06-02-08 House Show 8PM Bell Time The Greatest Bolo vs The One Man Gang The OMG flattens this local favorite very quickly. He delivers the corner avalanche early on Bolo, and he is down and in trouble. OMG stands on his fallen opponent, as the referee starts the count. He steps off of Bolo after the 2 count, breaking the pinfall. He yells to the crowd, "This is going to be you, Sting!" and he delivers the 747 and gets the easy win. The One Man Gang wins by pinfall. The Midnight Express (c) with Jim Cornette vs Sudden ImpactThe Midnight Express accepted this match, because they had something to prove vs a local team they had lost to a few weeks ago. The Express dominated this match from the opening bell. They had SI Black trapped in the ring throughout the whole match, making quick tags. The Express hit the VEG-O-MATIC, but amazingly SI Black kicked out. Another quick tag, and the EXPRESS then hit the ROCKET LAUNCHER for the easy win. The Midnight Express wins by pinfall Tully Blanchard vs Jeff JarrettBoth men seemed up for this one as they both traded moves back and forth throughout the contest. The action spills out onto the floor as they continue to do battle. Tully tries to get back into the ring, and Jarrett smashes his guitar into the back of Blanchard, and the referee calls for the bell. Tully Blanchard wins by DQRicky Steamboat vs Ivan KoloffRicky Steamboat comes out like a ball of fire in a classic speed vs power match-up. Steamboat hits several dropkicks on Koloff, and Koloff is completely out of it. Steamboat signals he is heading for the top rope, hits the TOP ROPE BODY BLOCK and picks up the win. Ricky Steamboat wins by pinfallOle Anderson vs Terry TaylorA really good match that saw several momentum changes. Taylor hit his FIVE ARM on 2 occasions, but Anderson managed to kick out. After the second one, Ole became very upset and started pounding on Taylor, but Taylor would just not lose. 6 tokens later and a FALLING FACE SLAM to finally put Taylor away. Ole Anderson wins by pinfall.Main Event-Winner gets shot at SMW Tag Titles on Friday: Bar Room Brawlers (Crusher and Dick The Bruiser) vs The Black Panthers (Ahmed Johnson and Tony Atlas) w/ Mike Jones
A wild contest that saw both Dick The Bruiser and Ahmed Johnson take severe beatings in this one. A lot of fighting outside the ring, and the referee has seen enough when Ahmed Johnson hits The Crusher with a quarter barrel of beer that The Crusher had carried to the ring. The Bar Room Brawlers win by DQ and are the #1 Contenders!Thank you all for coming to the show. Drive Home Safely!

06-03-08 House Show 8PM Bell Time Before the ring announcer can announce the match, the One Man Gang heads to the ring. OMG: Listen up you pieces of trash! And Horowitz, don't wet yourself, what you are getting tonight is nothing in comparison to what Sting will feel. Phase 3 has come upon us in our quest to destroy Sting. This man will definitely soften up Sting, and it will be the easiest championship I have ever won. Take a glimpse into your future Stinger, it won't be pretty. Meet the Mighty Typhoon! (an enormous man walks down to the ring, and he looks very determined to dismantle Horowitz. A stunned Horowitz looks across the ring at almost 800 pounds of beef starring at him.) Barry Horowitz vs Typhoon w/ One Man GangBarry Horowitz started fast in this match, getting several moves in on a stunned Typhoon. The OMG had the mic on the whole match, yelling instructions to Typhoon, telling him to finish him already. Horowitz was on a roll, and the crowd was stunned. But Barry didn't know when to quit. He slapped Typhoon across the face, and that angered the big man. Typhoon went on a roll, hitting 2 power slams, and even hit a death jump off the top rope, resulting in only a 2 count. But it was only temporary as Typhoon delivers the BIG SPLASH, and squashes Horowitz like a bug. At the end of the match, Typhoon grabs the mic from the OMG, and challenges Sting to a match this Friday at the Big House show. Typhoon wins by pinfall.Big Bubba Rogers w/ Jim Cornette vs Bullet Bob ArmstrongBullet Bob makes his SMW debut as he goes 1 on 1 with the big man Bubba Rogers. Armstrong looked impressive in the early going, really taking it to Rogers. Armstrong delivers some devastating moves, and Rogers is in big trouble. Bullet Bob locks in the SLEEPER HOLD, and Cornette jumps up on the apron to distract Armstrong. Cornette throws Rogers a billy club, and at this point Bubba has had enough. Wham! he clubs Armstrong, and he drops like a bag of hammers. Rogers goes for the cover, and Armstrong kicks out. Bubba went on to slam Bullet Bob into the ringpost, as well as hit him with the club 3 more times. The referee must have been blind in this one. Bubba hits the AVALANCHE and finally gets the 3 count. Armstrong fought valiantly in his debut, and left the ring in a bloody mess. Big Bubba Rogers wins by pinfall.SMW TV Champion Arn Anderson vs Tommy Rogers (non-title)Arn Anderson looking for a tune-up for his big title defense vs the Main Event winner on tonight's card. A back and forth match that saw Rogers really taking it to the TV champ. Rogers hits a series of dropkicks, and The Enforcer is in deep trouble. Ole Anderson came down from the dressing room, and distracts Rogers. Arn comes up behind him and smashes Rogers with a big elbow. Arn decides to throw Tommy to the floor. He goes through the ropes to go after his opponent, but Rogers pulled him out of the ring and smashed him into the steel post. The referee then DQ's Rogers. Arn Anderson wins by DQ."Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs Paul Jones #1Paul Jones came out to the ring area, and barked at the fans telling them there was a reason he was #1. And if anyone wanted to challenge him from the back, that he would show them why. Out comes Ric Flair! Flair is on fire from the start, chopping away on Jones. He knocks Jones to the floor, and goes for the PIN WITH ROPES. He picks up the quick 3 count. Scott Norton comes down the runway and makes sure no furthur damage is done to Jones. Does this mean that Norton has joined Paul Jones' army? Ric Flair wins by pinfall.Kendo Nagasaki (debut) vs. Bobby FultonKendo looked determined to win his SMW debut, and was willing to win by any means necessary. Shots delivered to the throat of Fulton had him reeling, as well as a huge shot with the kendo stick. Fulton regained control, and went for a deathjump. Nagasaki moved out of the way, as Fulton crashed to the mat. Fulton turns to come back at him, but gets hit in the face with the GREEN MIST. Fulton drops to the ground, but manages to kick out. Kendo waits for Fulton to come back up, and then delivers the KENDO KICK and gets the win. Kendo Nagasaki wins by pinfall.Main Event-Winner gets a shot at Arn Anderson's TV Title on Smoky Mountain Saturday TV: "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes vs Scott NortonThe Dream was on fire in this one early, out maneuvering Norton, but not doing any real damage. That was until Rhodes hit the BIONIC ELBOW, and Norton was in real trouble. Rhodes went on to hit the FLIP FLOP AND FLY on 2 occasions, and a huge running lariat. He goes for the cover, and Paul Jones heads to the ring. Rhodes grabs Jones and smashes Norton's and Jones' heads together. Jones falls out of the ring. Dusty applies the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK, and Norton cannot reach the ropes and is forced to submit. Dusty Rhodes wins by submission and is the #1 contender to the SMW TV Title! After the match, Jones crawls back into the ring and assaults the celebrating Rhodes. Jones and Norton double team Rhodes, and he is getting whooped. Sting comes out from the dressing room and makes the save, chasing Jones and Norton back to the dressing room. Sting raises Dusty's hand in victory, and then grabs the mic. Sting: OMG, I have had just about enough of you, your boss, and whoever else you want to throw at the Stinger. Typhoon, I accept your challenge for this Friday night, and I will show you why I am the SMW Heavyweight Champion! (Sting howls into the microphone, and the crowd goes wild.) Thank you for coming, drive home safely! And don't forget to stop by the ticket booth and pick up your tickets for this Friday's big show!

06-06-08 FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS (BIG HOUSE SHOW) 8PM Bell Time (Commissioner King heads to the ring.) King: WOW! Look at all the fans here in Smoky Mountain Wrestling! I want to thank all of you for staying loyal during all the management changes in the SMW. I hope to bring you as much and more great wrestling action as the commissioners before me. At this time, I am proud to announce the host of Smoky Mountain Saturday, and my right hand man in the SMW, "Big" Jim Hess! (Jim Hess heads to the ring.) King: Wanted to let you know that you have done a great job in your career in the SMW, and I would be honored if you continued to work here...... Hess: There is no other place I would rather be than in Smoky Mountain Wrestling! The place for the biggest and brightest stars. And don't forget to tune in tomorrow morning for Smoky Mountain Saturday!!! King: This is where I step aside and let Big Jim do what he does best! Good to have you back in the SMW, and thank you fans again for your continuing support! (Crowd cheers as Commissioner King leaves the ring. Hess: Now that we have all that stuff out of the way, lets head to the ring!!! Ivan Koloff vs Terry TaylorKoloff started off displaying his power advantage delivering big blows, but could not put Taylor away. Koloff eventually had enough of Taylor and went to the chain. Koloff clobbers Taylor with the chain, drawing a lot of blood. Referee immediately disqualifies Koloff. Terry Taylor wins by disqualification.Bullet Bob Armstrong vs Big Bubba Rogers w/ Jim CornetteThe Bullet started out really fast in this one, clobbering Rogers througout the match. Cornette distracted and interfered throughout the match. Armstrong really punished Rogers, causing him to bleed, and eventually pinned him with a big atomic drop. After the match, Cornette tossed Rogers his tennis racket, but Armstrong made the catch instead! He clobbers Rogers with it, and knocked him out of the ring. Rogers had to be helped from the ring in this one, he looked hurt pretty badly in this one. Bullet Bob Armstrong wins by pinfall.Bob Armstrong heads back down the aisle when he is stopped by Jim Hess. Hess: That was some match there Bullet. A nice win. But why did you attack Rogers after the bell? He was bloodied and beaten! Bullet: You know, Big Jim. It was the heat of the moment. He attempted to hit me with a foreign object, and he got it right in the kisser! It feels good to beat Rogers this time, especially after a narrow loss last time. Hess: Fair enough Bob, lets head back to the ring for more action! (Ric Flair and the rest of the Four Horseman come up behind Big Jim, but he doesnt see them right away.) Flair: WOOOOOOOOOOO! The Nature Boy and the Four Horseman are back in SMW! BIIIG JIIIIM, tonight after Tully and I win our matches, we are going to get in our private limo, and we are going to party all night long! WOOOOOOO! Hess: Tully, you have a pretty tough opponent in Jeff Jarrett tonight. And don't forget you have to deal with Paul Jones as well. Tully: You know something Hess. I am going to take Jarrett apart tonight. And Jones too. I have the utmost confidence in my ability as a singles competitor, and I will prove that to Jarrett tonight! And I am so confident, I am going to handle this one myself guys. You can take the night off in this one. Ole: Good thing you have that confidence Tully because besides beating Jarret tonight, we have decided to let you represent the Horseman in the M.A.T. Tournament that