Very interesting stuff... I'd love to see the indivual results, too, if you keep them. Like, wrestler-by-wrestler results? If so, I don't have those.

WWL Week 16 Recap:
Chicago (8-8) @ New York City (13-3) - Chicago has had a pretty mediocre season after looking set to dominate the league early on. This week they took on the Titans at The Garden. Extended rosters meant the world to Chicago here as the Road Warriors opened up the night against Brent Albright and Antonio Inoki in a winning effort. Chi-Town's luck ran out after that, though. Dan Severn submitted Bruiser Brody and Ed Lewis took out Brad Armstrong to drop Chicago to .500.
Game of the Week: New Orleans (10-6) @ Detroit (12-4) - New Orleans traveled to Detroit with the intention of putting an end to the Riot, but they couldn't get the job done as Detroit swept them two straight matches. Terry Gordy beat Rick Rude in a great opening match, and in the second match, Sabu pinned Mike Quackenbush.
Atlanta (9-7) @ Montreal (2-14) - As if things couldn't get sadder for Montreal, Atlanta went up north and proceeded to burn down the Centre Bell as Montreal took another tough loss. Curt Hennig hit the Hennig Plex on Nikolai Volkoff, and to put the nail in the coffin, Roderick Strong beat Jacques Rougeau.
Orlando (12-4) @ Houston (6-10) - Four losses in a row is all Orlando was having as they came to Houston looking to break the slump. George Hackenschmidt put on a show in a great match against Ted DiBiase that saw DiBiase lose. Orlando's other two would pick up the slack as Mad Dog Vachon lost to Don Leo Jonathan and Bobby Eaton beat Jim Brunzell.
San Diego (12-4) @ Dallas (4-12) - The Savages vs. The Shooters didn't look like it was going to be a great game on paper, but that's exactly what it ended up being. Delirious and Jay Briscoe had a hell of an opener that saw Delirious narrowly lose. Antonio Rocca beat Eddie Kingston in the second match. Overtime would be the end for Dallas as Larry Hennig took down Angelo Mosca. The once beatable Savages are looking more and more like a championship team every week.
Oklahoma City (14-2) @ Columbus (3-13) - As if there was any question at all, OKC ran through the Cardinals at Nationwide Arena. Brutus Beefcake tried to hang with Danny Hodge, but found out that it's easier said than done as Hodge beat him easily. Greg Valentine put up a valiant effort too, but Dr. Death wasn't having any of it as he hit the Oklahoma Stampede to give OKC their fourteenth straight win. Can you say "unbeatable"?
Los Angeles (5-11) @ Philadelphia (10-6) - The LA Express have failed to impress anyone this season, and it's no surprise what happened to them when they came to Philadelphia. RVD was cheered in his old stomping grounds, but Steve Corino ended his night abruptly with the Old School Expulsion. Justin Credible drove the final nail in the Express' coffin by beating Don Muraco. Philly's finally in double digits.
San Francisco (4-12) @ Boston (6-10) - Two icons of the business were on a collision course this week as Bobo Brazil met Gorgeous George in a huge East vs. West match. The two would wrestle to a double countout in match one, putting all of the pressure on their teammates. Stan Lane beat Brian Blair, and in overtime, Chris Hero beat Gran Akuma. When it went to the judges, they awarded the game to Boston.
Portland (13-3) @ Mexico City (2-13) - The Lumberjacks are without a doubt one of the best teams in the league, and are definitely are the top team in the West. They proved this again as they flew down to the war zone for a match with Los Bandidos. Giant Baba put Mil Mascaras away with the Running Neckbreaker Drop. Konnan performed well against DDP but in the end, he ate a Diamond Cutter and that was it for the Bandidos. Maybe next season.
Seattle (8-8) @ St. Louis (9-7) - Bill Watts lead the Spirits into battle against a Seattle team that tends to get overlooked. Bill Watts won't forget this game, as Kip James and Jimmy Snuka would beat his team in the final two matches. Harley Race won the opener against Ray Stevens with ease. Kip James beat Claudio Castagnoli and in overtime, Snuka took flight against the American Dragon to bring Seattle back to .500.
Utah (9-7) @ New Mexico (7-9) - The Pioneers are no doubt a tough team, but they were tasked with beating a tough team in New Mexico. Jack Swagger started off this week, narrowly defeating The Masked Superstar in a shocking upset with the Gutwrench Powerbomb. Utah responded with Jim Londos beating Erick Stevens. In overtime, One Man Gang's 747 Splash would end the game as he beat Red Bastien.
