I jump into aCe on the "better late than never" bandwagon. On that note, there's no better way to start than with the Centra Cup.
Centra Cup 01.01.2123 from Centra Palladium, Centra Prime
- First Round Match - Aspin Northstar vs. Witchdoctor Aspin Northstar defeated Witchdoctor with a NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Aspin's exciting style was the perfect contrast to the brawling tactics of the Witchdoctor. Aspin put on a display early, but was caught and grounded. The doctor seemed poised for the win when he used DEATH'S SPECTRUM but he took too long putting on a display of histrionics before going for the pin and Aspin kicked out. Northstar managed to get back into the match and hit his Northern Lights Suplex for the pin.
- First Round Match - Esperanto vs. Totalis Esperanto defeated Totalis with a rollup in corner after missed turnbuckle charge Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Totalis was looking to cement his reputation as "The Tournament Master" at the hands of the veteran fighter, but Esperanto had other ideas. The action got heated and went to the floor, where the lawman showed that he can brawl with the best of them. Totalis still managed a comeback inside the ring and scored a near fall. Totalis finally made the mistake of charging into the corner at his opponent, Esperanto moved, and rolled Totalis up with the schoolboy for the pin.
- First Round Match - Lance At-Las vs. Nightmare Nightmare defeated Lance At-Las with a countout Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Nightmare attacked at the bell and never let up. Lance fought back for a moment, but Nightmare shook it off and continued his assault. He finally knocked Lance out of the ring, went to the top rope, and performed a dive to the floor that took At-Las out for the referee's ten count.
- First Round Match - Avarice vs. Hustler Hustler defeated Avarice with a disqualification Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Hustler started strong, but Avarice quickly overcame him with his superior wrestling ability. Avarice went for the quick win with 7th SIN, but Hustler miraculously kicked out. Avarice punished him for a while, but Hustler mounted some return offense and Avarice retreated from the ring. Hustler followed, but Avarice grabbed a chair from ringside and brought it down on Hustler's skull to prompt the disqualification.
After the bell, The Brother Oakan came to the ring on Avarice's orders and attacked Hustler. The performed stereo dives off the top rope onto the downed fighter until Scorch and Esperanto ran out to make the save.
Hustler injured 4 cards.
- First Round Match - Paganax vs. Mr. Bloat Paganax defeated Mr. Bloat with a Modified PAGAN VOID Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Bloat attacked with the blades at the bell, but Paganax quickly shook it off and came back with a beatdown the oversized con couldn't overcome. He finished it with an exclamation point with the Pagan Void cutter (minus the press slam).
- First Round Match - Scud vs. Nes Kincade Nes Kincade defeated Scud with a MTFO Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: With Avarice disqualified it was up to Nes Kincade to get his team represented in the second round. The cocky upstart put on a display of arrogance and agility en route to picking up the win to advance. The young Scud got in some exciting offense, but Nes was never in any real trouble before picking up the win with his spectacular finisher.
- First Round Match - Godsend vs. Pendragon Pendragon defeated Godsend with an OVERTHROW Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Godsend took advantage of the opponent's lack of in-ring experience, but all it took was one mistake to get Pendragon back into the match. A springboard forearm and OVERTHROW later and Pendragon had picked up his first win over the dangerous Godsend.
- First Round Match - Peacemaker vs. Darkseed Darkseed defeated Peacemaker with a countout Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Godsend was still disputing the results of his match when Peacemaker made his way down the aisle for the next bout. Peacemaker got in his face and demanded Godsend return to the locker room area. Godsend smiled and was all too quick to oblige. The match commenced and was a tremendously hard-hitting affair between two powerhouses.
In the end the action made it's way to the floor. The referee ordered Darkseed back into the ring after a suplex on the floor. As the ref argued with Darkseed Godsend ran out and blasted Peacemaker from behind with a knee to the back that sent him flying headfirst into the steel corner post. Godsend ducked out of sight and watched on with an evil smile on his face as Peacemaker was counted out.
- The Nemean Show - Nemean debuted his interview show in spectacular fashion. Lights, pyrotechnics, music, and excitement ensued as Nemean made his grand appearance and welcomed everyone to the show. He then began to run down the credentials of his first guest, Amazing Mann. Mann appeared in a cloud of smoke and thrilled the fans by easily freeing himself from the straight jacket he was wearing. Nemean said that was impressive, but wondered what he can do in the ring against the competition aCe has to offer. Mann was not concerned, saying that he's faced and beaten the best in the rings of the GWF and he's ready to do the same in aCe. More importantly, he stated, thanks to the "generosity of Syndicate Technologies" he's here to provide the fans the greatest show they've ever seen.
