Lita/Ida Mae Martinez def. Yumi Fukawa/Chaparrita Asari
Lita is welcomed back to IWWF by the fans and reforms her team with Ida Mae Martinez. The match doesn't start off well for her as Yumi and Asari quickly put Lita down for a two-count. Lita take a break outside and turns the match around against Asari. Ida Mae holds her own then Lita DDTs Yumi and always wins the match. Lita blasts Yumi with the spear and gets the win.
The upcoming battle royal almost got started early as Luna Vachon ran down and attacked Lita. Then more of the superstars from Big Sky Wrestling started piling into the ring -- Misty Blue Simms, April Hunter, Jazz. The brawl worked its way back to the locker room. Yumi and Asari were not originally scheduled to be in the battle royal but after the big fight at the end of their match they both wanted in and the powers that be made it so.
17-woman Royal Rumble
Once the ringside area was clear of wrestlers the Royal Rumble began. Entering the ring at No. 1 and 2 are a pair of free agents invited to the show -- Debbie Coombs and Malia Hosaka. Every two minutes a new combatant will enter the match.
Coombs started to take over against Hosaka and was trying to toss her out when the next wrestler came in, Chaparrita Asari! She went after Coombs but Debbie quickly turned things around and was close to eliminating Asari. That's when Hosaka came up from behind and dumped Coombs over the top rope.
Before the next wrestler could get in the ring, Asari planted Hosaka with a michinoku driver and tossed her out of the ring.
Misty Blue Simms entered the match next. She went right to work and quickly sent Asari flying out of the ring with a tremendous drop kick which let her stand alone in the ring waiting for the next wrestler.
Ida Mae Martinez came in at No. 5. Simms took over against Ida Mae and then Yumi Fukawa entered the match. Yumi grabbed Ida Mae away from Misty Blue and applie the ankle lock and then tried to put her over the top rope. Misty Blue stopped the move and she and Ida Mae then double teamed Yumi. Ida Mae then tried to eliminate Yumi and Misty Blue stopped that attempt as well and went to work on Martinez. Next into the ring is Combat Toyoda and she went after Misty Blue while Ida Mae and Yumi fought. None of the four could gain an upperhand and Victoria joined the match. Victoria tore into Misty Blue but Combat Toyoda stopped her from eliminating Simms. Toyoda and Victoria then fought back and forth. During this time Ida Mae and Yumi resumed fighting and then Madusa Miceli joined them in the ring. Toyoda and Victoria continued to go at it toe to toe. Madusa went after Misty Blue but got nailed by a dropkick and just like that Simms hurled Miceli out of the ring.
Right after Madusa hit the floor, Ida Mae eliminated Yumi Fukawa.
Combat Toyoda started to take over against Victoria. Misty Blue had Ida Mae almost out of the ring but she held on and April Hunter came in the ring. April jumped on Combat Toyoda. Ida Mae started fighting Misty Blue but Victoria came over and blasted her from behind and put Martinez over the top rope.
Luna Vachon entered the match next. Vachon started on Misty Blue but Victoria came in and took control of her while April and Combat continued to fight. Melina came in at No. 12. Combat charged at April but she ducked and backdropped her over the turnbuckle and to the floor.
Victoria had Luna ready to go out but Melina interferred. Victoria then was ready to dump out Melina when Misty Blue charged over and Victoria saw her coming and backdropped Simms out of the ring.
April, Victoria, Melina and Luna were then joined in the ring by Jazz at No. 13. Jazz fired Victoria out of the ring before Melina could do anything about it.
April and Luna went at it and Hunter dominated with a power bomb and tossed Vachon out of the ring.
Jazz began to work over Melina when Trish Stratus ran to the ring. Trish hooked up with April and it was Big Red dominating. Melina was close to eliminating Jazz when Lita entered the match. April and Trish went back and forth and Lita went after Jazz. It was all Lita as Princess Victoria entered the fight. April kept on top of Stratus but couldn't get her out of the ring. The Princess fought with Melina while Jazz and Lita went back and forth. The last entry is Heidi Lee Morgan making seven wrestlers still in the battle royal. April looked ready to eliminate Trish but Heidi Lee stopped the move. Morgan and April then went at it. Lita speared Jazz while Melina and the Princess kept fighting. Trish and Heidi Lee then doubleteamed April. Melina came close to eliminating the Princess. Lita finally tossed Jazz after a big powerbomb.
That leaves six wrestlers still in the Royal Rumble. Trish and Heidi kept working over Big Red but couldn't put her out. Lita and Princess Victoria began to team up on Melina. April was staying alive against Trish and Heidi Lee. April came back but Heidi Lee saved Trish from elimination. Melina looked close to getting rid of Lita when Princess Victoria came charging in from behind and both the Princess and Melina spilled to the floor while Lita held on.
That leaves April, Trish, Heidi Lee and Lita still in the ring. April really took control against Trish and Lita went after Heidi Lee. Lita really tore into Heidi Lee but Morgan rallied and hit a high-risk missile dropkick that sent Lita out of the ring.
