After reading the saga of "who owns the Patriot name in wrestling?" I did some searching. Look at what Roy Wayne Farris has attempted to do over the years. What a dick. Go to this site, select "owner name and address" for field, type in "Roy Farris", and behold. tmsearch.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?f=searchss&state=4808:houpuw.1.1Is that owner name and address a field you can select? I was having no luck I eventually figured it out. You're not missing much. A lot of pointless names and phrases that a guy named Roy Farris trademarked.

So (I'm guessing) its a case where he's sitting on his ass at home just waiting for something to expire and jumps on it?

So (I'm guessing) its a case where he's sitting on his ass at home just waiting for something to expire and jumps on it? I understand that sites search feature may be antiquated and unnecessarily complicated, but that's because it is a government site. The bottom line is that Roy Wayne Farris, better known as the Honky Tonk Man, has attempted over the years to trademark the following people's names: Rowdy Roddy Piper, Ricky Steamboat, Linda Hogan, Nick Hogan, Jake the Snake Roberts, and The Patriot (in addition to....hey, his own wrestling name!). The long and short is that besides his own name (which I WISH someone would have grabbed just for karma sake) the Patriot is the only one he was able to secure without a challenge. It's a real asshole move and the reason The Patriot cannot be called his OWN name for the game. I'm still waiting for the Heidenreich card, preferably in new LOD face paint. This has GOT to be the year. Attachments:

Stevie Richards was a given as being signed after the Live Event. Good addition to the game. Now the Blue Meanie has a tag team partner.

Definitely like Richards and will almost certainly put him with Meanie at least for a while.

I love it....
But Stevie looks seriously pissed off in that drawing. He is coming to Legends Of Wrestling....to kick someone's ass!

New low set looks good so far. Too bad to hear about HTM. He was always one of my favorites. Not to open a can of worms but I can't help feel like the low stuff looks dated next to all the color stuff. Patriot would look great colored.

big problem is the same as always, does Tom really want to try and recolor 200+ cards at this point? I'm not sure the answer to that.

I kind of like the b/w feel of LOW. It's like paging through an old magazine or newspaper.

I don't know how many current customers could afford the upgrade, or if there are enough new customers out there to justify the costs.
I think if FG really wants to expand, the focus needs to be on significantly upgrading the online game. Cards and dice just don't have the appeal of a flashy app. Look at WWE Supercard.
But honestly, what do I know?

Tommy Gilbert to no real surprise is next. Should be a nice card, but that's two weeks in a row where we have guys we knew we were going to get.