takes place on June 15th! Now you go out there and show what it means to be a Horseman! Hess: So you are saying that the other 3 Horsemen will not be at ringside for this one, or will be involved in any way? Blanchard: Are you deaf Hess? Thats exactly what I said. WOOOOOOOOOOOO! Flair: Don't ever do that again. Hess: Yeah there is only one man that..... Flair: WOOOOOOOOO! Hess: I should have seen that one coming....... Let's head to the ring! Tully Blanchard vs Jeff Jarrett w/ Paul Jones A back and forth match that saw a lot of big moves landed. Tully hits the SLINGSHOT SUPLEX and goes for the cover. Paul Jones distracts Blanchard and he runs at Jones. Jones and the referee begin to argue. Meanwhile Jarrett has somewhat recovered and he grabbed his guitar and nailed Blanchard with it! He throws whats left of the the guitar out of the ring, applies the figure four leglock. Blanchard could not get to the ropes, and is forced to give up. Jeff Jarrett wins by submission.(The camera pans back to the locker room, and it shows the other Horseman looking disgusted at Blanchard losing. Ole says to the other Horsemen that Blanchard could have used some help in that one.) "Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs Scott Norton w/ Paul JonesThe Horsemen and Scott Norton have gone way back in their dislike for each other, and this one was no exception. Flair starts the match working on the legs, and chopping the big man down to size. Jones, sensing his man was in trouble, interferes in the match, causing Norton to take control. Ole Anderson comes down to ringside and clobbers Jones with a lead pipe! Jones is down and hurt. Flair then takes back control of the match, and applies the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Norton manages to get to the ropes on the first attempt, but once Flair got it on the second time, it was all she wrote. Ric Flair wins by submission.Hess: Wow Flair that was a big win! Ole: Paul Jones, that lead pipe was a little message to Scott Norton, and whoever else you unleash on the Horsemen. You mess with us, we will take you out. We always got each others back. Hess: What about Blanchard and his match before? Flair: BIIIIIIG JIIIIM! WOOOOOOOO! The Nature Boy wins again, and he is on a roll. We don't have time for all your foolish questions. We have a limo filled with expensive champagne and beautiful women. Hess: But what about.... Flair: WOOOOOOOOOOOO! Arn and Ole pull Flair away from the interview. Flair: WOOOOOOO! SMW Tag Team Champions Midnight Express w/ Jim Cornette vs The Bar Room BrawlersThe match started out with Dick The Bruiser pounding on Eaton. Some quick tags by the Brawlers, and it looked like there was going to be new SMW Tag Team Champions. But out of nowhere, The Express hit a pair of Flapjacks on the Bruiser, and he is in big trouble. The Express delivers the ROCKET LAUNCHER on Bruiser, and he is in trouble. The Crusher goes in and makes the save. The referee tries to get the Crusher out of the ring, but he is having a hard time. Meanwhile, Jim Cornette tosses Lane his tennis racket, and he clobbers Bruiser with it. By the time the referee turned around, Lane had thrown the racket out of the ring, and the Bruiser was being pinned. 1-2-3 and the Express screw the Brawlers again! The Midnight Express win by pinfall and are still SMW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS.Hess: Cornette, how do you justify that win? Cornette: What do you mean? It was a win, fair and square, and there isn't a thing that anyone can do about it. Hess: That reminds me, I have a message for you. A stipulation was made a couple of weeks ago that still hasn't been fulfilled. So next Friday Night Fights, you and Big Bubba Rogers will be taking on The Bar Room Brawlers! (Cornette and the Express are very angry about the news, and Cornette grabs the mic.) Cornette: It's not fair I tell you! Its not fair! I am not a wrestler, I am a manager! (Camera goes back to the ring, and sees the Bar Room Brawlers with a huge smile on their face, knowing they will finally get their hands on Cornette!) SMW Heavyweight Champion Sting vs Typhoon w/ OMG The crowd goes absolutely wild as Sting enters the ring and holds up the SMW belt! Typhoon attacks the Stinger before the bell and we are underway! Typhoon clobbers Sting at the beginning, and is really working him over. Sting finally takes control of the match, and applies his SCORPION DEATHLOCK. The One Man Gang enters the ring, and clobbers Sting with his chain! The referee disqualifies Typhoon. The Gang and Typhoon hammer on Sting, when Dusty Rhodes starts to come up the runway to make the save. Sting wins by disqualification and retains the SMW Heavyweight Title.Robed Mystery Man: (over the mic.) Thats enough boys, leave him be, he has had enough. FOR NOW! Very soon, the Stinger will be stung by the One Man Gang, and he will be the new SMW Heavyweight Champion!) (crowd boos) (OMG hits Sting once more for good measure, and he and Typhoon leave the ring holding their hands in the air.) Rhodes is tending to Sting in the ring. "Big" Jim Hess heads to the ring. Hess: I have an announcement for all to hear. Next week on Friday Night Fights, The One Man Gang will meet Sting for the SMW Heavyweight Championship! And it will take place inside a 15 ft high STEEL CAGE! (crowd goes wild.) Robed Mystery Man: (over the mic.) And Sting, this is the end of the road for you!!!! My plan has come to be, and your day of DOOM will be next Friday! The show ends as the Mystery Man laughs very evil into the mic. Sting and Rhodes are seen in the ring, trying to figure out who this mysterious robed man is. (end of show)

The biggest stars and the biggest brawls, the biggest hits and the biggest falls. Non-stop action no messin' around, pretty soon we're comin' to your town. The way you like it way it used to be...Smokey Mountain Wrestling's on TV."