Nemean seemed bored with Mann's answer, and asked why he decided not to throw his name into the Centra Cup and prove himself right away. Amazing Mann said he didn't simply want to be one of sixteen, he wanted to be THE one. On that note, he announced the beginning of the UNBREAKABLE Tour (sponsored by Syndicate Tech). Mann vowed to meet any and all challengers brave enough to meet him in the most exciting matches imaginable in every arena across the territory. Nemean was looking down at his nails and yawning while Mann spoke. Upon seeing that Amazing Mann got angry and asked if Nemean wants to be the first stop on the Unbreakable Tour (sponsored by Syndicate Tech). Nemean got serious and told him that he'd better start slow and work his way up the ladder to him if Mann wants this tour to be a success. There was a tense silence and it looked like the situation would come to blows before Nemean broke the tension by turning his back on Mann, walking away and playing to the crowd. Nemean thanked everyone for coming out to see the REAL greatest show in ANY galaxy, the Nemean Show. The lights went out and when they came back on Amazing Mann was gone.
Second Round matches Aspin Norhstar vs. Esperanto Nightmare vs. Hustler Paganax vs. Nes Kincade Pendragon vs. Darkseed
notes:That didn't go quite like I envisioned! Totalis has been eliminated in the first round, which does nothing to advance his reputation as the Tournament Master. He'll be looking to save some face on the first show after the tourney. I also was not expecting Hustler to make it past Avarice, but the roll of doubles after the match and the resulting roll on the feud table worked out perfectly. Obviously the top bracket looks a little weaker than the bottom half of round two, but that's just the way the upsets fell.

- Second Round Match - Aspin Northstar vs. Esperanto Esperanto defeated Aspin Northstar with a DEAD MAN'S HAND Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: The match began with a handshake at the bell and then the niceties were forgotten as the competitors attempted to advance to the semi-final round. A clean match with plenty of hard strikes, as Esperanto used his fists and Aspin his feet, ensued. Both men absorbed tremendous amounts of punishment and continued to kick out of pins when it looked like the match should surely be over. Finally Esperanto managed to make it to the top rope to use his finisher and secure the win.
- Second Round Match - Hustler vs. Nightmare Nightmare defeated Hustler with a MIND BENDER Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: The injured Hustler fought valiantly, and dominated the opening minutes of the match. It looked like he would overcome his disadvantage and pick up the win anyway, but it was not to be. Nightmare lasted long enough to wear out Hustler and score the win with his second MIND BENDER of the match.
- Second Round Match - Paganax vs. Nes Kincade Paganax defeated Nes Kincade with a Guillotine Lariat Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: The ultimate bout of power versus agility went down between the Heathen Chief and the up-and-coming loudmouth. Kincade surprised everyone by hanging in with Paganax until the very end, and actually almost got the win with MTFO. He also shocked the fans when he managed to kick out at two-and-three quarters after the PAGAN VOID. A giant lariat finally put Nes down and kept him there for the pin.
- Second Round Match - Pendragon vs. Darkseed Darkseed defeated Pendragon with a Belly Of The Beast Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: The combatants tore into each other in a power struggle that lasted from bell to bell. Pendragon kept putting Darkseed down, but the dark one's resilience on defense kept helping him to bounce right back up. Finally Darkseed lifted his knees as Pendragon charged the corner for the Dragonlance and followed up with Belly Of The Beast. Pendragon kicked out but Darkseed was undeterred and simply went up to the second buckle to use the move one more time for the pin.
- Semi-Final match - Esperanto vs. Nightmare Nightmare defeated Esperanto with a MIND BENDER Match Rating: 0.00 Match Notes: Esperanto charged at the bell, Nightmare ducked and retaliated with the Dread Lariat for a one count. He followed up with the MIND BENDER and cruised into the final round.
- Semi-Final Match - Paganax vs. Darkseed Paganax defeated Darkseed with a PAGAN VOID Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: A slobber knocker match by definition, this one ended when the injured but determined Paganax used his finisher on the massive adversary and got the pin.
