NWA Wrestling: 11/27/2010
from Louisville, KY
A hooded figure was noticed watching the show from the rafters throughout the show.
Bobby Eaton d. Bob Armstrong with the ALABAMA JAM Armstrong kept Eaton off balance for most of the match with his roughneck tactics. But Eaton finally caught him with a spinning neckbreaker and then finished him off with the Alabama Jam.
Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express gather together in the ring. Cornette tells Billy Lyons and Dewey Robertson to enjoy the belts while they last. Once Starcade rolls around those belts will be firmly around the waist of Beautiful Bobby Eaton and Loverboy Dennis Condrey. You can take that promise to the bank.
Koko B. Ware d. the Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant with the GHOSTBUSTER Valiant missed a corner charge and Ware took advantage. He hit a big cross body block and then hit the Ghostbuster to pick up quite the upset victory for himself.
Commissioner Gorilla Monsoon announces that the Championship Committee has signed for Lou Thesz to face Buddy Rogers at the upcoming Starcade PPV event. The NWA is looking forward to seeing Lou Thesz in the squared circle.
Ravishing Rick Rude and King Kong Bundy d. the Sheepherders with the RUDE AWAKENING Butch and Luke were brawling wildly with Rude and Bundy through the early goings. Rude caught Butch with a top rope sledgehammer and then hit the Rude Awakening to defeat the debuting Sheepherders.
Sir Oliver Humperdink and One Man Gang come down to the ring. Humperdink wants the NWA to give the OMG a rematch with Red Bastien for the NWA World Television Championship. He feels that it's only fair after his man came so close to winning the title.
Main Event: Eddie Gilbert d. Bill Dundee by DQ This was a back and forth brawl. Gilbert caught Dundee with a neckbreaker clothesline and then a piledriver. Dundee fought back and hit a big splash and then locked on a sleeperhold. Things spilled out of the ring and the referee called for the disqualification as Dundee repeatedly rammed Gilbert's head into the announce table.
After the match Dundee continues his assault on Gilbert. The hooded figure that has been haunting the NWA for the past several shows finally makes his way down to ringside. Dundee stops and the two figures stare each other down. Suddenly, the hooded figure lashes out at Dundee and lays into him with some big shots. The hooded figure throws Dundee into the ring and lifts him into a tree of woe. The hooded figure puts the boots to Dundee and then walks to the middle of the ring and pulls down the hood to reveal...
KEVIN SULLIVAN!!!
Sullivan chokes Dundee with his boot as Gilbert recovers enough to get into the ring. Gilbert puts the boots to Dundee as Sullivan continues to choke Dundee with his boot. Sullivan and Gilbert stop the attack. Sullivan raises Gilbert's hand in victory and they hug briefly. Sullivan turns to walk away but Gilbert pulls him back and blasts him right in the face with a Fireball. Sullivan rolls around in pain as Gilbert laughs hysterically at him.
Eddie Gilbert grabs the house mic. He asks Sullivan if he truly thought that someone the calibur of Eddie Gilbert would work with the likes of him. He laughs at the mere notion of that thought. He wants to take this moment to issue a warning to the NWA. Hotstuff International is coming and it's going to take over the NWA like no force that's ever been seen before.
Gilbert takes a few more stomps at Bill Dundee before exiting the arena.

NWA Wrestling 11/28/2010
from Greenville, SC
Kevin Sullivan is storming through the backstage area wanting to know where Eddie Gilbert is. George South has the misfortune of getting in his way and gets slammed through a door. Sullivan mutters about how he's going to rip Gilbert's head off as he continues to march through the arena.
S.D. Jones d. Mister X with the HEADBUTT X went for an airplane spin but Jones was just too strong for him. Jones caught X with a powerslam and wore him down with a few other moves. Jones hit the Headbutt to pick up the victory.
Commissioner Gorilla Monsoon comes down to the ring. He's very upset with the events at the shows last week. Particularly how Ed Lewis and John Pesek carried themselves with NWA World Heavyweight Champion Bobo Brazil. He wants to see Lewis and Pesek in the ring right now.