Tokyo (10-6) @ Phoenix (5-11) - After looking like the Phoenix of old a week or so back, they're back to their losing ways as the Dragons devoured the Glory in a decisive game. Jushin Liger took care of Necro Butcher with the Liger Bomb, and Rikidozan chopped down Johnny Valentine to end the game. Tokyo is now in double digits as we approach the halfway point of the season.
LEAGUE STANDINGS: EASTERN CONFERENCE: Oklahoma City (14-2) New York City (13-3) Orlando (12-4) Detroit (12-4) New Orleans (10-6) Philadelphia (10-6) St. Louis (9-7) Atlanta (9-7) Chicago (8-8) Boston (6-10) Columbus (3-13) Montreal (2-14)
WESTERN CONFERENCE: Portland (13-3) San Diego (12-4) Tokyo (10-6) Utah (9-7) Seattle (8-8) New Mexico (7-9) Houston (6-10) Phoenix (5-11) Los Angeles (5-11) Dallas (4-12) San Francisco (4-12) Mexico City (2-14)

ESPN: Bobby Heenan - "Andre the Giant will be able to go in the Post-Season":
-- NEW ORLEANS: Bill Watts' replacement, Bobby Heenan, said after the Destroyer's loss to the Detroit Riot that Andre the Giant will be able to return if the team makes it to the post-season.
"We'll probably let him sit out the first round, but definitely, Andre will be back if we get to the Playoffs.", Heenan said at the press conference.
When asked about the end of the season and the record he expects his team to have, Heenan said, "Look, I don't get why people are projecting records for teams when the season's nowhere near finished. I know the humanoids want to know who to bet on but look at it like this: Everybody was saying that after week 2, Jim Ross would be fired, and Oklahoma City's won 14 straight games. Fourteen straight games. And now all of a sudden everybody thinks they're going to be 33-2 at the end of the season. It wouldn't surprise me, but come on, everybody thought Orlando was unbeatable and they lost four straight to teams nobody thought could beat them."
Yahoo! Sports: A look at the WWL Season 2 Draft Class:
With the midway point of the season being next week, the list of eligible draftees was announced, and it's a who's who list of wrestling talent. Along with the names here, any free agents are also eligible for being drafted.
The List: Lou Thesz Val Venis Magnum TA Ric Flair Sting The Rock Steve Austin The Undertaker Kane Mick Foley Terry Funk Goldberg Wade Barrett Justin Gabriel Lex Luger Dynamite Kid British Bulldog John Cena Randy Orton Mitsuharu Misawa Kenta Kobashi Hiroshi Tanahashi Shinsuke Nakamura Sheamus Drew McIntyre Yoshi Tatsu
Several of the men on the list have talents that a majority of the teams in the league could make good use of. I would think any team that lands Ric Flair or Lou Thesz would become a force in the league.

So in a fit of complete boredom after the Rumble last night, and all day today, I just played through the entire season in around 14 hours. Some games, I won't lie, I just rolled the dice to see who won. I did this partially because I didn't care about the majority of the matchups between terrible teams, or because I wanted to give a terrible team a chance. That seems like a cop out but I'm thinking of just shortening the season to 24 games or something. Either way, we're at the post-season. Here's the final records of the season: LEAGUE STANDINGS: EASTERN CONFERENCE:Oklahoma City (32-3); win streak was broken at 23 by Chicago. Orlando (31-4) New York City (30-5) Atlanta (28-7) New Orleans (27-8) Philadelphia (26-9) Detroit (25-10) St. Louis (24-11) Chicago (17-18) Boston (13-22) Montreal (11-24) Columbus (8-27) WESTERN CONFERENCE:Portland (31-4) San Diego (30-5) Tokyo (27-8) Utah (26-9) New Mexico (24-11) Seattle (23-12) San Francisco (22-13) Mexico City (21-14) Phoenix (20-15) Los Angeles (20-15) Dallas (17-18) Houston (16-19) The playoffs will be done as followed. - The WWL Playoffs will follow a 5-7-7-7 Format. - Each game will be an elimination tag match. If the teams are not equal in numbers, one team will bench the required amount of wrestlers. - If a wrestler fouls out of the game, he fouls out of the series. - The first WWL Finals will take place at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The brackets look like this as of the first round. Game 1 of the Playoffs across the board will be played tonight during RAW, and likely posted after.

WWL TV Playoffs Opening Night Recap:
The first ever Playoffs began tonight, and the sixteen top teams in the league threw down in elimination tag matches.
Oklahoma City (1-0) @ St. Louis (0-1): Two of the top coaches in the league collide for the first of a potential five game series. This one was a bonafide classic, as both teams were brought down to one man each when Harley Race and Steve Williams were the final two. Williams hit the Oklahoma Stampede on an beaten down Harley Race to give OKC their first win of the Playoffs.
