Batista re-enters the ring and spears Bigelow. Douglas offers Batista a spot in Triple Threat. Batista makes a hand gesture like show him the money and then he leaves the ring. Santino mocks JBL telling him that he wont be able to buy his way out of THE COBRA!!! The crowd laughs but JBL is not amused. Santino actually gets in a fair amount of offense. It goes bad when JBL avoids the COBRA, JBL takes control, hits a JBL BOMB and then finishes it with the CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL. (JBL grabs the house mic.)JBL: For all you hillbillies that don't know. I am John Bradshaw Layfield. My car is worth more then all your trailer houses put together!! And I hope you enjoyed the show, because I am heading back to New York City. Damn it Orton get Prince Nana on the phone!!! (JBL leaves the ringside area and heads toward his limo to a chorus of boos.)MAIN EVENT: SMW Heavyweight Title MatchShawn Michaels (c) vs Shane DouglasDouglas attempts to wear Michaels down outside the ring, but it does not work as Michaels escapes with not much damage. Douglas takes control, delivering several offensive moves but cannot put Michaels away. Out of nowhere, Michaels delivers the SWEET CHIN MUSIC on Douglas, but somehow Douglas kicks out!! HBK waits for Douglas to stagger to his feet, and then he delivers a second SWEET CHIN MUSIC. This time Douglas does not get up and Michaels retains the SMW Heavyweight Title. (After the match, Brian Lee charges down to the ringside to try and get after Michaels but Michaels escapes through the crowd with the title belt as the show ends.) (end of show)

The Ross Report with Jim Ross Jim Ross: Hello wrestling fans, and welcome to the Ross Report. Here are some of the happenings in the world of SMW and around the LWA. SMW did very well at the draft: Ron Simmons seemed very happy to be the #1 pick of SMW. He stated with him and the next pick, the Black Panthers are at full strength. He ended the interview with DAMN! Ernie "The Black Panther" Ladd said he is happy to be back home in SMW. He plans on wearing gold really soon, and it could happen at the end of the SMW Memphis Title tournament!! "Prime Time" Brian Lee states there was nowhere else he wanted to be. When he got the call from Shane Douglas, he was here in a heartbeat. He called the SMW's office and pleaded with them to take him in the draft. I spoke to Tiger Mask through an interpreter, and he says he is happy, although somewhat shocked, that he was selected by SMW in this month's draft. He said he feels he can be very successful in SMW, and he also applauds that Commissioner King is very active in cross promoting, which could provide him many opportunities. Junkyard Dog says he looks forward at fighting The Black Panthers. He says that Bad News Brown and his cronies are giving black wrestlers a bad name, and he would like to shut them up for good!!! Fit Finlay states he is looking to fight anyone and everyone in the SMW. SMW will have its hands full with the Fighting Irishman. The Barking Spiders, acquired from EPW in a draft day trade, see a big opportunity in the tag team division. They look to make big waves in the SMW. JBL is still very upset over what he has learned as being traded to SMW. He says his home is New York City, and the only worse place he could have been sent is somewhere in Texas. Also took a shot, saying that now he has money he no longer has to live in Texas, and is proud to be from New York City. He has accepted a spot in the Memphis Title Tournament, but this does not mean his litigation with EPW is over with. And last but not least.......More problems with EPW. I was shown by one of the newest superstars, Batista, a letter that seems to be on EPW letterhead. He is told in this letter that he was traded to SMW so they can push what he claims to be "The Golden Boy of EPW".......Goldberg. He claims he would break Goldberg in half, just the way he broke his former partner Taz in half, if they ever met in the ring. He also called the trade of him a "gutless move" by that snake Shane McMahon. And who am I to argue this??? Although I do question that the EPW document he has in his hand is authentic. The SMW Memphis Title Tournament looks to be a great event. 16 of the top SMW stars, including JBL, Batista, Shane Douglas, and others vie to become the first Memphis champion. I look forward to the tournament starting this Friday night. That's all I have this week. Hope to see you all at the next Friday Firestorm!!!