"Big" Jim Hess is standing in the studio, kicking off SMW TV! Hess: Hello, and welcome to the return of Smoky Mountain Saturday! It is so great to be back, I am your host "Big" Jim Hess, and what a show we had for you last night. (Clips are shown of the SMW Heavyweight Title mat ch between Sting and Typhooon.) I am pleased to be standing with at this time, the SWF Heavyweight Champion, Sting as well as "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes! Sting: (howls) Nice to see you again, Big Jim! Its great to be on the top of the heap in the SMW! Hess: That was some match last night, and you took a heck of a beating. What are your thoughts on your upcoming match with the One Man Gang next Friday? Sting: Well, Jim its like this. The bigger they come, the harder they fall. And at Friday Night Fights, I have full confidence I will retain my SMW gold! Hess: What about all the sneak attacks? And the mysterious robed man that seems to be ordering all these giants to destroy you? Sting: I know I have seen that man before. I just can't place him. The demeanor on which he acts is very demonic and evil. But it comes with the territory. Everyone wants to be the SMW champion, so I have a lot to beware of. And this Friday, OMG, in a 15 ft steel cage, it will be you that will be destroyed! (Sting howls) Hess: Thanks Sting, and now to you Dusty. You have a long history of feuding with the Horsemen. Today, in the main event, you get to take on SMW TV Champion Arn Anderson! Rhodes: Let me tell you something Jimmy boy! The Horsemen are no strangers to the American Dream, and the Dream is no strangers to the Horsemen. By the end of Smoky Mountain Saturday, I will become again the TV Champion! Then all the fans of SMW get to see a real champion every Saturday Morning! Hess: Thanks guys. When we come back, the myserious Kendo Nagasaki takes on Barry Horowitz in our opening bout! (commercials) Barry Horowitz vs Kendo Nagasaki The match was fast and furious, as Nagasaki unleashed a series of kicks and punches that paralyzed Horowitz. Nagasaki then attempts get Horowitz with the GREEN MIST, but he misses and hits the referee! The referee is blinded and dazed, and immediately disqualifies Nagasaki. Barry Horowitz wins by disqualification.Hess: Wow, that was some match! My guests at this time are none other than The Bar Room Brawlers! Guys, you took a tough loss last night, but there is some light at the end of the tunnel..... Crusher: You know something Big Jim? You are absolutely right! We finally get to get our hands on that scrawny little geek Jim Cornette! He has cost us our SMW Tag Titles on 2 occasions, and this time he will be on the end of a beatdown! Dick The Bruiser: You got that right! And Big Bubba Rogers, the bodyguard and stooge of Cornette. It looks like you had some problems with Bullet Bob last night! Well on Friday night, you are gonna wish that you retired once the Brawlers get done with you! Hess: Thanks for the interview guys, and good luck at your big match on Friday. My guests at this time are the Black Panther Party, Ahmed Johnson, Tony Atlas, and their manager Mike Jones! Jones: A couple of weeks ago, you had the nerve of asking us what we meant by oppression in the SMW..... Hess: I still don't know what you are referring to. Jones: Don't play dumb with me, Hess. That #1 contender match that we were put in was a complete joke. The Bar Room Brawlers, everyone's favorite team, wins by DQ and still gets the title match! If we would have won that match by DQ, it would have been a whole different story. We cant have a match end like this, blah blah blah, and there would have been a rematch for the spot. Hess: I can't believe what I am hearing. Tony, Ahmed, what are your thoughts on this? Jones: (pushing the mic away from his wrestlers) You talk to me, Hess! Now instead of getting a title match, we have to wrestle the Craptastics on Smoky Mountain Saturday. My men do their talking in the ring. Interview over. (Jones pushes the mic into Big Jim's chest, and heads to the ring.) The Black Panther Party w/ Mike Jones vs The FantasticsA very good match that saw the Black Panther Party assert themselves in this one. Back and forth it went. Johnson hit the PEARL RIVER PLUNGE on Fulton. Rogers made the save. Johnson was clearly frustrated that he couldnt put Rogers away. Rogers makes the tag, and Fulton is on fire. He has Johnson reeling, but eventually Johnson blocks a hip toss and makes the tag to Atlas. Atlas comes in the ring like a house of fire and pounds on Fulton. Atlas hits a RUNNING SPEAR, and goes for the cover. Johnson runs into the ring and tackles Rogers trying to make the save. 1-2-3 and the Panthers win! Johnson delivers a PEARL RIVER PLUNGE on Fulton after the bell. Rogers grabs a steel chair from the ringside area, and clears the ring. The Black Panther Party leaves the ring very proud of what they accomplished. Black Panther Party wins by pinfall.