Very cool. Despite having plenty of feds I'm running now, if I ever decide on another one it will likely be based in Japan. Maybe go with JPW like I had in the LWA. Good work.

EXPLOSION '10 Tour Starts - 9/1 Results!:
The EXPLOSION tour started today in front of 700 fans in the Prefectural Gymnasium in Tokyo. The opening contest saw Yuji Nagata and Minoru Suzuki fight to a double countout in a hard-hitting opening match. It's likely that the two will meet again.
The special tag match attraction didn't last very long as Electroshock introduced a weapon into the match. Fans in attendance were not pleased with two finishes like this in a row.
In a fast-paced Super Junior styled tag match, KENTA pinned one of the Jr. Tag title contenders with the Go 2 Sleep. KENTA then made known his plans to challenge the winner of tonight's Otani/Liger match for the Junior Title.
Antonio Inoki and the Road Warriors were victorious over Giant Baba, Mike Awesome, and Claudio Castagnoli in a great six-man tag match. Inoki dominated the gaijins on the other team, while Baba merely stood and watched.
The semi final was a hotly contested sprint, as Otani defeated Jushin Liger to become the first Jr. Heavyweight Champion. Otani won with the simplest of moves, the face wash. After the match, at the press conference, Otani said he would gladly defend his championship against KENTA in the future.
The main event saw the legends triumph over the new generation, but not in the way they would have hoped. Muto and Tanahashi tried the entire match to get the win over each other so as to gain momentum going into the Decision Match on the 17th, but neither would get the pinfall, as Kensuke beat Marufuji with a Northern Lights Bomb.
9/1/10 (TV) - Tokyo Prefectural Gymnasium: 700 fans - No Vacancy 1.) Special Single Match: Yuji Nagata vs. Minoru Suzuki went to a double countout. (6:36) 2.) Special Tag Match: Abismo Negro and Psicosis beat Dr. Wagner Jr. and Electroshock (2:57) via disqualification. 3.) KENTA and Kotaro Suzuki beat Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson (9:39) when KENTA used the Go 2 Sleep on Matt Jackson. 4.) Hawk Warrior, Animal Warrior, and Antonio Inoki beat Mike Awesome, Claudio Castagnoli, and Giant Baba (11:11) when Inoki used an Enzugiri on Castagnoli. 5.) It's not a really complicated system. I try to figure the most realistic possible time given how long it really went paired with all the moves/counters in the match. Sometimes it's just close to how long the match goes real-time (Liger/Otani and the lucha tag)

9/3 Results!
EXPLOSION '10 rolled on today, through Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. The show was headlined by the aces of New Japan, Tanahashi and Marufuji, defeating the gaijin threat of Mike Awesome and Claudio Castagnoli. Tanahashi said that winning a match against a much bigger adversary is good preparation for the upcoming Decision Match with Muto.
Otani used his Spiral Bomb to put away the much larger Chris Hero in the opening contest. Nagata and Inoki were given a chance to take on Hawk Warrior, one of their opponents later this month in Rygoku. Hawk's power proved to be a great asset for his team, but the technical style of the Japanese team neutralized him.
In the second match, Takayama and Minoru Suzuki gained their first victory, pinning the Junior KENTA with a huge knee strike. Takayama says that his knee strike will win the G1 Tag League.
In speaking of the G1 Tag League, Dr. Wagner Jr. pinned his G1 Tag partner today in a six man tag match, using his Wagner Driver to beat Electroshock in a great semifinal match.
New Japan are holding another show at Korakuen tomorrow, which features Muto and Akiyama taking on Tanahashi and KENTA.
9/3/10 (TV) - Tokyo Korakuen Hall: 1.) Yuji Nagata, Antonio Inoki, and Shinjiro Otani beat Chris Hero, Erick Stevens, and Hawk Warrior (13:30) when Otani used a Spiral Bomb on Hero. 2.) 9/4 Results!:
New Japan's second day at Korakuen proved to be extremely interesting as Muto and Tanahashi were opposite each other again. Both tried hard to score a victory over the other, but in the end, KENTA would fall to the Shining Wizard from Muto. Muto promised that Tanahashi would suffer this fate in Rygoku.
Antonio Inoki dominated the Mexican threat Electroshock, pinning him decisively with an Enzugiri, giving him another win over his opponent for September 17th in Rygoku.
Kensuke Sasaki put himself up against virtual Hawk and Animal Warriors today, taking on the massive team of Mike Awesome and Erick Stevens. Kensuke pinned Stevens with a lariat, and said this preparation would give him the edge he needs going into the decision match in Yokohama on the 6th.
The Jacksons continue to lose en route to their Decision match, falling to Dr. Wagner and Tiger Mask today. The Jacksons looked convincing until Wagner locked in the submission hold, winning the match.
The semifinal was an interesting encounter, as the super heavyweight team of Kawada, Takayama, and Minoru Suzuki dominated the team of Morishima, Marufuji, and Kotaro Suzuki. Kotaro was isolated from his team for nearly the whole match, and was finally put down by an Everest German suplex hold.
9/4/10 (TV) - Tokyo Korakuen Hall: 1.) Antonio Inoki beat Electroshock (3:33) when Inoki used the Enzugiri on Electroshock. 2.) 9/6 Results!:
Today's show in Yokohama was headlined by a Decision Match for the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Titles, in what is also a preview of the G1 Tag League, as these two teams are set to meet on October 8th in Sapporo. This gives Morishima and Kensuke immense momentum going into the G1 Tag League, not to mention bragging rights over their block mates.
The other big news is that Muto once again beat Tanahashi's team, but failed to defeat Tanahashi. Nagata was the victor today, submitting Tanahashi with the Nagata Lock III. Muto set up the submission with a Shining Wizard. After the match, Tanahashi vowed that he would defeat Muto.
Akiyama and Kawada wrestled to a time limit draw in a great wrestling match. Kawada nearly won with his Powerbomb hold towards the end of the match, but Akiyama kicked out. The two shook hands after the bout.
Shinjiro Otani displayed heart against Minoru Suzuki and Yoshihiro Takayama today, putting up a great fight only to be submitted by Suzuki's choke sleeper hold. These two teams will meet again on October 6th in the G1 Tag League.

