Dark Matches
Dark Bout #1: Timber vs. Sean Davis Timber destroyed Sean, winning via COR at 4:00, when Davis couldn't get back into the ring after a huge piledriver.
Dark Bout #2: Dupae Rupa vs. Spymaster I - The former TV champion looked good here and took the win at 6:17 with his Belgian Waffle.
PPV Bouts
Bout #1: CCW TV Title Match Erick Stevens vs. Jack Swagger (c) (w/ Sweeney) - Stevens was dominating the match and looked to be well on his way to winning, when Sweeney came into the ring and caused the ref to call for the DQ at 8:13. Sweeney and Swagger celebrated, as Stevens begged the ref to reconsider the DQ. The ref, seeing that Sweeney and Swagger had this planned, called for the bell to restart the match! After the restart, Stevens came out fighting. Stevens used an Exploder Suplex to win and take the gold at 16:02.
Bout #2: Norvell Austin vs. Reid Flair - Norvell used a moonsault to down the young up-and-comer at 14:10.
Bout #3: Shimmering Star Championship Match Candie vs. Sara del Ray (c) (w/ Sweeney) - Sara decimated Candie, using the Royal Butterfly to retain at 2:16.
Bout #4: Shimmering Star Championship Match Heather Devine vs. Sara del ray (c) (w/ Sweeney) - After that warm-up, Sara demanded another challenger. Heather got off a few quick moves, but Sara was having none of that and started pounding on Heather. Sara won at 4:47 with her Royal Butterfly.
Bout #5: Arik Cannon vs. Robert Fuller (w/ Miss Sylvia) - The bad blood started to boil from the start here, as these two truly dislike each other. Fuller survived several near falls early and was on his heels. Arik came in, but Fuller used a loaded fist to slow him down. Fuller used his Loaded Boot to take the win at 17:20.
Bout #6: Brodie Lee (w/ Jimmy Jacobs) vs. Tyler Black - Black used his speed to hurt the big man, while Lee used his power to dominate Tyler. Black got on a roll and had Brodie in a bad position. Lee grabbed the ref to complain about a phantom eye gouge, as Black when to shoot off the ropes. Jacobs nailed Tyler with a chair across the back, sending Tyler staggering forward into Lee's Big Boot. Lee scored the pinfall at 12:17.
Main Event
Bout #7: CCW Heavyweight Championship Match Adam Pearce (w/ Sweeney) vs. Bryan Danielson (c) - These two have met and battled many times before. Pearce has said that this will be the night that he takes the gold away from The American Dragon. Danielson, as usual, said that he will do his talking in the ring. A great match unfolded here, as both men looked impressive to start the match. Danielson had Pearce in Cattle Mutilation several times, but Pearce was able to use the ropes to escape. Danielson kicked out of Pearce's Jumping Tombstone twice. This match was crazy and it was Pearce's Superfly splash that allowed him to score the 3-count at 21:10 to capture the gold just a split second before Danielson could kick out.

5/24/09: Due to the current financial situation of Cove Championship Wrestling and it's management, CCW will be suspending operations until a time when they can re-open their doors and put forth the quality product that they have in the past.

Bout #1: Rocky Mountain Thunder vs. The Plague - The Plague used his Scorpion Deathlock following a Diving Headbutt to win at 3:10.
Bout #2: Aja Kong vs. Trish Stratus - Kong used a top rope elbow drop (!) to win at 7:20.
Bout #3: Brett Major vs. Bob Roop - The veteran Roop used his experience to dominate Brett and won at 5:02 with a spinning neckbreaker.
Bout #4: NOTM & PNW Unified Championship Match Vampiro vs. CM Punk (c) - Punk was able to retain his gold at 16:57 with his Go To Sleep.
Bout #5: 2 out of 3 Fall Match Arik Cannon vs. Robert Fuller (w/ Miss Sylvia) -Fall #1: Arik used the Glimmering Warlock to score the opening fall at 8:10. -Fall #2: Fuller used a roundhouse right to take the second fall at 21:16. -Fall #3: Arik takes the final fall and the match at 24:02 with his Glimmering Warlock.
Bout #6: Norvell Austin vs. Dakota Darsow - Austin used a Flying Head Dive to take the win at 10:28.
Main Event Bout #7: NIWA International Championship Match Bryan Danielson vs. Satoshi Kojima (c) - Kojima surprised Danielson with his Koji Cutter at 14:33 to retain the gold.