(commerical) (Highlights are shown of both the Tag Team Title match, and the match between Bullet Bob and Big Bubba Rogers.) Hess: At this time, joining me is Jim Cornette and Big Bubba Rogers! Cornette: Shut your mouth Hess. This is a travesty! I am a manager, not a wrestler! I don't want to be in a match..... Bubba: Don't worry about it, boss. I got this one. And I am not done with you either Bullet Bob. Not by a long shot...... (Rogers and Cornette leave the interview area.) Hess: Well it is time for our main event! The SMW TV Champion Arn Anderson takes on Dusty Rhodes! Let's head to the..... (Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard interrupt Hess.) Arn: Not so fast there. I got something to say. Rhodes, I am going to destroy you, and there isn't a darn thing you can do about it. (Arn slams the microphone down into the ground, and heads to the ring with Tully Blanchard.) Main Event: SMW TV Champion Arn Anderson w/ Tully Blanchard vs Dusty Rhodes.Arn Anderson starts off very well in this one, hitting several moves on Rhodes. Rhodes catches a boot to the gut, and spins Arn around. Rhodes then delives 2 BIONIC ELBOWS, and has Arn staggered. Rhodes hits the Stardust Piledriver and goes for the pin. Blanchard runs into the ring, and clobbers Rhodes, causing the DQ. Blanchard then takes Rhodes and throws him out of the ring. Arn seems disgusted that Blanchard got him disqualified, and was seen in a heated discussion with Blanchard as the show left the air. Dusty Rhodes wins by disqualification. (Arn Anderson retains the title.)Hess: Well, thats all the time we have for this week. See you next week on Smoky Mountain Saturday! (end of show)

06-09-08 House Show 8PM Bell Time The Greatest Bolo vs Kendo Nagasaki Another match that Nagasaki dominates throughout, then his evilness does him in. Bolo started to make a small comeback, but Nagasaki takes control, and heads to the corner for his kendo stick. He nails Bolo with it, and the referee disqualifies him. The Greatest Bolo wins by disqualification. The Fantastics vs Sudden ImpactActually a pretty good match that saw the local talent get some moves in. SI Blue got the tag in and started hammering on Rogers. Rogers is seemingly groggy. SI Blue goes up to the top rope and attempts a flying body press. He hits it, but his momemtum makes them flip, and Rogers ends up on top. SI Black tries to make the save, but is cut off by Fulton. 1-2-3 and the Fantastics pick up the win. T he Fantastics win by pinfall.Scott Norton vs Ivan KoloffA battle of 2 powerhouses in this one. Norton seeking revenge for Koloff trying to injure him with his chain a few weeks back. A pretty good match that saw several reversals and power moves by both men. Ivan Koloff locked in the RUSSIAN BEAR HUG, but Norton managed to get to the ropes. Koloff, obviously frustrated, nailed Norton with his chain on 2 occasions, but Norton would not go down. Battered and bloody, Norton manages to recover, delivering a big JURASSIC BREAKER and picks up the victory. Scott Norton wins by pinfall.Ole Anderson vs Ricky SteamboatA pretty good match with a bad ending. A lot of back and forth action, that saw Steamboat dominated inside the ring, and Ole Anderson dominate outside the ring. Ole grabs the ringbell and tries to hit Steamboat with it, but Steamboat kicks Ole in the stomach, takes the ringbell away from him, and clobbers him with it! The referee immediately calls for the DQ, and the fans are not happy with this decision. Ole Anderson wins by disqualification.Big Bubba Rogers vs Dick The BruiserA short and not sweet match that saw most of the action outside the ring. Dick The Bruiser tries to injure Rogers early, hitting him with a steel chair causing a DQ. Dick tells Bubba that the chairshot was a message, and that he should expect more of the same at Friday Night Fights. Big Bubba Rogers wins by disqualification. Main Event: "Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs Jeff Jarrett w/ Paul JonesWow, what a match! The match starts out with Jarrett taking control early. He hits the Alabama Jam, and goes for the cover. Flair kicks out easily, but when Flair gets to his feet Jarrett hits THE STROKE and goes for the pin again. Flair manages to get out again. Then Jarettt was in control for a lot of the match, and manages to hit THE STROKE again. Flair kicks out again.........delivers THE STROKE a 3rd time, and Flair somehow kicks out. Jarrett decides that he was going to try to put Flair away with his own hold, the figure four leglock. Ole Anderson has seen enough and he heads to the ring. Jarrett breaks the hold and clobbers Anderson, sending him sailing off the apron. A bloodied Flair (7 tokens in total) manages to pitch Jarrett out of the ring and takes control. Flair throws him back into the ring, near the ropes. Flair uses the PIN WITH ROPES, and picks up a shocking win after being so far behind. (7 tokens to 1 Token). Ric Flair wins by pinfall.Thank you all for coming, drive home safely! (end of show)

