I've actually enjoyed The Brave and the Bold run...
I really haven't been following the books of late...
Is the Blue Beetle introduced in the series pretty close to what they did with the character in the book after Kord's death? Or is it just a series 'character'?

It's funny they can't seem to stick with one portrayal... the old Paul Dini one is the only one that ran for any length of time. What I like about BatB is that is the guest stars. Not only is it a nice acknowledgement of the old comic, but it lets you see guys you'd wouldn't usually see.
I liked the one before Brave and the Bold... it had a nice combo of the dark aspects and the Pow-Biff-Wham type stuff. The art wasn't the greatest, though.

graymar I think the basis of the kid as the new Blue Beetle is from the comic book but he could be different from the book... I do collect the Batman the Brave and the Bold comic book based on the cartoon and they've changed it up with somewhat of a new direction, but it still is a fun book and this is the only book I still get... I'm not really sure why they keep doing Batman, the new Young Justice is a good blend...
