That's it! They should definitely be in the top 50. (maybe in the 40s)

Looking at the list again, I'm really surprised at how high Strike Force (Santana/Martel) is. Good team, but I didn't expect to see them #12 on a Top 50 list.

#12 shows that I think someone was pulling names from a list of championship reigns and was never really around at the time. The crowds were really turning on Strike Force during their reign. Demolition got a huge pop when they won the tag titles at Wrestlemania IV.

Obvious dubbed in pop while the fans were just like "What the fuck man"

You know, I've seen that match once or twice and I can't for the life of my remember a thing about that match. I can see why they never got over. Boring and dull doesn't begin to describe them as a team.

Also, if you talk to WWF fans from that era. You'll hear them talk about the Can-Am Connection or his Martel/Garea well before anyone ever thinks to mention Strike Force.

I've talked to a bunch of fans from that era, none of them remember the Can-Am Connection other than the opening match at WrestleMania III. Martel/Garea's a bit before that era, too, like the early 80s. Strike Force are a forgettable team, but at least they can claim they had the match of the night at the biggest show of the year. (WrestleMania IV, I know everybody likes DiBiase/Savage, but it really wasn't that good of a match, Demos/Strike Force was better) It seems when most people talk about Santana and Martel, it's about them feuding rather than teaming, which is cool by me, they had great matches against one another. I never saw the big deal about Tony Garea I know he was a long time WWF tag team guy but he was horrible worker IMO Agreed 100%.