Orlando (0-1) @ Detroit (1-0): The Hurricanes came in looking to avenge their Week 15 loss to the Riot, but things were not meant to be as the rougher team won the battle tonight. Bobby Eaton was the first to go via the Blonde Bomb from Chris Candido. Orlando would end up at a 1-3 disadvantage as Ted DiBiase went almost immediately after due to the Arabian Facebuster, but Terry Gordy would pin Don Leo Jonathan to give Detroit Game 1.
New York City (1-0) @ Philadelphia (0-1): The Titans proved tonight why they're strong contenders for the championship by destroying the Revolution. The match was made 3 vs. 3, with Ed Lewis shockingly being benched. Brent Albright eliminated The Sandman and Justin Credible by himself. Dan Severn would submit Steve Corino to end the game.
Atlanta (0-1) @ New Orleans (1-0): Was that an earthquake at the Superdome? Nope, just the return of Andre the Giant in an eight man elimination match as New Orleans goes up 1-0 on the series. Curt Hennig faced Heenan Family comrades Andre the Giant and Rick Rude, with the latter eliminating him. Andre hit the Big Splash on Tiger Mask, and then on Destroyer. It came down to Roderick Strong vs. Andre the Giant and Mike Quackenbush after Roderick beat Rick Rude and Chuck Taylor. Roddy put on an admirable display, but Quackenbush beat him in the Superdome.
And let's not forget about the West, an entire conference stepped it up in the second half of the season, giving us some truly unbelievable playoff teams.
Mexico City (0-1) @ Portland (1-0): These two teams met twice in the season, with Portland winning both games easily. The Sheik returned for the post-season, but didn't contribute much as he was eliminated quickly by Giant Baba. Mil Mascaras managed to eliminate DDP and Ox Baker, seemingly putting the Lumberjacks at a disadvantage. He'd have no such luck as Giant Baba beat both him and Konnan with the Running Neckbreaker Drop.
San Diego (1-0) @ San Francisco (0-1): These two teams have it the easiest in the Playoffs, they're both incredibly close meaning the wrestlers don't have much jet lag at all. It certainly helped San Diego as they went to war against San Francisco, a team that turned it around something fierce in the second half of the season. Eddie Kingston ended old rival Chris Hero's night quickly with the Backfist to the Future. Gorgeous George was pinned by Larry Hennig in a shocking upset, and Kingston hit a lariat on Brian Blair to end the night for San Francisco.
Seattle (0-1) @ Tokyo (1-0): Seattle were the little engine that could during the season, but their ride seemed to have stopped at the Tokyo Dome tonight as Jushin Liger pinned Ray Stevens to start the game off. Kip James and Jimmy Snuka fought back, eliminating Davey Richards to even it up, but that went out the window as Rikidozan hit those chops on Kip James to eliminate him, and in a battle of high flying wrestlers, Jushin Liger beat Jimmy Snuka.
Utah (0-1) @ New Mexico (1-0): The Pioneers face their Week 16 opponents again in a losing effort as the youth and power of the New Mexico squad proved to negate the experience of the Pioneers. Jim Londos was the last man standing, but had taken a ton of punishment from Jack Swagger and Erick Stevens in the match. One Man Gang's 747 Splash ended Utah's first night in the Playoffs, and gave New Mexico their first victory on their road to the Championship.

WWL TV Game Two Recap:
As the playoffs roll on, we've got sixteen teams looking to claim the title of being fhe first WWL Champions. Who gets just that much closer as Game Two wrapped?
Oklahoma City (2-0) @ St. Louis (0-2): - Bill Watts' criticism of Jim Ross early in the season may have come back to haunt him as OKC took another game in St. Louis. Harley Race was the first eliminated as he was targeted by Eddie Edwards and Danny Hodge. Bryan Danielson went next courtesy of Hodge, and very shortly after that, Claudio Castagnoli lost to Steve Williams. OKC needs just one game to advance.
Orlando (1-1) @ Detroit (1-1): The Hurricanes are without an extended roster which leaves them kind of in a rut here in the post-season. Tonight they had what it took to best the Riot at the Joe in Detroit. Sabu and Don Leo Jonathan were both counted out after an insane dive from Sabu. Leaving the match at a regular tag match, Terry Gordy was beaten by Ted DiBiase, and The Missing Link by Bobby Eaton.
New York City (2-0) @ Philadelphia (0-2): Things are gettin' awful decisive in the East as the Titans took the Revolution to school yet again at the Spectrum. Ed Lewis started in this match, and eliminated The Sandman. Steve Corino would eliminate Lewis after some assistance from Justin Credible. This would be a mistake, as it sent Dan Severn into overdrive, submitting both Credible and Corino with the wakigatame.