Bout #2: Yuji Nagata vs. Derrick Neikirk - Yuji won this great battle at 25:16 with his Exploder Suplex.
Bout #3: Aja Kong vs. Lita - Aja's power was too much for the faster Lita, as she won with her Uraken at 17:46.
Bout #4: Original Midnight Express vs. Reid Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Jr, & Dakota Darsow - Norvell scored the pinfall on Darsow at 18:27 with his Flying Head Dive.
Bout #5: BJ Whitmer vs. Bob Roop - Bob looked great again, as he used his Suplex to win at 7:00
Main Event Bout #6: NIWA International vs. NOTM/PNW Championship Match Satoshi Kojima (INT) vs. CM Punk (NOTM/PNW) - This match was all action from the opening bell, as Kojima used his Crazy Crash Dynamite to win the bout and unify the belts at 19:18.

Bout #1: Nigel McGuinness vs. Rocky Mountain Thunder - Nigel looked great against the big man, as he nailed his Jawbreaker Lariat to take the win at 9:03.
Bout #2: Original Midnight Express vs. Reid Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Jr, & Dakota Darsow - Steamboat was able to score the win with his Butterfly Suplex on Condrey at 10:03.
Bout #3: NIWA International Triple Crown Erick Stevens vs. Satoshi Kojima (c) - Kojima, coming off a huge win, wastes no time going at Stevens. Kojima scores the win at 7:12 with his Koji Cutter.
Bout #4: BJ Whitmer vs. Bob Roop - Roop had to pull out all of his tricks to down the young Whitmer at 16:19 with his piledriver.
Main Event Bout #5: Toshiaki Kawada vs. Vladamir Kozlov - This match was a true battle between these two titans. Kawada could not score the win with his Powerbomb, so he used a flying elbow drop at 22:09 to win.

Bout #1: Rocky Mountain Thunder vs. Mike Quackenbush - Rocky shocked everyone, including Mike, as he used his Big Thunder Splash at 7:50 to take the win.
Bout #2: Rob van Dam vs. Sam Hayne - RVD looked great here, as he used a standing moonsault at 5:57.
Bout #3: CCW Tag Team Championship Danny Doring & Roadkill vs. Shane Douglas & Ted DiBiase, Jr (c) - Douglas and DiBiase look great again here, as Shane scored the pinfall on Doring at 13:19 after his Belly-to-Belly Suplex.
Bout #4: Dakota Darsow vs. Randy Rose - This rivalery has been flaring, especially between these two. Rose took the win with a flying knee off the ropes at 20:42.
Bout #5: Taz vs. Justice - The human-suplex-machine threw around the younger Justice, as he scored the win at 12:17 with his Taz-plex.
Main Event Bout #6: NIWA International Triple Crown Nigel McGuinness vs. Satoshi Kojima (c) - This match was easily a match of the year canidate, as these two left it all on the mat. Kojima nearly scored the win with his Crazy Dynamite Crash, but Nigel was able to escape. Nigel scored several near falls on the champion, bringing the fans to their feet each time. In the end, Kojima caught Nigel with his Koji Cutter at 46:19 to retain the gold. The fans gave the two men a standing ovation at the end.

Bout #1: CCW Tag Team Title Match George South & Buff Bagwell vs. Shane Douglas & Ted DiBiase, Jr (c) - The champs look great again here, as they wasted no time taking out South and Bagwell. Shane used his Belly-to-Belly Suplex to win at 6:16 on South.
Bout #2: The Original Midnight Express vs. Dakota Darsow & Ricky Steamboat, Jr - The tension grows more and more with each match, as this one quickly broke down into a huge brawl. The ref called for the DQ when Rose dropped Dakota throat first across the guardrail at 4:51. It took the whole security team to separate these two teams.
Bout #3: Rob van Dam vs. Harker Dirge - RVD again dominated Dirge and had this match well in hand, until the ref actually called for the DQ at 6:39 after RVD used his van Daminator. RVD was shocked with the DQ.
Bout #4: Mike Quackenbush vs. Rocky Thunder Mountain - Mike looked great here in this rematch, as he won at 2:01 with his Quackendriver II.
Special Added Match Bout #5: Texas Death Match Randy Rose vs. Dakota Darsow - This match was fast paced and intense. Rose scored the win with a cross body block at 7:34.
Main Event Bout #6: NIWA International Triple Crown Dr. Wagner, Jr vs. Satoshi Kojima (c) - Coming off of the last card's match of the year canidate, we were treated to another one this time! Great back and forth action; near falls & submissions; and just great wrestling. Wagner locked on a figure four leglock to win at 37:44 and become only the second International champion.

