I think Del Rio is spot on doing the heel thing, especially since he has spent the rest of his career under a mask (including getting KOed by Mirko "CroCop" Filipoviæ in PRIDE FC). Without the mask, he doesn't get to use all the history he has created or such, b/c he is NOT Dos Caras Jr in WWE.

Okay, I don't know if I'm in the minority here or not, but I can't stand Del Rio. Not in a "Oh he's got heat because of his carefully crafted heel persona" way... In a "You suck and I'll never get back the time I've wasted watching you on my TV" kinda way. What don't you like about him? I think he is good all-around. He'll never be the top guy unless Rey is the top guy with him, but I find him effective in his promos and entertaining in the ring. Ricardo Rodriguez is pretty awesome too.

SNOWFLAKE TIME: IC Title Match: **1/4 Divas Table Match: DUD Santino & Kozlov/Nexus: DUD Morrison/Sheamus: **** Miz/Orton: *1/2 4-Way TLC: ****1/2 Barrett/Cena: **
Trying to figure out when Sheamus/JoMo and the 4-way rank on my list. Cena/Barrett had a pretty nasty finish but other than that it sucked. Bad PPV outside of the two matches that I rated higher than two and one fourth stars.

I figured the Divas Table Match would have been awesome! No real shockers here

I figured the Divas Table Match would have been awesome! Oh man, so was I! They're all great workers who know how to put a match togeth..yeah I'm pushing it there. I expected the opener to be better than Sheamus/Morrison. As far as results go, I agree. Nothing really even half-surprised me on the card except Morrison winning.

Nothing shocking here, a few matches stand out while the rest flounder. I loved that Sheamus lost, makes no sense but this current booking crew really has sucked with Sheamus but maybe it's Sheamus that sucks...

This PPV is demonstrative of the problem with the TLC PPV. It ends up being like an old WCW Uncensored after a while.
MITB, HIAC, EC... I don't like those as PPVs but they work somewhat better in concept than TLC. Even Lockdown works better as a concept than TLC.

They may be turning this into a longer feud for Sheamus to keep him involved in a storyline so he can move back into a semi-main spot come the new year.

Some quick thoughts, part 1.
1. IC Title Ladder Match: ** 1/2 -- Good opening match. Some really creative spots and lots of good psychology. I dug the injury angle with Swagger. I liked the finish, although apparently Ziggler stayed down too long, as he was supposed to catch the belt right out of the air. But still works.
2. LayCool vs Nattie/Beth Phoenix: * -- Considering the cage match between Tara and Mickie James on Impact the other day, this was less than impressive. The 1 star is for a couple of nice spots (Beth's double fireman's carry, the finish), and the fact that I dug all four gal's outfits. Yes, that is a reach.
The bump that Beth took when Michelle threw her out of the ring was scary looking, but apparently she is alright (according to her Twitter).
3. Santino/Kozlov vs "Lexus": 1/2 -- As my brother said to me yesterday, Santino could murder someone in the ring at this point and he'd still get cheered. Slater and Gabriel don't do a thing for me as heels; I'd much rather have Harris and Magilicutty. Unremarkable in every way.

Just read the results... sounds OK for a spotfest. Surprised at Edge going over... I would have thought it would be Del Rio.
Be interesting to see what they do with the Nexus and Barrett tonight on Raw.

Some more quick thoughts. Sheamus vs John Morrison: **** -- Very solid match which made good use of the contrasting styles of the two fighters. Lots of great punishment spots. Regarding the outcome, I figure this has to be (like jasonjaconetti said) a way to keep Sheamus in the spotlight. This HAS to be building to Sheamus/HHH, right? Making Sheamus the King Of The Ring, the constant reminder that Sheamus took him out? All signs point to Sheamus/HHH for me. And regarding Morrison as #1 Contender, Miz has been talking to the media about how he has always been minimized in his championships, including as a Tag Champ with Morrison, so I guess that's the angle. The Miz vs Randy Orton: ** -- I love how everyone omits RVD when talking about folks cashing in the MITB contract in an "opportunistic" way. Oh well. As far as the match, about what I would expect from these two. Orton was walking through the match, and Miz is good (yeah, I said it) but he can't carry a match completely at this point in his career. This match reminded me of some of JBL's early defenses when the Cabinet would run lots of interference for him. Like JBL, eventually Miz will have to win matches through cunning and guile rather than interference to continue to garner heel heat; the finish to this match was a step in that direction. I would like to add, however, that everyone knows that there is no instant replay in professional wrestling!

Final quick thoughts.
Fatal Four Way TLC Match: *** -- You ever get the feeling that Edge is getting too old for this crap? Good use of all four men and their strengths, including hiding Kane's lack of mobility. There was a funny bit of ad libbing by Kane when he was trying to set up a table and he accidentally ripped one of the legs off. Had all of the big spots and false finishes you would expect from a TLC. Good matchup all around. Definitely a better match than it would have been with just Edge and Kane. I can't believe I am typing this, but Edge is the safest choice for the World Title.
Nice name drop of Psicosis by Matt Stryker, btw. Misterio had a great mask, as well, emulating Gene Simmons' Demon make-up.
John Cena vs Wade Barrett: ** -- I expected a lot more out of the main event. Well, maybe I didn't expect it but I was hoping. I like both of these guys but this was just a revenge fest, "send em home happy" match. The ending was pretty funny though! But seriously, that was pretty much the only really memorable bit; well, that and the office chair spot, "Wade Barrett's Wild Ride" as King called it!
Final Thoughts: Nothing surprising on the card. Overall this was not a great show. Too many bad and mediocre matches. Final Resolution was far superior.