Atlanta (0-2) @ New Orleans (2-0): New Orleans benched Andre for this game, but it didn't make any difference. Curt Hennig eliminated Brodie Lee with the Hennig Plex. The Destroyers responded with Chuck Taylor's Awful Waffle, eliminating Tiger Mask and Roderick Strong. Rick Rude eliminated The Destroyer with the Rude Awakening, to put ATL at a major disadvantage. Hennig put up a valiant effort, but Rick Rude would win the match for New Orleans. Only one win is needed to advance for three teams in the East.
Mexico City (0-2) @ Portland (2-0): Los Bandidos had an incredible second half to their season, but are one loss away from the post-season being over for them. Mil Mascaras was benched with back injuries for this game which made it a regular tag match. Konnan was eliminated by Ox Baker's Heart Punch. The Sheik managed to eliminate Ox Baker, and when it came down to DDP and The Sheik, the Diamond Cutter would end up deciding the game.
San Diego (2-0) @ San Francisco (0-2): The Savages lived up to their name in another great battle in San Francisco. Larry Hennig sat on the bench and let the Briscoes and King do their jobs, and they did just that. A Doomsday Device from the Briscoes would be the end for Gorgeous George. Chris Hero responded by knocking out BOTH Briscoe Brothers with the Emerald Elbow Pad. At a 2-1 disadvantage, King threw the lariat at Hero, eliminating him. Brian Blair stood relatively no chance as he was hit with the Backfist to the Future. Kingston continued to be the heart of the team, and now they are one win away from advancing.
Seattle (0-2) @ Tokyo (2-0): Seattle have shown heart, but it's not enough to beat a tough team, much less in the Tokyo Dome. Kip James was eliminated first by Frank Gotch, who was starting for the first time since Week 27. Davey Richards eliminated Ray Stevens, and Rikidozan chopped down Jimmy Snuka. Tokyo are up by 2, and next game they're in Seattle. Can the Thunderheads turn this around?
Utah (1-1) @ New Mexico (1-1): And the only split series in the West goes to two scrappy teams. Gary Hart benched Swagger and Stevens, going with Gang/Bundy/Jacobs as his lineup tonight. This was not a smart move, as the two big men were eliminated quickly by Londos and Masked Superstar, leaving only Jimmy Jacobs. The match went another five minutes or so before Jacobs was eliminated by Red Bastien.
POST GAME: - Bill Watts said that St. Louis would turn it around in Oklahoma City in the next game. Watts said Ross is a mediocre coach with a good team and they can make up for his inability to coach. He then took aim at Jesse Ventura for the deal he made with Jim Ross where if he got Steve Williams, he'd trade him to JR, calling it, "A bullshit move between two of the most overrated coaches in the league." Says the guy who got fired after promising 30 wins, injuring Andre the Giant, and making him wrestle.
- Bobby Heenan said that Andre the Giant is being rested early on in the Playoffs to as to let the injury he has heal even more. Heenan said that they're not overlooking Atlanta. He put Atlanta over as a good team that made a bad trade when they got rid of Stan Lane for Tiger Mask.
- Curt Hennig was vocal about wanting to be traded to any team. "I'll even go to Montreal.", Hennig was quoted as saying after his team's second loss of the Playoffs, but their fourth overall loss of the season to New Orleans. Atlanta coach Dusty Rhodes wouldn't comment.
- Jesse Ventura said that he's shocked Philadelphia haven't done better against his team. "I figured we'd at least have split. I'm honestly stunned." He said the decision to bench Ed Lewis was, "More to give the rest of the team the chance to shine." When asked about having four draft picks due to the early season trade to New Orleans and if he would waive any of his players, Ventura said, "Look, I've built the team around Dan [Severn] and Brent [Albright], they're not going anywhere. If I were to get rid of Inoki and Lewis, I'd make sure they were given to a team that could use them."
- Gary Hart said he thought Jacobs performed admirably against the Pioneers team, but also said he regretted not starting Jack Swagger instead of King Kong Bundy.

WWL TV Playoffs Game Three Recap:
The format for the Playoffs have changed. Instead of an elimination match, games are now 2/3 falls team matches.
St. Louis (0-3) @ Oklahoma City (3-0): With Harley Race leading the team, the Spirits entered Oklahoma City Arena looking to stay alive in the series, but couldn't get the job done. Fall one saw St. Louis come out of the gate strong, ending with Harley Race pinning Eddie Edwards with a Piledriver. Fall two was a war, seeing Race bleed from several shots from Steve Williams. Williams would pin Harley to end that fall and in overtime, Eddie Edwards submitted Claudio Castagnoli. OKC advance.
