I asked Werner a month or so ago about Fringe because to me the art looks like WWF version of "Loose Cannon" Brian Pillman. He says if it does, its purely coincidental. He didn't really think it looked like him, but to me it was almost a dead ringer. Could be off base on that, who knows. Fringe's art was based off Brad Pitt's character of Jeffrey in the movie 12 Monkeys. A bandana on the head was removed since it didn't look right and placed on the jacket (which the jacket was meant to replicate Edge's jacket) and the finished product looks a lot like Edge all around, minus the facial hair. Being my favorite wrestler I didn't mind at all, of course. Pillman as the Loose Cannon was one of my favorite characters of all time , however the art was not based off Pillman. Thanks for the info. It is a really cool character from what I read in the handbook, and it sounds like it will be a lot of fun to use. I was just thinking Pillman because to me it looks a lot like him, especially the eyes and hair and the Loose Cannon was always on "The Fringe of insanity" , but now I do see the resemblance to Edge as well. I guess people are already looking for a ZT bootleg of Kevin Nash to go with Blade Machismo. I thought the Big Daddy Kill card seemed based on Nash, at least the name being similar and the bio sounds a lot like Kevin Nash. But haven't seen the card yet so not sure if this is a viable substitute or not. The nWo had 10 guys or so anyways at its heyday so its not like BDK's allies couldn't be in the faction along with Superstar, Freak Out, Olympus, and Blade Machismo. The Andrea the Giant card reminds me a little of Nicole Bass, that is if Nicole Bass could actually wrestle.

Does anyone want me to come up a new name for this Kevin Nash bootleg I did using the Stanley drawing and make it a 'Z bootleg? I could edit out the nWo logo on the t-shirt too, for that matter. www.megaupload.com/?d=ZA5XUS9DPS "Old Skewl", Olympus will be used heavily be me. There's no way that character is "falling by the wayside" as far as I'm concerned. Scott Steiner was one of my favorite guys in WCW during the late 90s.

Nash would be fun to use with the other clone guys. As far as names, I was thinking something like Big Sexy and calling his finisher The Big Sexy Bomb or something like that. Or Bigg Rigg like was brought up before would be fine too. Whatever one you would prefer. Not sure how great that Big Daddy Kill character would sub for Nash, but a Nash ZT guy would work a whole lot better by the sounds of it. I plan on using the Olympus character a lot too, not sure on Stunning Steph at first, got so much going not sure I will have time to run a womens division at the start. Could have Olympus and Freak Out fight over her I suppose.

I was thinking of Bigg Rigg for my version. No idea on the finisher name. His team with Blade was going to be the Darksiders.

Y2K is mine. I am a big Jericho fan. He was originally Kid Rumble back in the day, one of my bootlegs that took off...he changed to Y2K eventually and I started patterning his moves after Jericho's. I didn't want him to be a "clone" and he's not really, and I think Werner did a bang up job of separating Y2K the look from Jericho, which is what I wanted.
People like Fringe and Olympus that may or may not have been cloned are still cool tributes regardless. I like how they may have accidentally turned out that way. I thought Pillman too for Fringe, and I enjoyed that as I was a big Pillman mark as well.

While not a Z fan, the set looks nice. I flipped through it at I-CON. Avarice's Y2K card is pretty cool and should be a fun character.

You should consider getting it. I think you would really like the Z as it's presented in this set.

Had first hand encounters with ome of the talent this weekend at ICON... and have to say that everyone enjoyed them! Especially Kevin Butcher's card....on a side match, he put the beatdown on Freak Out with the feared nine toed dropkick and INNER CIRCLE BEAT DOWN! Was hillarious...especially everytime KB was thrown into the ropes-you have to see it to believe it!

Well since I made her, Amaranth is based on Lord Raptor's midnight blissed form from Darkstalkers 3.