06-10-08 House Show 8PM Bell Time One Man Gang (w/ Robed Man) vs Barry HorowitzThe OMG comes into the ring with his "mentor", and looks very cocky and confident in his last match before he faces Sting for the SMW title. That may have been a mistake. The OMG started out pulverizing Horowitz, hitting his 747 SPLASH early. He goes for the cover, but Horowitz kicks out! Then the OMG gets angry and really starts pounding on Barry. He hits the flying elbow crush, and when the referee counts 2, he picks Horowitz up! He then continues to pound on Horowitz, but Horowitz finally reverses the momentum. Horowitz comes back with a vengeance, getting several moves on a shocked OMG. Horowitz applies the TEXAS CLOVERLEAF, and tries to get OMG to give up. The Robed Man jumped up on the apron and distracts Horowitz. Barry lunges at the mysterious man, but he manages to slide OMG his chain. While the referee has his back turned, OMG picks up the chain and clobbers Horowitz with it. Horowitz is out cold, but this is still not good enough for the Gang. The mystery man reaches into his pocket, and pulls out a paper shopping bag that says "Sting-The Paper Champion" on it, puts it over the head of Horowitz and then delivers a second 747 SPLASH and this time he gets the 3 count. The OMG then jestures around his giant waist where his new SMW Heavyweight Title belt is going to go after he beats Sting at Friday Night Fights. One Man Gang wins by pinfall. The Crusher vs Buff BagwellBuff Daddy is back in the SMW! He is happy to be back, and he punishes The Crusher with a series of moves. He hits the swinging neckbreaker, and goes for the pin. The Crusher manages to kick out. The Crusher manages to take control, and locks in a devastating bear hug. Scott Norton runs down to ringside, and smacks Crusher! Crusher tosses Norton out of the ring, but this gives Bagwell some time to recover and he nails the Crusher with a double arm DDT. Bagwell seemed like he was in control. He goes for a big body slam, but The Crusher manages to escape it, and he locks in the Crusher Nelson. Buff Bagwell is in the center of the ring, and is forced to submit. The Crusher wins by submission."Sweet" Stan Lane w/ Jim Cornette vs Tony Atlas w/ Mike JonesAtlas started out the match fast and furious hitting Lane with several power moves. Atlas hits the shuck and jive combo, and goes for the pin. Cornette has seen enough, and jumps up on the apron. Atlas runs over to Cornette and clobbers him, sending him tumbling onto the floor! Atlas then delivers a BIG SPLASH onto Lane and gets the 3 count. A nice win for Atlas right before his Black Panther Party take on The Midnight Express for the Tag Team titles on Friday. Tony Atlas wins by pinfall."Bullet" Bob Armstrong vs Terry TaylorA rare match that saw 2 fan favorites do battle. Probably a nice change for Bob with all the problems he has had lately with Bubba Rogers. Terry Taylor started off fast, hitting the Bullet with everything but the kitchen sink. His agility advantage was really showing early on. The match went on for several minutes with both men getting several moves in. Taylor tries to finish Armstrong off with a deathjump, but Armstrong moves out of the way and Taylor crumbles to the mat. Armstrong waits for Taylor to stand up, and then applies the SLEEPER HOLD. Taylor is not able to break the hold, and he fades away. Both men shook hands after the match after Bullet Bob was able to revive Taylor. Bullet Bob Armstrong wins by submission."Beautiful" Bobby Eaton w/ Jim Cornette vs Ahmed Johnson w/ Mike Jones A short match that saw Eaton surprisingly have his way with Johnson in this one. Eaton dominates the whole match, finishing him with a top rope elbow. Jones tried to interfere in this one, but Eaton wasnt having any of it. Eaton delivers a ALABAMA JAM after the bell, and was going up for a second one, but Atlas came down to the ring area with a steel chair and chased Eaton and Cornette away. The Black Panther Party and the Midnight Express split their singles competition matches before the big title match. "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton wins by pinfall.Main Event: "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes vs Tully BlanchardThe Dream wants more of the Horsemen, and this time its Tully. The Dream starts out pretty well in this one, hitting several moves. Cannot seem to put Tully away though. Tully finally takes control when he reaches into his tights and pulls out a foreign object. Wham! He clobbers Rhodes with it, and Rhodes goes down hard. Blanchard then goes for the cover, but Rhodes kicks out. Rhodes staggers to his feet, but its only temporary. Blanchard decides its time to go for the kill, and delivers a SLINGSHOT SUPLEX. Blanchard covers him again, and this time he gets the 3 count and a huge upset over The American Dream. Tully Blanchard wins by pinfall.Thats all for this evening, drive home safely! (end of show)

Smoky Mountain Saturday WTVK Televesion 06-14-08. 10AM Wrestling clips are shown…"Don't change that channel all that flippin' around! You're about to see the hottest show in town. The biggest stars and the biggest brawls, the biggest hits and the biggest falls. Non-stop action no messin' around, pretty soon we're comin' to your town. The way you like it way it used to be...Smoky Mountain Wrestling's on TV."
