JWA SIEGE OF THE AUTUMN TOUR
Kanayama Gym
Nagoya, Japan
Sept. 17, 2119
Jushin Liger, Tiger Mask & Danny Hodge def. Delirious, Sabu & Wild Red Berry
An exciting and super fast paced opening six-man tag. Red Berry took a major beating for quite some time as he started the match. Berry stayed alive and got a tag. The teams battled it out from there with great back and forth action. Tiger Mask pinned Sabu with the Tiger Suplex.
Johnnny Valentine def. Henry Irslinger
Valentine showed a foul mood made worse when Irslinger wouldn't cooperate and go down easily. Irslinger battled and fought hard, not giving it up. Valentine leveled him over and over and put him out with the sleeper. Johnny wouldn't release the hold after the match and left Irslinger out cold in the ring. (Irslinger 4 coins).
Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan def. The New Masked Superstars
The former world tag team champions easily defeated the much larger Masked Superstars. Dozan tagged Inoki and the Octopus put away the newest Masked Superstar. They paid the price though as Masked Superstar II attacked the Japanese duo after the match.
Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo def. The Super Destroyers
A really great tag team match as everyone is trying to prove they belong in the Crockett Cup Tag Team Tournament. Rocca was in trouble then it was the Masked Superstar down on the mat. DiPaolo got a tag and Rocca beat the Destroyer with the Argentinian Backbreaker.
Yukon Eric def. Fritz Von Goering
A rematch earlier last week where Fritz Von Goering was disqualified. This was a real even match, very hard-hitting. Mr. Fuji interferred but Yukon Eric sent him flying out of the ring, blasted Von Goering and got the pin. Mr. Fuji nailed Yukon Eric from behind and a double team ensued.
The Road Warriors def. The Sons of Samoa
The new All-Asia tag team champions didn't have too much trouble against Afa Jr. and Samu. The Legion of Doom worked over Afa Jr. for awhile, but it was Samu who was pinned after Animal's flying shoulder ram.
Buddy Rogers def. Don Leo Jonathan
The Nature Boy needed a good win and he got one. Jonathan had Rogers in lots of trouble though, but the Nature Boy fought back. The figure four ended the match.
Terry Gordy def. Steve Williams
Another fight in the feud between these two. Huge power moves abounded and both men were down and out on occasion. Gordy scored the victory this time with the Oriental Spike.
Nick Bockwinkel def. John Pesek
A big opportunity slipped away from the Tiger Man. He didn't show up in this non-title match with the All-Asia champion. Bockwinkel reversed into a Boston Crab and Pesek tapped.
Giant Baba, Gorgeous George, Frank Gotch & Ray Stevens def. The Foreign Force by D.Q.
An awesome eight-man tag team main event with Mr. Fuji's Foreign Force once again not too concerned with wins. This was a great match with nearly everyone involved down on the mat and ripe for the pickings at some point. Ivan Koloff sent Stevens to the floor where he was almost counted out of the ring. Then Koloff, Fuji, Saito and the Iron Sheik all ganged up on the Crippler and the bell rang, then all eight men brawled.