The Predators win by DQ. (After the match, The Big Show grabs the mic and challenges The Predators to a match next week versus himself and Hogan next week in a STEEL CAGE. He blames Heenan's involvement for the loss this week. Heenan quickly accepts, and promises this will prove once and for all whoever the SMW puts up against The Predators, they will continue to knock them down.)Jim Ross comes out and announces the results of the SMW Memphis Title Tournament to date. Card #25 The SMW Asylum Tennessee Fairgrounds Nashville, TN 05-13-11 Mr. Hughes vs Santino MarellaCOBRA!!!! Well no.......But Santino does pull off his first real win in the SMW after pinning Mr. Hughes after a SALUTING HEADBUTT. The Cobra was attempted 3 times with no success. Mr. Hughes attempts to assault Santino while he is playing the "air trombone" after the match, but Santino ducks doing the splits and Hughes tumbles through the ropes to the delight of the crowd. "Wildfire" Tommy Rich vs Koko B. WareA pretty even match that ends with Rich hitting the VERTICAL BODY BLOCK. SMW Memphis Title Tournament----Round 2JBL vs Tiger MaskA great match that saw several near falls. A spectacular finish as a botched deathjump by Tiger Mask turns into a CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL and a victory for a weary JBL. #1 Contenders Match-----SMW Tag Team TitlesDOOM vs The SheepherdersBrown is not in DOOM's corner as he prepares for his match later on in the show. DOOM looks very focused in this one, as they isolate Butch in the ring, eventually with Simmons pining Butch after a FOOTBALL TACKLE. DOOM are the new #1 contenders!!!! SMW Memphis Title Tournament----Round 2Junkyard Dog vs Bad News Brown w/ Mr. HughesThe referee loses control of this match and has no choice but to rule as a DOUBLE DISQUALIFICATION. Bad News Brown after the match grabs a steel chair and hits JYD in the head with it, but it seems to have no effect. JYD manages to fight off both Brown and Hughes long enough to get a hold of his steel chain. Both Brown and Hughes retreat to the delight of the crowd. This is far from over between these men. SMW Memphis Title Tournament----Round 2Cowboy Bob Orton vs Judas MesiasAs good as Mesias looked this week.......he looked just as bad this week. Orton gets the win on Mesias after a DEATHJUMP. JBL comes down to ringside and congratulates Orton after the big win. JBL grabs the mic and says the "Windham Experiment" is over, whatever that means. SMW Heavyweight Champion Shawn Michaels vs Ernie LaddLadd also comes to the ring alone since The Panthers are preoccupied with other stuff. But I am sure they are watching. A wild clothesline missed by Ladd in this one proves to be the difference as then he walks into the SWEET CHIN MUSIC and a big win for Michaels in this one. www.youtube.co/watch?v=I7Ei9rQDhmISMW Memphis Title Tournament----Round 2"The Franchise" Shane Douglas vs BatistaDouglas comes out to his normal chorus of boos. A mixed reaction for Batista. Douglas and Batista actually shake hands before the match begins, which is shocking in itself. Douglas did amazing to survive, kicking out of 2 BATISTA BOMBS. A concerned Brian Lee came down to ringside, but just looked on, not getting involved in the match. Douglas and Batista battle outside the ring, but lose track of time. Douglas manages to get into the ring, beating the 10 count. Batista was not as lucky, as Douglas gets the win. Douglas sees Batista angry and he just leaves the ringside area with the help from Brian Lee. SMW Memphis Title Tournament BracketJBL vs BYE (due to JYD/Brown Double DQ) Cowboy Bob Orton vs Shane Douglas MAIN EVENT: STEEL CAGE CHALLENGEHulk Hogan/Big Show vs The PredatorsA large portion of the match has Hogan battling both Predators. Vader has Hogan beat down, but somehow Hogan manages to tag in The Big Show. The Big Show is on fire, nailing both Predators with several power moves. Vader makes a recovery and clotheslines Show back into the ropes. Hogan slaps Show on the back and tags himself in. The crowd goes wild as Hogan regains the upper hand for his team. Hogan hits the BIG BOOT on Monsoon and signals for the LEG DROP. He goes to spring off the ropes, but instead Big Show grabs Hogan by the neck. Big Show steps over the ropes and delivers a CHOKE SLAM to Hogan. The crowd is stunned as Vader covers Hogan for the 3 count. (All 3 men continue to pound on Hogan as SMW security attempt to remove the cage to get in to help Hogan. Heenan comes down to ringside and calls his men off as SMW officials enter the ring. Heenan then says over the mic that Hulkamania is dead, and The Giant will finish the job on Hogan very soon!!!)(end of show)