Ed "Strangler" Lewis and John Pesek come down to the ring. Monsoon tells them that he's tired of their antics and he's going to make it his goal to keep them under control. For starters, Ed Lewis will get another shot at the World Heavyweight Championship but this time it will be inside of the steel cage. That way John Pesek can't get involved in the match this time. He wants a clear cut winner/loser from this match at Starcade.
Lewis and Pesek begin to leave but Monsoon stops them. Monsoon says they still have a bit of unfinished business from last week. In tonight's main event it's going to be Ed "Strangler" Lewis teaming up with John Pesek to take on... the Road Warriors.
Larry Zbyszko d. Johnny Rodz with the PILEDRIVER Zbyszko caught Rodz with a knee smash and then punished him with punches on the outside. Back in the ring Zbyszko wore him down with an abdominal stretch and a backbreaker. Zbyszko decided to end things and hit the Piledriver.
Larry Zbyszko is tired of hearing about how hard Ted Dibiase has it as the champion. If it's such a trial, maybe he shouldn't be the champion. Zbyszko will be more than happy to remove the burdens of a championship from the back of Dibiase.
Adrian Street, Buddy Rose and Gorgeous George d. Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Koko B. Ware and Les Thatcher with a cross body block This match was a wild one. The match ended when Street caught Thatcher with the Crucifix and then George came off of the top rope with a cross body block to pick up the victory.
Eddie Gilbert comes down to the ring. He wants Kevin Sullivan and Bill Dundee to see how things are done at Hotstuff International. Gilbert is proud to announce that he has signed the services of Adrian Street, Buddy Rose and Gorgeous George. With his managerial skills, Hotstuff International will become the elite stable in the NWA. He'd like to see Kevin Sullivan or Bill Dundee build a stable like this.
Antonino Rocca d. Boris Zhukov with the ARGENTINIAN BACKBREAKER Zhukov really overpowered Rocca in the early goings. He slammed Rocca to the mat and punished him on the outside. Rocca dodged a knee drop from the top rope and caught Zhukov with a flying dropkick. Rocca used a victory roll and then applied the Argentinian Backbreaker to pick up the victory.
NWA World Tag Team Champions Billy Lyons and Dewey Robertson are backstage. Robertson points out that they left the Masked Superstars and Midnight Express laid out in the middle of that ring just last week. They refuse to lay down for any team in the NWA. They have the belts at this moment and they plan to keep it that way for a very long time. The Midnight Express had better come to fight at Starcade. They don't plan to make the match easy at all.
Harley Race d. Bob Orton Sr. with the PILEDRIVER Orton and Race traded control of this match several times. Orton had Race down and hit the Piledriver. Orton covered but Heenan distracted the referee. Orton went to argue with the Heenan and Race caught him with a swinging neckbreaker. Race hit a diving headbutt and then finished the match with the Piledriver.
Bob Orton Sr. recovers and catches Harley Race with a clothesline. Orton puts the boots to Race until he manages to roll out of the ring. Orton grabs the house mic. Orton wants another shot at Harley Race. He was robbed in this match by outside interference. But Orton wants one stipulation for the rematch. He wants it to be a Piledriver match. That means the match can only end when one of them hits their version of the Piledriver.
Harley Race nods in agreement as he heads towards the backstage area.
Jushin Liger d. Iron Mike Dibiase with the FISHERMAN'S BUSTER Liger made short work of Dibiase here. He used the Fisherman's Buster to pick up the victory. Liger is starting to build momentum as he heads into his title shot against Tiger Mask at Starcade.
April Hunter is backstage. She's worked harder than any woman in the sport of wrestling to get where she is. It burns her up to see someone like Sherri Martel handed success. She's going to end Martel's championship reign at Starcade.
the Destroyer d. Youssuf Ishmaelo by DQ The Destroyer dominated the match but things spilled out of the ring. Ishmaelo was disqualified for smashing the Destroyer in the back with a folding chair.
Youssuf Ismaelo locks his Stranglehold on the Destroyer. He refuses to break the hold until George "The Animal" Steele charges out and chases him to the backstage area.