Bout #1: CCW Tag Team Title Match The Young Bucks vs. Shane Douglas & Ted DiBiase, Jr (c) - The champions were given a run for their money here by these young, up-and-coming stars used their insane speed and double-team moves to nearly down Ted. Shane's experience allowed the champs to retain, as he nailed Matt with his Belly-to-Belly Suplex at 12:56.
Bout #2: Rob van Dam vs. Harker Dirge - RVD was not happy with the last shows DQ, but that did not slow him down. RVD used his van Daminator at 11:09 to take the win. This ref seemed to be more in line with the way RVD rolls.
Bout #3: Rocky Mountain Thunder vs. Mike Quackenbush - The trilogy ends here tonight, as these two men both wanted to take the win. They laid it all on the line, but in the end it was Mike with his Quackendriver III at 19:15.
Bout #4: Cage Match Randy Rose vs. Dakota Darsow - The bad blood continues to boil up here, as they battled each other in the cage. Dakota used his Implant DDT at 12:27 to down Rose.
Main Event Bout #5: NIWA International Triple Crown Satoshi Kojima vs. Dr. Wagner, Jr (c) - Their last match was an instant classic and this one was on the same level. Great action, as these two went full out the whole time. Wagner was able to score the win with his Wagner Driver at 20:17 to keep his gold.

Bout #1: CCW Heavyweight Championship George South vs. Adam Pearce (c) (w/ Sweeney) - Pearce defends his title in easy fashion, as he wins at 7:16 with his Jumping Piledriver.
Bout #2: NIWA International Triple Crown Jack Swagger (w/ Sweeney) vs. Dr. Wagner, Jr (c) - Wagner looked good again, as he overcame an early attack by the All-American and slapped on his Wagner Lock for the win at 12:31.
Bout #3: 30-Minute Iron Man Match Randy Rose vs. Dakota Darsow - Rose took the first fall at 8:00 when Dakota was COR. - Rose pushed his advantage, as he took the second fall at 11:07. - Dakota surprised Rose with his Implant DDT at 12:39 to gain a fall and a breather. - Dakota nailed a big running boot at 18:27 to tie the score. - Dakota nailed him Implant DDT and the pin at 29:57 to take the win.
Dakota wins 3 falls to 2 falls.
Bout #4: Bob Roop vs Larry Sweeney - Roop destroyed Sweeney and won with a suplex 4:06.
Main Event Bout #5: CCW Tag Team Championship The Miracle Violence Connection vs. Shane Douglas & Ted DiBiase, Jr (c) - This match was absolutely brutal from the opening bell. Doc and Gordy held nothing back, but Shane and Ted were fighting for their gold. Douglas scored a Belly-to-Belly on Doc, but Gordy caught him with a huge boot that busted his nose. Gordy scored the pin on Ted at 21:50 with his Piledriver and ending the 16 month reign on the top. The crowd was stunned.

Bout #2: Magnum TA vs. Eddie Gilbert - Magnum takes the win here with his Belly-to-Belly Suplex at 7:03.
Bout #3: NIWA International Triple Crown Giant Baba vs. Dr. Wagner, Jr (c) - Wagner looked great early, but Baba used his size to his advantage and turned the bout around. Giant Baba used his Neckbreaker Drop at 10:06 to take the gold from Wagner.
Bout #4: Jack Swagger (w/ Sweeney) vs. Bob Roop - Roop showed up the younger Swagger, as he used his skill to set up his piledriver to take the win at 12:16.
Bout #5: Buff Bagwell vs. Diamond Dallas Page - DDP scored the win out of nowhere, as he nailed the Diamond Cutter at 5:05.
Main Event Bout #6: Barbed Wire Cage Match Randy Rose vs. Dakota Darsow - This was absolute bloodbath, as both men were bleeding mere moments into the match. Rose scored the pin at 13:30 with a powerslam.

