"According to PWInsider, WWE has registered to trademark ‘WrestleFest’ for use in video games."
Ohhhhhhhh shit if this ends up being a modern HD version of the game. Fuuuuuuuck this shit if this ends up being a game with modern guys.

I would think it's definitely going to be modern guys. Just my guess, could have some from the past.

Someone posted on a board I visit that this may end up a $14.99 downloadable sequel to All Stars. THQ_Tank also said on Twitter that January will be a big month for the WWE Games community with the new DLC for WWE 12 and "who knows what else". This game may end up as the "who knows what else"

From Lords of Pain: "- As noted yesterday, WWE has registered to trademark WrestleFest, the name of a popular WWF arcade game. WWE is not bringing back the WrestleFest title. The reason for the trademark filing is WWE got wind of an outside project that was in the works. WWE sent a cease-and-desist letter to those working on the project and filed the trademark."
Shame. This one had the rumor mill really going.

An idea like this would make a ton of money, same with if they released the No Mercy, WM2000 and WCW/nWo Revenge titles for the Wii Virtual Store. Sad that I was more excited for a title like Wrestlefest than WWE 12.

The AKI games will never be released again since the team that made the game already work on the WWE/UFC games and THQ don't want to pay the money to edit all of the shit they'd have to to release those games.

Rumor has it that it'll be on PSN and XBLA too. Someone who saw the trailer said it ended with "AVAILABLE NOW!" so you can probably expect it to be up the day it gets officially revealed.