- Final Match - Nightmare vs. Paganax Paganax defeated Nightmare with a bearhug backbreaker Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Nightmare attacked the battle weary Paganax early and had him in trouble, but the Chief fought back. Nightmare was able to avoid several big moves, used a Spear Of Shadows, and covered Paganax for the pin. That's when Darkseed entered the ring. Nightmare got up to try to figure out what his supposed teammate was doing and got hit with the spiked mace for his troubles. He reeled around as Paganax got up and was caught in a bear hug backbreaker. That move was all she wrote for Nightmare as Paganax got the pinfall and was declared the winner of the Centra Cup.
After the match Darkseed yelled that there was no way another demon was stealing his thunder tonight and if he can't win the Centra Cup then neither will Nightmare. Godsend watched on from the entrance and laughed.
While all of that was going on Paganax was inside the ring being awarded the Centra Cup. He dedicated the win to the Father Primus and vowed to win the aCe championship for his fallen people.
Coming up on the next show:[/color] - Peacemaker looks for revenge against Godsend, Hustler and Scorch face the Brothers Oaken in a grudge match to begin the tag team title tournament, two other tournament matches will be held, Amazing Mann begins the "Unbreakable Tour" (sponsored by Syndicate Tech) against Lance At-Las, and Totalis has challenged tournament winner Paganax to face him one-on-one in the main event.

aCe show #2 01.08.2123 from Arena Tarkania, Centra Prime
Scud vs. Witchdoctor Witchdoctor defeated Scud with a Death's Spectrum Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Scud hit fast and hard, but didn't have enough to do any serious damage. Witchdoctor took him down and tossed him out of the ring, then beat him down for the decisive victory.
- Regulators - The Regulators hit the ring and wasted no time calling out the Brothers Oaken. Hustler said the match coming up isn't about the tag team titles, it's about respect and retribution. He said he's hurt, but not enough to give a couple of punks the satisfaction of rolling over and staying down. The brothers, not known for eloquent speeches or social graces, just rushed the ring and gave the Regulators what they wanted by starting the bout in a brawl.
- tag team title tournament; round one - Hustler and Scorch vs. The Brothers Oaken This match ended in a draw (brawl on the arena floor) Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: The teams tore into each other hard, with Scorch picking up the slack for his injured partner and seeing the bulk of the action. Near the end of the lengthy match Hustler got caught in the COUPE DE GRACE but was saved from being pinned by Scorch's interference. Rorus kicked Hustler out of the ring after that and followed. Scorch ran over to make the save and a team brawl got started. The ref could not control the action and finally had to call for the disqualification.
- tag team title tournament; round one - Primeval Destruction vs. Shock Syndicate Holocaust defeated Warfare with a disqualification Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Former partners in a different lifetime, Warfare and Flatliner started the match. Flatliner tagged in Holocaust and the two big men of their respective teams traded heavy shots with neither gaining the advantage. Holocaust finally tossed Warfare into the ropes and both hit clotheslines. Holocaust got up first and clotheslined Warfare over the top rope. Warfare grabbed his hammers and used one on Holocaust to get himself disqualified. Inside the ring Hybrid grabbed Flatliner and used the POSION DRIVER. Shock Syndicate won the match, but it looked like Primeval Destruction won the war.
- Unbreakable Tour Begins - A hush fell over the arena as Amazing Mann's music began to play and strobe lights scanned the corwd. Suddenly Mann appeared, suspended from the top of the arena by a chain wrapped around his body. As the chain lowered Mann down to the ring, he frantically contorted and positioned his body to free himself just as he hit the ring. Mann took the mic and told everyone that no bonds were unbreakable to him, but anyone who steps in the ring with him on the Unbreakable Tour (sponsored by Syndicate Tech) will find themselves trapped in a very unbreakable hold from which the only escape is submission. He said there was bound to be someone foolish enough to step down the aisle and become the first victim, so he was leaving it up to any one of them to make the move to be first in a long line of broken and defeated opponents. After some of the required pause for dramatic effect, LANCE AT-LAS calmly made his way to the ring in typical business-like fashion.
Lance At-Las vs. The Amazing Mann Lance At-Las defeated The Amazing Mann with a MARS MANHANDLER Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: An amazing match full of counters and reversals was marred at the end by the appearance of Nemean at ringside. The fans delighted in his impromptu live, open mic commentary as he insulted Mann's every move. The end result was that Mann got distracted and Lance got the win, starting The Amazing one's aCe career on a sour note.