Bout #1: CCW Tag Team Championship Match Buff Bagwell & Eddie Gilbert vs. The Miracle Violence Connection (c) - The new champs looked awesome in this opener, as Gordy used a Powerbomb to down Buff at 10:14.
Bout #2: Chris Hero vs. Jack Swagger (w/ Sweeney) - Hero looked good here, as he took advantage of Swagger's cold streak. Hero used his Hero's Welcome to win at 12:40.
Bout #3: Mistico vs. Dr. Wagner, Jr - A great match, as both luchadors looked to impose their will. Wagner used his Wagner Lock to win at 13:19.
Bout #4: NIWA International Triple Crown Hiroshi Hase vs. Giant Baba (c) - Baba took the win at 9:46 with his Neckbreaker Drop.
Main Event Bout #5: Hell in the Cell Randy Rose vs. Dakota Darsow - This battle comes to a head, as these 2 battle inside the Hell in a Cell. A crazy battle ensued, as both men re-open their wounds from the last match, as both tried to do anything they could to win. Dakota was able to catch Randy with his Implant DDT at 24:44 to take the win.

Bout #1: CCW TV Title Match Konnan vs. Erick Stevens (c) - This opener is a solid battle, as Konnan tried to rest away the gold from Stevens. Erick refused to let Konnan get a solid footing and then was able to score the pin at 13:50 with his single-leg lift into a lariat.
Bout #2: Ida Mae Martinez vs. Sherri Martel - A solid Shimmering Star match, as these two ladies showed that they still had it. And that they each want it...a Shimmering Star title shot that is! Sherri won at 14:36 with a suplex.
Bout #3: NIWA International Triple Crown Match "Exotic" Adrian Street vs. Giant Baba (c) - Baba has looked great again here, as he started at the bell and never let up. Baba scored the win at 3:57 with his Neckbreaker Drop.
Bout #4: Fritz von Goering vs. Diamond Dallas Page - Fritz is as tough as a $2 steak and he showed that by pounding DDP with some hard hitting offense. DDP fought back and used his Diamond Dream after a Diamond Cutter at 16:07.
Bout #5: Al Snow vs. D'Lo Brown - These two former teammates square off here, as they each want to earn a shot on future cards. Snow missed a cross-body block and that allowed D'Lo to score the win with his Swinging Side Slam at 6:44.
Bout #6: Shimmering Star Championship Match Penny Banner vs. Sara del Rey (c) (w/ Sweeney) - Banner surprised Sara with a Sunset Flip at 0:58 to win the bout and the belt. Sweeney was livid, as was Sara, but Penny walks away with the title.
Bout #7: Chris Hero vs. Bryan Danielson - A great bout, as both Hero and Danielson are looking to get some gold back around their waists. Hero scored several near falls, but Danielson would not stay down. Hero was able to escape a Cattle Mutilation by getting his foot to the ropes. Danielson ducked a Roaring Elbow and hit the ropes to connect with a Yakuza Kick. He locked Hero in the Cattle Mutilation to take the win at 13:00.
Main Event Bout #8: CCW Heavyweight Championship JD Michaels vs. Adam Pearce (c) (w/ Sweeney) - The fans were buzzing about JD is getting a title shot, but they felt that Claudio or Danielson or Hero should have gotten it over Michaels. Those thoughts were dashed, as JD looked awesome throughout the match. Michaels scored several near falls. Sweeney was livid at ringside, which blinded him to Ricky Landell coming out of the crowd to blast Sweeney from behind. Sweeney being put out of commission, meant that this bout would not be marred by outside interference. Pearce was able to withstand the onslaught and used his Jumping Piledriver to retain at 29:10.