Detroit (2-1) @ Orlando (1-2): The Riot and the Hurricanes clashed, this time in Orlando, and there's nothing to demoralize a team quite like a two fall loss to a team they didn't beat during the season. Sabu pinned Ted DiBiase in the opening fall, and in fall two, there was a repeat performance. Orlando gets Games 4 and 5 at home, and they need a win next time out to stay alive.
Philadelphia (0-3) @ New York City (3-0): Unfortunately for the fans at Madison Square Garden, they will only see this matchup once during the playoffs. This was a classic, with both teams not willing to give a single inch, and the crowd had both teams well represented. Steve Corino was able to get Brent Albright in fall one with Old School Expulsion, and it was all downhill from there. Dan Severn submitted Justin Credible in fall two with the beast choker, and in fall three, Antonio Inoki hit the Enzugiri on Corino. NYC advance to the next round.
New Orleans (3-0) @ Atlanta (0-3): A sold out Georgia Dome came out to support the Fire, but in the end, the Destroyers put it out for good with a two fall victory. Andre the Giant came to Atlanta to tear down the opposition and he did just that, pinning Roderick Strong in fall one, and pinning Tiger Mask in fall two. ATL are bumped out, New Orleans advances to take on the Titans.
Mexico City (0-3) @ Portland (3-0): Due to Mexico City becoming increasingly dangerous, the game was played again at the Rose Garden. The new rules seemed to have benefited Los Bandidos, but in the end were their downfall. Dennis Condrey would lose fall one to DDP and the Diamond Cutter. Mil Mascaras couldn't get his team back into the match as he lost the second fall quickly to Giant Baba. Portland advance to face the winners of the Savages/Lions.
San Francisco (0-3) @ San Diego (3-0): Qualcomm Stadium is the sight for every Savages Playoff game this year, and the Big Q watched as their Savages defeated San Francisco for the third straight game. Gorgeous George won the first fall over Jay Briscoe. The Briscoes retaliated with a Doomsday Device to Brian Blair and in the third fall, Chris Hero would lose to Kingston's Lariat. San Diego will take on the Lumberjacks next round in what could be a classic series.
Tokyo (3-0) @ Seattle (0-3): The Dragons have been an up and down kind of team all year but in Game Three they showed why they are a playoff team by disposing of the Thunderheads easily. Ray Stevens lost the first fall to Rikidozan's thunderous chops. Kip James attempted to claim the second fall, but Frank Gotch had other ideas.
New Mexico (2-1) @ Utah (1-2): Gary Hart started Jack Swagger, King Kong Bundy, and Jimmy Jacobs tonight, and it paid dividends. The Masked Superstar won the first fall over Jimmy Jacobs, which had the home crowd on their feet as Jack Swagger beat Red Bastien. The third fall went long, but in the end, a Gutwrench Powerbomb from Swagger, an Avalanche from Bundy, and Jacobs' End Time would put away the Masked Superstar.

WWL TV Games Four AND five Recap:One team is going home while two continue to fight it out to stay alive in the playoffs. Game Four happened tonight, and it was heated. Detroit (2-2) @ Orlando (2-2):The Hurricanes have had a lot of trouble dealing with the Detroit Riot this year, and tonight's game showed that if nothing else, Orlando may be able to scrape by against a scrappy, dirty team like Detroit. Sabu was pinned in the first fall by Bobby Eaton. The second fall saw Terry Gordy pin Bobby Eaton with his Powerbomb, and the final fall had Ted DiBiase taking out The Missing Link with the Million Dollar Dream. New Mexico (3-1) @ Utah (1-3):Gary Hart's one of the smartest coaches in the league. The first fall, his lineup looked weaker with Bundy/Stevens/Jacobs vs. Utah's three veterans. After the first fall loss to Jim Londos, he brought Swagger in off the bench to replace Stevens, and it paid dividends as the "All American American" pinned The Masked Superstar. The lineup changed again for the third fall as Bundy was joined by One Man Gang. The size and power of those behemoths and the talent of Jack Swagger netter a third fall victory over Red Bastien, New Mexico advances to face Tokyo next round. Game Five Recap:Orlando (2-3) @ Detroit (3-2):Back home at the Joe Louis Arena, the Riot took down the Hurricanes in Game Five to advance to the next round. This would be nearly a repeat performance of Game Four, as Sabu took the first fall, and Eaton the second. The third fall saw Terry Gordy unload every big move he had on virtually everyone the Hurricanes had, and in the end, Gordy would get DiBiase to win the series. Detroit advances to take on the Oklahoma City Outlaws. With these games in the book, this is how the Playoffs are looking for next round:

WWL TV Playoffs Round Two Game One Recap:
The Giant returns to the Garden with a mission: Trample the Titans. The Riot comes face to face with the Outlaws, and we have a shootout in the Wild Wild West. No time to waste here, let's get to the recap!