Trish and Heidi Lee went back to doubleteaming April. Hunter was set to power Trish out of the ring when Morgan came charging at her and instead April press slammed Heidi Lee over the top rope.
April Hunter and Trish Stratus are the final two in the Royal Rumble. They went back and forth toe to toe until a powerbomb by April gave her the chance to throw Trish over the top rope and win the Royal Rumble!

Glamor Girls def. Double Inoue
Kyoko and Takako Inoue were able to hold their own against the Glamor Girls but really didn't keep up in the hardcore department. The fight went back and forth and Martin caught Takako with a DDT for the pin. Martin and Kai seriously did a number on her after the match, leaving her laying in the ring.
Best 2/3 Falls
International Womens Tag Team Championship
Las Cachorras def. Jumping Bomb Angels (ch), 2-1
The champs got off to a real fast start against Etsuko Mita. They nailed her with a double dropkick then a German suplex by Noriyo Tateno scored the three count for the first fall. In the second fall, Tateno made the mistake of taking Shimoda to the outside. She quickly took advantage and then the Ax Kick/DVD combo put her away to even the match.
The final fall was amazing tag team wrestling. Over and over they went back and forth with near falls, tags and saves. The JBA blasted Mita with a double dropkick from the top rope. Shimoda came in to break up the pin and all four were in the ring. While the ref was putting Tateno out, Shimoda kicked Yamazaki in the head and rolled Mita over on top and Las Cachorras stole the three count and the IWWF tag team championship! The four-month run on top for the JBA is over.
Six-Man No-Holds Barred Elimination Match
Fabulous Moolah/Sherri Martel/Wendi Richter def. Crush Gals/Toshiyo Yamada
It didn't take very long for this match to go way over to the hardcore side. Richter and Asuka killed each other with anything they could get their hands outside the ring. Moolah and Nagayo did the same thing. Nagayo hit the Superfreak on Moolah to score the first elimination.
All three team members went to work on Richter. The teams went toe to toe then after more battling on the outside, Martel rolled Asuka up for a three count to even the match.
Martel and Richter then tore into Yamada and a powerbomb by Richter put her away to leave Nagayo along two on one.
Nagayo went up against both ladies and took control of the match, almost pinning both of them. Martel and Richter tagged in and out and Nagayo kicked out after the top rope splash from the Sensational One. Richter powerbombed Nagayo and still couldn't get the three. Richter powerbombed her a second time and finally ended the match.
Survivors: Sherri Martel and Wendi Richter
Steel Cage Elimination Match
The Atrocious Alliance def. Reggie Bennett/Akira Hokuto/Manami Toyota/Mayumi Ozaki
This war started real fast with Dump busting Toyota open with a sharp object right at the beginning. Hokuto then took a major pounding from Bull and Aja. She managed to tag in Bennett who tore into Masami, then the Atrocious Alliance put the IWWF champion in dire straits. Bennett got the tag to Ozaki who went to work on Dump and Masami. Toyota missed a top rope dive but kept things going her way and brought Hokuto back in. Bennett and Ozaki also strung several moves togther. Toyota and Kong went toe to toe but the monster Aja won this round. After lots of tagging in and out, Hokuto hit Dump off the top rope. Toyota did the same thing twice in a row and held Matsumoto down for the pin.
Masami set Toyota up for Bull to hit a top rope guillotine leg drop to eliminate Manami and even the match at three on three.
All sorts of back and forth action ended with Hokuto nailing Masami with Northern Lights Bomb to make it three on two.
Kong powerbombed Bennett twice but the champ kicked out after the Uraken. Bull landed the top rope guillotine to pin Bennett.
That leaves Aja and Bull against Hokuto and Ozaki. Bull and Aja tagged in and out repeatedly and dominated against Ozaki. Kong hit the spinning back fist but Hokuto was able to stop the count. Hokuto got the tag but Bull powerbombed her and almost got the three count. Hokuto battled both opponents and Ozaki got a near fall on Bull after her own Uraken. Ozaki missed coming off the top rope. Hokuto caught Bull with a spinning heel kick and then the Northern Lights Bomb but couldn't get the three. Hokuto smashed Bull's head over and over into the steel cage. Ozaki used Tequila Sunrise but Aja made the save. Hokuto planted Bull with the Northern Lights Bomb to finish her off and leave Aja Kong all by herself.
A brainbuster by Aja brought Ozaki into the ring to save Hokuto. Another brainbuster and warrior that is Hokuto got the shoulder up! A northern lights suplex brought Ozaki back in but she was rammed into the cage. A powerbomb but Hokuto made the tag. Kong hits Ozaki with a pair of brainbusters to finish her off, leaving Aja and Hokuto one on one.
Hokuto exploded for a brief moment with offense but she had lost a lot of blood already and Kong crushed her with another powerbomb to win the match.
(Hokuto had a pin of 9)