Bout #1: CCW TV Title Match Justin Credible vs. Erick Stevens (c) - A great opener here, as Justin looked ready from the start. Justin worked well early, but the younger Stevens used his strength to overpower the challenger. Stevens nailed 2 Doctor Bombs to retain at 13:46.
Bout #2: Buff Bagwell vs. Sabu - Buff came out beyond on-fire as he only took 3 moves to lead into his Buff Blockbuster to win at 1:01. The crowd was stunned.
Bout #3: Rob van Dam vs. D'Lo Brown - D'Lo started fast, but RVD was able to turn the tide quickly. RVD was able to turn up the intensity quickly and scored the pin after a legdrop across the guardrail at 8:03.
Bout #4: Shimmering Star Championship Match Sara del Rey (w/ Sweeney) vs. Penny Banner (c) - Sara was still mad about how Penny shocked her with a win at the last show and it showed. Sara tried, but was unable to score anything more than a 2-count on Penny. Penny scored a pin with his Small Cradle at 9:02 to keep her gold. Penny bailed out, as Sara shot up, furious and looking for blood.
Bout #5: Bryan Danielson vs. Hartford Love (w/ Reginald Love) - Danielson looked solid early, until Hartford thumbed the former champion in the eye. Hartford threw Bryan out of the ring, right in front of Reginald. While Hartford tied up the ref, Reginald choked Bryan with his Peace Beads. Reginald slid Bryan back in and Hartford used his Neckbreaker at 8:19 to steal the win.
Bout #6: CCW Tag Team Championship Match The Young Bucks vs. The Miracle Violence Connection (c) - The Bucks were trying to fly around, but Gordy was able to fire Matt over the ropes and to the floor. Matt shot back in and was thrown back out, landing hard on the floor. Gordy delivered a piledriver on Matt on the floor, drawing blood from the young star. Nick, who tried to save his brother, was cut off by Doctor Death. Nick was spun around with a huge lariat, as the ref counted Matt out at 7:16.
Bout #7: Bob Roop vs. Masked Superstar - A great technical match here, as both men used their skills to try an impose their will. Back and forth action, started drawing the fans into this match-up. Superstar shot them into the ropes and ducked for a back body drop, but Roop hooked an inside cradle on Superstar for the pin at 19:06.
Main Event Bout #8: CCW Heavyweight Championship Match Steve Corino vs. Adam Pearce (c) (w/ Sweeney) - The King of Old School went toe-to-toe Scrap Iron from the opening bell. Both men blasted each other in an old-school heavyweight title battle, with both men busting each other up. Adam after escaping getting nailed with an Old School Expulsion, he finished off Steve with his Jumping Pilediver at 19:50.

Bout #1: Buff Bagwell vs. Konnan - Coming off his stunning upset of Sabu last week, Buff was trying to go 2 for 2. But Konnan was having none of that, as he took it to Buff right from the start. Konnan used his Tequila Sunrise at 1:40.
Bout #2: Chuck Taylor vs. Exotic Adrian Street - Street took charge as the bell rang, never allowing Taylor to get going, or even get his t-shirt off! Street used a cobra clutch to win at 2:50.
Bout #3: Masked Superstar II vs. Ricky Landell - Landell tried to fire-off early, but MS2 shut him down quickly. MS2 used his size advantage to wear down Landell and then won the match at 7:49 with his Backbreaker.
Bout #4: Dupea Rupa vs. Nigel McGuinness - Nigel made his return to the CCW, as the fans cheered him on. It only took 3 moves, culminating with his Jawbreaker Lariat at 0:42. The fans exploded, as they were overjoyed to have Nigel back home.
Bout #5: "Bullet" Bob Armstrong vs. Bob Roop - This technical match-up did not disappoint the fans, as both men used their suplexes and locks to wear each other down. Armstrong was able to escape Roop's Backbreaker twice. Armstrong was able to lock on his Sleeper and score the win at 18:16. The fans gave both men a standing ovation at the end, as they shook hands in a show of respect.
Bout #6: Return Match Bryan Danielson vs. Hartford Love (w/ Reginald) - Bryan was not waiting for the Love Brothers to pull any of their garbage, as he nailed them both to start the match. Bryan scored the win at 1:26 with a missile dropkick. As the ref counted the 3-count, Reginald attacked Bryan. Danielson was able to fire back up and clothesline Reginald to the floor. The fans exploded as Bryan turned into a brass knuckle shot from Hartford. The Love Brothers left Danielson laying in the ring, with a bloody lip.
Main Event Bout #7: CCW TV Title Match Chris Hero vs. Erick Stevens (c) - Another clash between these two young stars, as they each try to use their style to enforce their will. Hero showed why he was the longest reigning TV champion, as he he used his Hero's Welcome to become the first 3-time TV champion in the CCW at 13:16.