"Big" Jim Hess is standing in the studio, kicking off SMW TV! Hess: Welcome to Smoky Mountain Saturday! I'm your host Jim Hess, and wow what a week in the SMW! At this time, I would like to welcome "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig! (clips are shown from Friday Night Fights) Hess: Curt, it is good to have you back in the SMW. What was the deal wearing a mask in your first match back? Hennig: When you deal with people like the Horsemen, sometimes you have to outhorsemen the Horsemen. And that is exactly what happened Friday. It wasn't easy finding something close to The Greatest Bolo's ring attire, but it went over smoothly. By then end of the hour, I will be the new SMW TV Champion! Hess: So does this mean you are officially a member of the Paul Jones Army? Hennig: In this business you need to have people to watch your back. It is great to be reunited with Paul Jones, and whoever he brings in to help me deal with the Horsemen. Guys like Jeff Jarrett and even Buff Bagwell are just the guys I want behind me. And Paul has always done me right, and thats why I decided to stay on board. Hess: Thanks Curt, lets head to the ring.......... Terry Taylor vs Barry HorowitzTerry Taylor dominates this match, looking very good. He eventually applies the FIVE ARM and gets the win. Terry Taylor wins by pinfall. (commercials) Hess: Hello, and we are back! A nice win for Terry in our opening contest. At this time I would like to welcome the SMW Heavyweight Champion, Sting! Sting: (Howls) Big Jim! The Stinger just keeps on rolling. I should have known Kevin Sullivan was the mastermind behind all of this. And it doesnt matter who he throws at me, I will beat them all and continue to represent SMW proudly! (howls) Hess: What about this mysterious man from the orient, Kendo Nagasaki? Sting: I have had my battles with The Great Muta over the years, and Nagasaki looks similar to him. And anytime, anywhere Sullivan. I will beat you in the ring! Hess: Thank you Stinger. (Sting leaves interview area.) I would like to introduce at this time, the manager of the Black Panther Party, Mike Jones! (clips are shown of the match between the BPP and the Midnight Express.) M. Jones: You see, more oppression. The BPP gets robbed again, being disqualified in a match that should have been allowed to continue. Hess: Atlas did use a steel chair on Bobby Eaton. M. Jones: How many weeks have gone by with Cornette using his little tennis racket on people? Yet, no suspensions, no nothing. And the Midnight Express walk around here like they own the place. Hess: Well, I have been given word by the commissioners office that the BPP will be given a rematch with the Express this Friday Night! M. Jones: It is about time people start seeing stuff our way. Let's head to the ring. (Jones points at camera.) Hess: Hey, thats my line! "Bullet" Bob Armstrong vs Jeff Jarrett w/ Paul JonesBob starts out dominating the match, applying the SLEEPER HOLD on 2 occasions. After the second one, Paul Jones jumped up on the apron, and Bob broke the hold. He chased Jones outside the ring, but Jarrett tried to sneak up behind Bob and clobber him, but Bob saw him and double noggin knocked Jones and Jarrett's heads together. He throws Jarrett back into the ring, and the match continues. The action eventually spills out of the ring again, and this time Jarrett clobbers Armstrong with a chair, getting the DQ. Armstrong eventually recovers, and sees Jarrett and Jones celebrating in the ring. Armstrong quickly attacks Jones and is hammering away on him. Jarrett grabs his guitar and smashes Armstrong in the back of the head with it! "Bullet" Bob Armstrong wins by disqualification.(commercials) Hess: Hi, and we are back! Wow, what a match! It looks like the Paul Jones Army has made another enemy in Bullet Bob! It should be interesting how the Army and the Horsemen, the 2 main heel groups in SMW, settle their differences! Arn Anderson: (Interrupts Hess) You know something. The first stage of the plan happens today. Double A and the Horsemen will get some redemption, as I pin Hennig in the center of the ring. Flair: WOOOOO! BIIIIIIG JIIIIIIM! The Nature Boy, SMW Saturday, what more could you want? Bagwell got off easy compared to what you are going to get coming up here. (clips of the Bagwell/Flair match are rolled.) And Hennig, don't think for one second Ole is done with you yet. WOOOOOO! WOOOOOOO! (Arn pulls Flair away from the mic.) WOOOOO!...... Hess: Let's head to the ring for our main event....... SMW TV TITLE MATCH:"The Enforcer" Arn Anderson (c) vs "Mr. Perfect" Curt HennigHennig unloads with a series of dropkicks, and is dominating the match. Hennig hits a ROLLING NECK SNAP, and looks like he is going to finish off The Enforcer. Flair and Ole Anderson come into the ring, and Ole hits Hennig in the face with a Singapore cane! Hennig goes down hard, and the referee disqualifies Anderson. Curt Hennig wins by disqualification. Arn Anderson retains the TV Title!