Detroit (0-1) @ Oklahoma City (1-0): The Outlaws had the benefit of starting this series at home, and nearly fell apart at the seems as the Riot took it straight to them. OKC won the first fall when Danny Hodge got Sabu, but Detroit sent in Terry Gordy in the second fall, and he essentially dominated the entire Outlaws roster before pinning Eddie Edwards with a Powerbomb. Fall three saw Gordy and Williams clash, which Doc narrowly won with a German suplex. OKC goes up 1-0 for now, but they've got to get it together.
New Orleans (1-0) @ New York City (0-1): The Garden was vocal as Andre the Giant returned for the first time since Week 1 when he was a part of the Titans. This was a Happy Homecoming for Andre, but not the NYC crowd as Andre pinned Dan Severn in the first all with the Big Splash, and Ed Lewis in the second fall with the Big Splash. The Giant wasn't playing around, and it seems like NYC's playoff dreams are going down the tubes.
San Diego (1-0) @ Portland (0-1): It was a pretty good opening night for away teams as the Lumberjacks had to take on a San Diego team that was on a mission. Kingston and the Briscoes wrestled the entire match, picking apart DDP and Ox Baker, and keeping Giant Baba out of the ring whenever possible. Kingston took the first fall with a lariat to Baker, and the second with the Sliding D to DDP. San Diego showing once again that the people who doubted them at the beginning of the season were dead wrong as they go up 1-0 over the top team in the West.
New Mexico (1-0) @ Tokyo (0-1): This isn't really a shock. The Coyotes' calling card is that they beat teams that nobody expects them to, and if they do it three more times after tonight, it's game over for the Dragons. The Tokyo Dome seemed to support both teams, with chants for both throughout the match. Tokyo had Frank Gotch in the ring the most with a total of 22:14 out of 38:09, and he took the brunt of a brutal beating from Jack Swagger and One Man Gang. Gotch got the first fall over Jimmy Jacobs, who was subbed out for Erick Stevens in the second fall. Swagger pinned Gotch with the Gutwrench Powerbomb in Fall 2, and Bundy's Avalanche took out Jushin Liger in the third fall.
POST-GAME: - At the press conference after the Destroyers/Titans game, Jesse Ventura was asked what he thought about Andre dominating his team. Ventura smiled and said, "I didn't expect anything less from him, and I hope that he shows up that motivated every night because without him I don't think they stand a chance."
- Jim Ross said the Riot are a tremendous team with a lot of good talent, and thinks the series against them may very well go down to the wire. Ross was vocal about wanting to sign Terry Gordy for next season, or even make a trade with Detroit.
- DDP commented on the Lumberjacks' loss to the Savages, saying, "We've been a marked team since the get-go. We ended with the overall second best record in the league. San Diego is a good team, but we're better."
- Bill Watts was a guest on SportsCenter. Watts said Oklahoma City and New York City won't make it to the conference finals. "Their weaknesses have been exposed.", said Watts. "Jim's got a good line up, but once you get Edwards or Aries in there and work 'em over, you've got a fall easy right there. And the Titans have changed lineups so much that it doesn't benefit them. They've got a good group, but again, kill off one of them and the team can't function." Watts said Detroit would beat OKC 4-2, and predicted that New Orleans would sweep NYC.

WWL Round Two Game Two Recap:
Detroit (1-1) @ Oklahoma City (1-1): The Riot returned to Oklahoma City Arena tonight with the intention of splitting the series, and that's exactly what they did as they took the fight right to JR's crew. The first fall went to Detroit as Candido pinned Austin Aries. Both teams made a lineup change in the second fall, and Steve Williams pinned The Missing Link with the backdrop driver. Fall three once again saw Doc and Gordy go at it, with Gordy's powerbomb deciding the fall, and Game 2 along with it.
New Orleans (2-0) @ New York City (0-2): Andre returned to the Garden again, but to a much more hostile crowd than he had to deal with in game one. It didn't bother the Giant as he once again nearly beat the Titans on his own. Fall one was won by Rick Rude over Dan Severn via the Rude Awakening. Fall two ended right after that as Andre hit a Big Splash on Severn. New Orleans is just two games away from sweeping one of the best teams in the league to advance to the Conference Finals.
San Diego (2-0) @ Portland (0-2): Never underestimate how bad Eddie Kingston wants to win a game. He nearly fouled out tonight due to closed fists, but ended up refraining from doing so, and it helped his team secure the victory over a very tired Portland team. Ox Baker took the Backfist to the Future to end the first all, and the Briscoes hit him with a Doomsday Device to end the second fall. The Savages will play the next two games at home, and may end up closing out the series at home.