(Going LLUSA format, snarky comments GET) 9/9 and 9/10 Results:
Several newsworthy parts to these two shows, we'll start with 9/9. - This marks Abismo's first pinfall loss in NJPW. Kind of a big deal he loses in the opening match the day before he's supposed to be in a big title match. - Liger absolutely destroyed Nick Jackson, mauled him like a dog mauls a bone. I can't see why Nick, or Matt, are so hard pressed to get a win. - Awesome and Tanaka had a hell of a match here. The weapons were used on the outside, so there as no DQ to be had. Really sick Awesome Bomb from the apron into the crowd. - Morishima and Kensuke score a big win for KENSUKE OFFICE, pinning Hero in under three and a half minutes with a backdrop driver courtesy of the big man, Morishima. Kensuke said in the press conference that this will only continue going into the G1 Tag League. - Muto and Tanahashi's final square-off before their IWGP Heavyweight Title match was a great match. This time, it wasn't one of them pinning the other's partner, as Tanahashi countered Muto's Shining Wizard into the Lighting Cradle to win the match! It seems like Tanahashi has overcome those mental challenges he was talking about.
9/9/10 - Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium: 1.) Dr. Wagner Jr. and Tiger Mask beat. Abismo Negro and Electroshock (13:30) when Tiger Mask used a Tiger Suplex on Abismo. 2.) Jushin Liger beat Nick Jackson (5:59) with a Shooting Star Press. 3.) Mike Awesome beat Masato Tanaka (10:10) with an Awesome Bomb. 4.) Takeshi Morishima and Kensuke Sasaki beat Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli (3:12) when Morishima used a Backdrop Driver on Hero. 5.) Hiroshi Tanahashi and Naomichi Marufuji beat Shinya Hashimoto and Keiji Muto (22:22) when Tanahashi used a Sling Blade on Muto.
And now, the next night... - Awesome destroys Electroshock very quickly. Depressingly so. Awesome tells the news reporters that he is the number one contender, given that he's undefeated. I could see him being the first challenger for the new champion. - The Road Warriors beat Nagata and Muto pretty decisively. They said that they were going to win the G1 Tag League next month. They also called out Brody and Hansen, saying that they want a match outside of the League with them. How awesome of a final would that be? - Kensuke and Morishima once again beat down WESTERN THUNDER, pinning Erick Stevens with a Kensuke lariat. Good match here, I don't see anyone dethroning the tag champs any time soon. - LEGEND beat YOUNG GUN in a hell of a good junior style tag when Wagner pinned KENTA with the Wagner Driver. KENTA was offered a handshake by LEGEND, but instead slapped them in the faces. No really, all three of them. And it was awesome. - The Young Bucks essentially shocked the entire world here, winning not only their first match in NJPW, but the Junior Tag Titles. Pretty good semifinal match from these two teams. When asked about potential opponents, they named Tiger Mask and Jushin Liger. Why not the Road Warriors? They could cut the weight! - Tanahashi will roll into Rygoku with a ton of momentum, pinning the 6'5" Yoshihiro Takayama with another Lightning Cradle. It seems like Tanahashi has found his secret weapon against everyone in New Japan, pinning not only his upcoming championship opponent, but also Takayama. Can Muto find a way to escape it on the 17th?
9/10/10 (TV) - Sendai Sun Plaza Hall: 1.) Mike Awesome beat Electroshock (4:13) with an Awesome Bomb. 2.) Hawk Warrior and Animal Warrior beat Yuji Nagata and Keiji Muto (6:05) when Hawk used a Diving Clothesline on Nagata. 3.) Masato Tanaka, Kensuke Sasaki, and Takeshi Morishima beat Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, and Erick Stevens (9:40) when Sasaki used a lariat on Stevens. 4.) Jushin Liger, Tiger Mask, and Dr. Wagner Jr. beat KENTA, Kotaro Suzuki, and Ricky Marvin (11:11) when Wagner used a Wagner Driver on KENTA. 5.) IWGP Jr. Tag Championship ~ Decision Match: Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson beat Abismo Negro and Psicosis (19:18) when The Jacksons used More Bang For Your Buck on Psicosis. 6.) Hiroshi Tanahashi and Naomichi Marufuji beat Minoru Suzuki and Yoshihiro Takayama (23:14) when Tanahashi used a Lightning Cradle on Suzuki.

9/17 Results - Tanahashi is Champion, Otani gets a big win, more!:
- Tonight's show was headlined by Tanahashi and Muto in the Decision Match for the IWGP Championship. This match was an incredible battle that showed that Muto not only had a counter for the lightning cradle, but he knew how to use it as well! Both men kicked out of each other's holds, and began using the other man's finisher! Tanahashi used the Shining Wizard to become the first IWGP Champion. After the match, Mike Awesome attacked him, hitting him with an Awesome Bomb before declaring himself number one contender. - Shinjiro Otani shocked the entire country of Japan by defeating Kensuke Sasaki tonight in Rygoku. The two had a short, but intense match that saw Otani's will to win persevere against Kensuke's brute force. After the match, the two shook hands. - In a battle of the hardest hitters in New Japan, Hashimoto pinned Takayama after a vertical drop DDT.
