Anyone play Marvel Ultimate Alliance? A friend of mine has been here visiting this week, he brought his ps3 and we rented Legends of Wrestlemania and. U.Alliance.
We are stuck at the Arcade boss fight in Murderworld. We've looked at online walkthroughs for the game but they are not specific enough. We land on the robots head, but can't hit the right button or shake the controller correctly to make the bot hit himself in the head.
Any help?

I love this game. So much so that every character is level 99.
Did you ever figure this out?

I find it helpful to stare at the screen and let your peripheral vision pick up the button taps. Love this game as well...completed several times.

I got past the Arcade boss fight on my first try, took me a couple of hours, though.
I liked the X-Men Legends games more than Ultimate Alliance (and don't even get me started on that Easy Mode bullshit sequel).

I thought X men Legends II was much better than MUA (I never played X Men I). I liked the equipment system better. I love MUA mainly because I can play Thor, but it always felt a little too nice and neat for me. Every screen had only four enemies, bosses were kinda easy.
Plus in XL II, you could set up Deadpool so he destroyed even the toughest bosses in three strokes.

I enjoyed all of the Marvel games like these, but I play so little video games it's not even funny. I played the DC game (Justice League Heroes) with my wife and my friend's son, which was fun but just don't have time. I am still on God of War 1! (Damn archers keep destroying my jumping box!)

Now God of War, those are fantastic games. My favorite to be exact. And I know exactly what part you are talking about!

Now God of War, those are fantastic games. My favorite to be exact. And I know exactly what part you are talking about! I wasn't a fan of God of War III. The end fight with Zeus was too easy, and the properties they gave bigger enemies to knock you out of the air mid attack changed how you approached them, which often times meant death. But God of War II... there's a great game. Probably in my top 3 video games ever.

I really like both X-Men and Ultimate Alliance... though UA has a little rough at the start.. that first level is pretty annoying when you've never played before! I really liked how there were secondary goals (I think that was in X-Men) and the ending varied based on them... that was very cool. Justice League was OK, but not nearly as well done as the Marvel games... not a lot of variation in the bad guys, and kinda easy, really. God of War is indeed awesome

I actually finished X-Men Legends II on the pc. MUA we never finished. My friend got MUA2 and over a weekend we finished it. Don't knock the easy mode! I just played on the second one where your guys could die. I don't have any video game systems so I'm just happy to play. After I was gone Lonnie continued in Legend mode to get everybody unlocked.

I just sold my PS3, sadly. I have just enough time for LOW/COTG. I used to be addicted to obtaining trophies. With that said, I really enjoyed Marvel Ultimate Universe.

I bought a PS2 for Fire Pro Wrestling Returns. I have yet to play it. As a long time fan of Fire Pro Wrestling (my brother just hooked up the Sega Saturn again, with the Japanese converter so we can play Fire Pro and All Japan next time I am down in SC), I can say that I play more Fire Pro on the PS2 than any other game. Period. More than Madden. More than NCAA Football. More than DJ Hero. I also have both versions for my GBA. I was not super happy that my DS XL doesn't let me play them, but I have no issue firing up the GBA and playing (even if it is like a 1000% harder than on a console). My wife even likes playing FPW, but she is not allowed to be Vader anymore. She was notorious for using Vader and just punching you until you feel down and locking on the Boston Crab. Over and over and over and over and over! Yes, my wife was "that player"....and she would freaking win like that to boot! Sorry to lead this topic further off ...well...topic