New Mexico (2-0) @ Tokyo (0-2): Tokyo didn't benefit from Home Field Advantage this game either, as New Mexico brought a tough, tough team to the Dome and proceeded to show the league that you can never overlook them. Jack Swagger pinned Jushin Liger in the first fall with the Red, White, and Blue Thunder Bomb. Tokyo responded as Rikidozan used the thunderous chops to beat King Kong Bundy. In the third fall, Davey Richards would be hit by an Avalanche, a 747 Splash, and a Doctor Bomb from Erick Stevens to end the night for Tokyo. Tokyo will play the next two in Santa Fe, and it is not looking good.
POST-GAME: - Jesse Ventura was humble yet again at the post-game conference, saying that Andre being back has revitalized the Destroyers. He noted that Andre could have won both falls yet again, but let Rick Rude win the first fall. Ventura knows that they have an uphill battle from here, but is confident they can win it.
- Jim Ross said he's happy that Detroit brought their A-Game to OKC tonight, but said that he's not worried that they're going to win four straight. "To say they're going to do that is just not possible. They're a good team, but winning four straight over us when you only get two at home? It's not likely."
- DDP talked about the second loss to San Diego. He said, "Look guys, the fact of the matter is that we aren't as young as that team. We're better than them, but after almost 40 games, we're tired. Not to taint their victory, but had this been at the beginning of the season, it would be going very differently.

Insomnia...it leads to more of this. I seriously need to sleep, but I don't see that happening soon.
WWL Playoffs Round Two, Game Three Recap:
Oklahoma City (1-2) @ Detroit (2-1): The Riot took down the Outlaws once again, this time at home at the Joe in Detroit as 14,000+ packed the building to support the hometown team. Jim Ross got a lot of trouble in this game, much more than he ever bargained for as Sabu pinned Steve Williams in the first fall, and the second fall saw The Missing Link of all people scoring a pinfall over Danny Hodge. Detroit is up 2-1 on the series, who could have predicted that?
New York City (0-3) @ New Orleans (3-0): You don't ever anger a giant, and New York seems to have done just that. Andre played his role of enemy destroyer tonight, and helped his teammates get pins over the Titans. His Big Splash to Brent Albright set up Chuck Taylor getting his first pin of the playoffs, and in the second fall, Andre's Splash helped Rick Rude put away Ed Lewis. New York have yet to win one single fall against the Destroyers, and with Game four being in New Orleans, it seems like we might be all done here.
Portland (1-2) @ San Diego (2-1): DDP said it best, Portland is an old team. They took the road trip to San Diego this week to prove that they had fight left in them and they took out the San Diego Savages in a close, close match. Eddie Kingston hit Ox Baker with the lariat to win fall one. Giant Baba finally got into the ring, and hit the Neckbreaker Drop on Jay Briscoe to get the second fall, and in the third, Mark Briscoe felt the BANG as DDP hit the Diamond Cutter. Portland may be walking uphill from here, but it's a start.
Tokyo (0-3) @ New Mexico (3-0): Tokyo have fallen apart against New Mexico as Gary Hart proves he might just be the best coach in the league when it comes to his rotations in matches. Jack Swagger got Davey Richards in fall one with the Red, White, and Blue Thunder Bomb. Fall two? It was more of the same as Swagger hit the Gutwrench Powerbomb. New Mexico is one win away from advancing to the conference finals.

WWL Playoffs Recap: Game Four:
Oklahoma City (2-2) @ Detroit (2-2): OKC ties the series at 2-2 at the Joe in Detroit as JR changed his team up just a little bit, starting Hodge/Edwards/Aries/Bockwinkel. They wrestled two of the three falls, and had a good run doing so. First fall went to OKC as Eddie Edwards beat Sabu. Second fall saw Detroit get revenge as The Missing Link pinned Aries. Third fall saw Steve Williams hit the Oklahoma Stampede on Missing Link to keep Oklahoma in the Playoffs.
New York City (0-4) @ New Orleans (4-0): Andre continued to smash through New York while setting up his teammates getting the win. New York also continued to not have a single victory in the series as far as falls went. Andre hi the Big Splash on Ed Lewis, setting up a win for Rick Rude. Fall two saw Andre rest on the bench as Mike Quackenbush came in but it didn't matter, Rude hit the Rude Awakening on Brent Albright to end the series.