Main Event: Road Warriors d. Ed "Strangler" Lewis and John Pesek with the DOOMSDAY DEVICE Animal and Hawk ran over Lewis and Pesek in this match. Hawk hit a vertical suplex and Animal tossed Lewis out of the ring. Animal and Hawk pounded on both men out of the ring. Back in the ring and the Doomsday Device finished things off for the Road Warriors.

NWA Wrestling: 11/29/2010
from St. Paul, MN
Iron Sheik d. Mister X with the CAMEL CLUTCH X worked the Sheik over with a headlock in the early goings of the match. The Sheik took control of the match and hit the sidewinder suplex. The Sheik applied the Camel Clutch to pick up the victory.
Pepper Gomez comes down to the ring. He's the man with the cast iron stomach. Gomez has brought a local gold gloves boxer to prove this. The boxer punches Gomez in the stomach and grabs his hand in obvious pain. Gomez thanks the crowd for their time.
Kevin Sullivan d. George South with the DOUBLE FOOT STOMP Sullivan lifted South into the Tree of Woe and put the boots to him. Sullivan blasted South right in the face with a roll of quarters. Double Foot Stomp picked up the win for Kevin Sullivan.
Kevin Sullivan saw Eddie Gilbert's little display the other day. He's not that impressed by who he decided to recruit as his members of Hotstuff International. Sullivan has been building his own team. He calls his team out...
Steve Williams, Danny Hodge and Bob Roop all come down to the ring. Sullivan introduces them as the Varsity Club. They'll take out Hotstuff International with little trouble.
Nora Greenwald d. Tammy Lynn Sytch with the FLIPPING SEATED SENTON Nora caught Sytch with a rolling neck snap and then hit a picture perfect flapjack. Nora went to the top rope and hit the Flipping Seated Senton to pick up the win.
NWA Women's Champion Sherri Martel is backstage. She finds it amusing that April Hunter hasn't stopped running her mouth for the last month. Last time she checked, she beat April Hunter in a tag team match. Maybe April should pick up some victories before she runs her mouth so much.
New Age Outlaws d. the Samoan Island Tribe with a sunset flip Alofa and Samu kept Gunn down with double team moves and quick tags. Samu sent Gunn into the ropes but Gunn caught him with a sunset flip and picked up the pinfall victory for the NAO.
Harley Race and Bobby Heenan are backstage. Harley Race laughs at the challenge Bob Orton Sr. laid out for him. Harley Race is the master of the Piledriver. Not Bob Orton Sr. When Starcade rolls around, he's going to prove that by hitting his Piledriver on Orton.
Andre the Giant d. Nikolai Volkoff with a head butt Andre made short work of Volkoff and hit a head butt to pick up the victory.
Lou Thesz is at a press conference. He spends most of the time talking about how eager he is to start wrestling in the NWA. Thesz also mentions that he plans to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in relatively quick fashion.
Main Event: Ilio Dipaolo d. Johnny Valentine by DQ This one spilled out of the ring. Valentine and Dipaolo brawled throughout the ringside area. The referee called for the disqualification when Valentine hit Dipaolo with a chair.
Valentine rolls Dipaolo into the ring and hits him with the Atomic Skullcrusher as the show comes to a close.

Well, Harley Race lost at the worst possible time. He was slated to face Bobo Brazil for the Heavyweight Championship at Clash of the Champions with a win here. Looks like he's out of luck.
Look out later this week. Jimmy Snuka, Frank Gotch, Nick Bockwinkel and Rob Van Dam are going to square off in a four man tournament to determine a new No. 1 Contender for Brazil's opponent at Clash of the Champions on the 13 of January.
For those that don't know. The Clash of the Champions is an annual event that takes place on my birthday the 13th of January.

This isn't dead. Just on a short hiatus.
Anyways, I am combining my Underground Championship Wrestling LOTF fed into this. The title history will remain but I won't run it as a television promotion anymore. The UCW is becoming the Heartland Wrestling Association and the belts will be renamed accordingly. It will probably run once or twice a month. This will be the minor league to the NWA. Les Thatcher will also become the HWA Commissioner.
