CWF #1 TV Taping Eddie Graham Sports Complex; Orlando, Fl Aired on 24 May 2008 --Gordon Solie opens the broadcast by telling us that Championship Wrestling from Florida is under new ownership. Gordon says that Sgt Slaughter remains the Florida champion but the other two titles have been vacated. Gordon says we'll hear from Sarge later in the show. Gordon says the Florida TV title will be determined in today's main event as Rocky Johnson squares off against his guest at this time, Gino Hernandez. Gino has a beautiful lady on each arm as he talks about flying these stunning ladies up from Miami Beach. Gino says the more things change, the more they stay the same. Gino will always be classy, sophisticated, and successful while everyone else in the territory will always be talent less no-class hacks. Gino says the world will witness him destroying Rocky Johnson and win the TV title because Rocky isn’t anywhere near his talent level. He turns his attention to his opponent for Memorial Day, Mike Graham. He says he’s gonna take the ’Pride of Florida’ and show why he’s just so much better than Mike Graham. 1. Tim Horner/David Sammartino def. Angelo Poffo/'Iron' Mike SharpeThe two Florida newcomers worked like a well-oiled machine as they took complete control of the match. Sammartino finished off a weakened Poffo with the Bearhug. 2. Chris Adams def. Assassin #2 by disqualificationChris Adams dominated his opponent in this one but Assassin #1 crashes the party after an Adam’s Inverted Piledriver. The Assassins put a serious beating on Adams before Mr Wrestling and Rocky Johnson come out to make the save. --Gordon brings The Assassins to the broadcast table. Gordon talks about the Triple Threat Match to determine new Florida tag champs on Memorial Day. Assassin #1 talks about how he feels bad for Lou Albano's Moondogs as they have to prove themselves champions again. He says that the Moondogs are a great team and deserve to be in the match unlike Mr Wrestling/Rocky Johnson. He says Mr Wrestling/Johnson don't deserve to be in the match and will be outclassed in the end. He says the world knows The Assassins are a world-class team but it's always nice to back it up with championship gold. Mr Wrestling comes out with a piece of paper and tells The Assassins that it's a contract to face him and Rocky Johnson at the Sunday night house show. Mr Wrestling tells the Assassins if they really got the guts then sign the contract. 3. Bulldog Brower def. Mike GrahamThey go at each other from the opening bell in a short but hard-hitting match. Graham survives two Piledrivers from Brower and could have put Brower away if he hadn’t missed a body splash and crashed into the ringside railing. Brower drags Graham back into the ring and hits his third Piledriver of the match to pick up the win. 4. In the television main event, Gino Hernandez def. Rocky Johnson to determine the new Florida TV championGreat match that goes almost 20-minutes and sees ton of counter-wrestling action. Rocky looks to have the match won as he sets Hernandez up for the Flying Bodypress but Gino moves and Rocky crashes into the turnbuckles. Gino follows with a series of fist drops tp pick up the win and the belt. Gino celebrates as his two lady friends come to the ring to help him celebrate. --Gordon runs down the big Memorial Day card where Sgt Slaughter defends against Killer Karl Kox. Gordon brings Sgt Slaughter out and asks him about his match against Kox. Sarge says he's all about honor and respect but Kox has no honor nor respect. Sarge says Memorial Day is about this nation's heroes and he's gonna whip Kox from pillar to post to honor those heroes. Lou Albano and Karl Kox confront Slaughter and say he's a sad sorry excuse for a hero. Albano says that he's going to be laughing at Slaughter when Kox takes that Florida title from him. Gordon cues the closing credits but as they roll, Kox attacks Slaughter and nails him with a vicious clothesline as the show goes off the air. Dark Portion 5. Sgt Slaughter def. Killer Karl Kox w/ Lou AlbanoMatch started as Kox delivered another devastating clothesline when they got in the ring. Albano hands Kox a pair of brass knuckles and Kox blasts the Florida champ with them before the ref slides in the ring. Kox does a number on Sarge with the brass knuckles as Albano distracts the ref. Slaughter is a bloody mess by the time the ref returns his attention to the match. Kox looks to finish the champ off and tosses Slaughter to the floor. Slaughter reverses a ringpost ram and sends Kox into Albano. Slaughter sends Kox into the ringpost and then tosses him back into the ring. Slaughter quickly locks in the Cobra Clutch and sends the crowd home happy.

CWF #2/25 May 2008 Fort Hesterly Armory; Tampa, Fl 1. ‘Bruiser’ Bob Sweetan def. Angelo PoffoSweetan attacks before the opening bell and does a number on Poffo. Sweetan pulls Poffo up after a series of hard punches and gets admonished by the referee. Sweetan toys with Poffo before crushing him with the Piledriver to get the win. 2. Gino Brito def. Sweet Daddy Siki by dqBrito riled Siki up during the match by messing up his hair during a headlock attempt. Siki tossed Brito to the floor, promptly grabbed his mirror out of the corner, and smashed Brito with it in front of the referee. The ref had no choice but to disqualify Siki giving the victory to a bloodied Brito. 3. Chris Adams def. Gino HernandezThese two former PNW/World Class partners battled tooth and nail in a long methodical bout. Adams survives a Flying Reverse Elbow Drop and Hernandez survives an Inverted Piledriver. However, Gino misses a turnbuckle charge and walks right into an Adams’ super kick for the finish. 4. Sgt Slaughter/Mike Graham/David Sammartino ddq Killer Karl Kox/The Moondogs The referee lost control of this one early as Sammartino took a beating. The Moondogs beat him bloody with their bones and left the up and comer crumpled near the ring steps. Slaughter attacked Kox at the opening bell and they battled throughout the Armory and even into the crowd. Sarge locks Kox in the Cobra Clutch and chokes his rival out. However, Albano brains Slaughter with a steel chair and leaves him laying. Graham goes after Albano but gets brutally beat down by the Moondogs and their bones. Finally, security is able to restore order as The Moondogs are the only ones to walk away unscathed. 5. Mr Olympia def. Steve KeirnKeirn starts off fast as he catches Olympia coming through the ropes with an elbow smash followed by a flying clothesline. Olympia comes back after catching Keirn with a knee to the head during a botched back body drop attempt. Olympia tosses Keirn to the floor twice and both times Keirn eats a ringpost ram. Back in the ring, Olympia locks a groggy Keirn in the Sleeperhold for the win. 6. The Assassins def. Mr Wrestling/Rocky JohnsonExcellent main event as both teams went all out. Rocky tore into both Assassins as did Mr Wrestling. Assassins fight back and isolate Mr Wrestling in their corner and work him over with illegal tactics. The Assassins end it with a Spike Piledriver on Mr Wrestling as Rocky tries to make the save but is tossed to the floor. Afterwards, The Assassins deliver a second Spike Piledriver in an effort to weaken and injure Mr Wrestling for tomorrow’s tag title determination match.

David Sammartino Wolfie controls almost the entire match and finishes Sammartino off with Smash With Hubcap behind the referee’s back. Afterwards, The Assassins hit the ring and crush Sammartino with a Spike Piledriver. Mike Graham, Steve Keirn, and Tim Horner run The Assassins off but Sammartino had to be carried to the back. 3. Sweet Daddy Siki def. Gino BritoA continuation from last night’s house show between these two. Brito spent a majority of the match on offense but couldn’t put Siki away. Brito climbs the buckles but Siki moves and Brito crashes into the referee. Siki takes advantage and nails Brito with his mirror; blooding Brito in the process.