(Ole grabs the mic while standing on Hennig.) Ole: Flair was right. I am not done with you, not by a longshot. This Singapore cane represents what I have in store for you. 06-16-08 House Show 8PM Bell Time The Greatest Bolo vs Ole AndersonOle Anderson looked like a man on a mission, quickly disposing of Bolo in this one. Ole hits the FALLING FACE SLAM early in the match, and its all over. Ole grabs the kendo stick out of Bolo's corner, raises it in the air and clobbers Bolo with it! Ole then grabs the mic, and says this was only a sample of what he has in store for Hennig this Friday! Ole Anderson wins by pinfall.Sudden Impact vs The Black Panther Party w/ Mike JonesWow, the Sudden Impact almost pulled up their 2nd major upset in the SMW. A lot of quick tags early, and SI Blue was whooping on Tony Atlas, giving him 5 tokens, including some major damage outside of the ring! Seemed like every time Atlas would roll on L3D it was always his pin number. Anyways, Atlas finally made the tag to Ahmed Johnson, and Johnson hits the PEARL RIVER PLUNGE on SI Black to get the win. Ahmed and Mike Jones seem to be in a heated discussion after the win. The Black Panther Party wins by pinfall.Dick The Bruiser vs Ivan KoloffThis one was quite a brawl. Most of the action took place outside of the ring. Dick smashes Koloff with his own chain, and Koloff goes down hard. He applies the STOMACH CLAW, and the ref calls for the bell. The Bruiser, still irate about the match, goes and gets the chain and looks to finish off Koloff. Jeff Jarrett rolls into the ring and makes the save! What is Jarrett doing helping Koloff? This makes no sense at all. Dick The Bruiser wins by submission. The Crusher vs Scott Norton w/ Paul JonesScott Norton and Paul Jones head to the ring together, seemingly in a heated discussion. One can only assume it is about Jarrett helping out Koloff, a longtime rival of Norton in the SMW. Norton starts out fast, but the Crusher wanted it more. The Crusher manages to take control, and works on Norton. The Crusher, like his Bar Room Brawler partner, applies the STOMACH CLAW, and Norton surprisingly submits. Paul Jones was not able to break up the hold in time. The Crusher wins by submission. Main Event: Sting and Dusty Rhodes vs Kendo Nagasaki and One Man Gang w/ Kevin SullivanSting started out in the ring, set to face Nagasaki. Nagasaki decides better of this, and has the One Man Gang start instead. Sting works over the OMG, and has him in trouble. OMG takes control of the match, and while Sting is down, Sullivan orders OMG to tag in Nagasaki. Nagasaki gets a few moves in, but Sting makes the tag to the Dream! The Dream comes in all fired up, clobbering Nagasaki with a BIONIC ELBOW, sending him out of the ring. Rhodes follows after him, sees the kendo stick of Nagasaki in the corner, and clobbers Nagasaki with it. The referee DQs Rhodes, and the match ends in upset fashion. Kendo Nagasaki and One Man Gang win by disqualification.(end of show)

06-17-08 House Show 8PM Bell Time Big Bubba Rogers vs Barry HorowitzBig Bubba Rogers dominates most of the action, but gets carried away. Horowitz throws Rogers out of the ring. When Horowitz comes out after hm, Rogers clobbers him with the ringbell outside the ring. The referee disqualifies Rogers. Barry Horowitz wins by disqualification.Ricky Steamboat vs SMW TV Champion Arn Anderson (non-title)A back and forth match that saw Ricky gain control of the match late. Several trips outside of the ring decided this one, as Arn Anderson tries a form of a body avalanche, but Steamboat moves and Arn hits the ringpost! Ricky tosses Arn back into the ring, delivers the DOUBLE CHOP, and picks up the win. Ricky Steamboat wins by pinfall. The Midnight Express (c) w/ Jim Cornette vs The FantasicsWhat a great match. The Fantastics came to fight in this one. Back and forth the match went with high-flying moves. Cornette interfered a couple of times, fights outside the ring, great match. Tommy Rogers hist the ROCKET LAUNCHER on Bobby Eaton to finally get the win. Cornette is not happy about this ending. The Fantastics win by pinfall.Curt Hennig w/ Paul Jones vs Tully Blanchard w/ Arn AndersonWhen Curt Hennig and Paul Jones are announced, they are greeted by a rousing ovation. Paul Jones is kind of stunned by the whole thing, but Hennig has been one of the most popular wrestlers in SMW for quite awhile now, and takes it in stride. A really good match that saw both men deliver their finishers. Tully Blanchard had a great showing in this one, hitting several moves. Hennig hit his HENNIG PLEX on Tully, but Arn interfered in the match and broke it up. This allowed Tully to take control. Tully then hit his SLINGSHOT SUPLEX, but Paul Jones interfered in this one. Arn went over to the other side of the ring, and chased Jones back to the dressing room. Hennig takes control of the match, hits the HENNIG PLEX a second time, and this time gets the win. Both men were bleeding in this one. (Hennig 4 tokens, Tully 6 tokens.) Curt Hennig wins by pinfall.Main Event"Nature Boy" Ric Flair with Arn Anderson vs Jeff Jarrett w/ Paul JonesThe fans are very loud at the start of this one as well, cheering loudly for Jeff Jarrett, and booing very loudly at the Nature Boy. The match was very good, Jeff Jarrett hitting THE STROKE about halfway through the match, but Flair kicks out. Jarrett tries to put Flair away on a couple of occasions with the figure four leglock, but both times Flair gets to the ropes. Flair tries to use his PIN WITH ROPES, but Jones knocks Flair's feet off the ropes, breaking the fall. Arn yet again chases him back to the dressing room. Flair applies his FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK, but Jarrett manages to get to the ropes. Jarrett is limping around the ring, when Flair hits the KNEE CLIP, and Jarrett goes down hard. Flair applies the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK again, and its all over. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair wins by submission.(end of show)