Portland (1-3) @ San Diego (3-1): It was another shootout in the West as the Lumberjacks took on the Savages at Qualcomm, and this would not go the way that Portland wanted it to. Eddie Kingston and the Briscoes started again for San Diego, and tore the veteran team down. Ox Baker lost to a Doomsday Device from the Briscoes in fall one. Fall two saw DDP fall to Eddie Kingston's Sliding D. San Diego is one win away from the Western Conference finals, whereas Portland has to win three straight to advance.
Tokyo (0-4) @ New Mexico (4-0): Plagued with Rikidozan's arm injury, Tokyo was at a distinct disadvantage going into the final game of the series, and the Coyotes devoured the Dragons in a two-fall victory. One Man Gang pinned Jushin Liger, and to add insult to injury, he did it again in the second fall. New Mexico sweeps Tokyo, and are now one half of the conference finals.

WWL TV Recap: Detroit vs. OKC - The Bitter End:With other teams advancing to the Conference Finals, OKC/Detroit were tied 2-2 after Game Four. They would fight to the very much bitter end to see who would take on New Orleans. Game 5: Oklahoma City welcomed their heroes back to the OKC Arena, and they took the fight to the Riot, but it would be a losing effort as Sabu's Arabian Facebuster put the final nail in the coffin of the Outlaws. Detroit 3, OKC 2. Game 6: The Outlaws kicked it into a higher gear in this match, winning two straight falls as Williams hit the Backdrop on Gordy, and Aries hit the 450 Splash on Sabu. Series tied at 3-3, meaning that Game 7 was inevitable. Game 7: This would be the end of the line for one team. Who would advance, would it be the well oiled Oklahoma machine, or the scrappy, never say die Detroit Riot? That question would be answered in what was the greatest game of the season to this point, lasting nearly 70 minutes. Fall one saw Eddie Edwards beat Chris Candido, a clear indication that OKC planned to re-enact their victory from the previous game. Sabu would change that in fall two, beating Nick Bockwinkel. The third fall had the crowd on their feet for the entire fall, and they would blow the roof off the Oklahoma City Arena as Steve Williams hit the Oklahoma Stampede on Sabu to give OKC the win in a classic Game 7. That being said, this is what we're looking at for the Conference Finals: Conference Finals Preview coming up.

WWL TV: The Conference Finals, Meet the Teams:
Tonight is the start of the WWL Conference Finals and when you look at the four teams involved, two completely different stories are told between the East and the West. Let's take a look.
Oklahoma City had the best season out of any team in the league, dropping only three games, two of them to Chicago, who didn't even end up in the playoffs. They've had a strong lineup the entire season, but the acquisitions of Steve Williams, Nick Bockwinkel, Eddie Edwards, and Austin Aries have put them over the top. They amassed a 23 game win streak during the season, and have never at any point looked like they had a weakness.
New Orleans was a team that Bill Watts claimed would win 30 games. They didn't, and thanks to Watts had to play essentially the entire season without Andre the Giant. The Destroyers have scrapped and clawed to get here, and with Andre back, OKC may just be in for the fight of their lives.
In the West, however, we talk about two teams who had very rough starts to the season.
New Mexico had nearly 10 losses before Gary Hart released almost the entire team, and went with a completely new lineup. Since then, New Mexico has looked like a true contender. The key to playoff success has been the youth and power of Jack Swagger paired with the sheer size of One Man Gang and King Kong Bundy. From the worst team in the West to the Conference Finals, that's a hell of a change to undergo in one season.
San Diego had a tough time getting off the ground, but once they acquired Larry Hennig and the Briscoes, the pieces of the puzzle were in place, and they never looked back. They're a scrappy team, and they'll take the fight right to you. Against the Coyotes, though, this may just be a mistake.
So let's get to it, the Conference Finals Recap is next!
WWL TV Conference Finals Night One Recap:
New Orleans (1-0) @ Oklahoma City (0-1): These two teams met all the way back on Week 14, when the Destroyers were without a giant and OKC was on top of the world. They came to OKC to avenge that loss, and they did it in grand fashion, taking a two fall victory over the Outlaws. Andre the Giant continued to tear the opposition down and set up his teammates for wins as he helped Brodie Lee pin Steve Williams, and then Andre himself finished off Austin Aries to give the Destroyers the first win of what could be a classic Conference Finals.
New Mexico (0-1) @ San Diego (1-0): The Savages came back to Qualcomm to take on the Coyotes, and it was a SHOOT OUT. Neither team wanted to give an inch, and Gary Hart's team looked human for the first time in the post season. Jack Swagger pinned Eddie Kingston in fall one. Fall two saw Gary Hart take out Jimmy Jacobs and send in Erick Stevens. Stevens would then take the fall to the Briscoes, and in fall three, Larry Hennig put down the One Man Gang to end the game. The Savages are up 1-0.