- tag team title tournament; round one - The Archangels vs. The Others Exodus defeated Odyssey with a WRATH OF GOD Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Exodus stated his mission before the bout: keep the Others from winning the Essence and prevent potential disaster from happening. The match saw him do just that, as he scored the winning fall and saw his team advance to the next round of the tag team title tournament.
Peacemaker vs. Godsend Peacemaker defeated Godsend with a PEACEMAKER'S OATH Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Peacemaker got some measure of revenge on Godsend for costing him a win in the match against Darkseed at the Centra Cup. The big man picked up the decisive win and put Godsend's record at 0-2 for the year.
- The Nemean Show - Nemean came to the ring with his usual fanfare to begin the Nemean Show. He said he knows he's got a target on his back now as far as Amazing Mann is concerned but he's not worried about it at all. Nemean said The Syndicate had better remember that he's got back up too if they get any ideas about sending their goons to soften him up: big, mean, nasty backup. With that serving as proper enough introduction, VENTROSS came to the ring.
Nemean started by telling everyone that Ventross isn't known for his linguistic skills so he'd be carrying the load of the talking. Ventross replied that he can speak just fine with either his words or his actions. Nemean told him that he heard Ventross wasn't exactly a "spectacular cunning linguistic" though. Ventross rebutted that he was adequate, to which Nemean shot back "that's what she said." Ventross roared "what WHO said?" and Nemean knew the joke had probably gone far enough (and that no one likes bad old jokes).
With the comedy portion of the show out of the way, Nemean talked about Paganax success in the Centra Cup and his very physical refusal to Ventross' offer for him to join The Six. Ventross said he made a mistake by believing the savage chief could join anyone, much less the Six, and that he's learned nothing from the misfortune that befell his people. Ventross also noted that Paganax vowed to win the aCe championship, but the way to that title goes through Ventross and that's a path Paganax will not pass. Nemean was pleased to announce that the aCe championship WOULD be decided in a huge six-man scramble match as the main event of a big card to be held in Syndicate Stadium on Primus. It was noted that Syndicate Stadium is now "enemy territory" on several fronts and is bound to give Paganax something more to fight for. Ventross had no worries and said he welcomed the challenge. Tired of talking, Ventross decided to leave on that note. Nemean said his closing words and that spelled the end of another edition of The Nemean Show.
Paganax vs. Totalis Paganax defeated Totalis with a PAGAN VOID Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Totalis did everything he could to defeat the massive chief from Primus but Paganax, perhaps spurred on by Ventross' words aimed at him earlier, showed the determination that took him to the Centra Cup by holding on to beat Totalis in impressive fashion with the PAGAN VOID.
Overall Card Rating: 2.96

aCe show #3 01.22.2123
Before the first match, it was announced that the winners of the final three singles bouts tonight would join Paganax and Ventross in the 6-man scramble match to determine the new aCe Essence champion. The sixth participant would be decided in a special challenge match the night of the championship bout.
Aspin Northstar vs. Nes Kincade Nes Kincade defeated Aspin Northstar with a New Schoolboy Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: Nes talked trash at the bell and got smacked. He begged off and hit Aspin with a low blow as he got close. From there, it he tossed Aspin to the floor, but Northstar came back and whipped him into the ringpost. Aspin went for the FLASH OF BRILLIANCE and missed, which pretty much ended the match right there. Nes hit a few nice moves, then pulled out the NEW SCHOOLBOY to get the pin.
The gaudy Syndicate advertisement/introduction began with the annoying commercial announcer voice telling fans that "no one but Syndicate Tech could bring you not one, but TWO exciting matches featuring the state-of-the-art, efficient, and sporty looking Holocaust as he tackles the obsolete model of terrestrial fighting, Warfare. Then, he teams with the equally impressive Flatliner to debunk the myth of higher consciousness and angelic intervention for all of you consumer rationalists who won't settle for anything less than the latest and greatest products from the 'real universe' of innovation from Syndicate Tech."
Warfare vs. Holocaust Warfare defeated Holocaust with a Warlock Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Warfare fought like the madman he is and ended up running up the damage on his opponent before getting the victory with the Warlock. Afterward Warfare threw a well-placed hand gesture in the direction of the huge Syndicate billboard that appears in the entrance ramp for all of the Syndicate members' matches.
Esperanto vs. Avarice Avarice defeated Esperanto with a 7th SIN Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Esperanto dominated the early portion of the bout and essentially beat up Avarice with multiple lariats and blows about the head. Avarice got back into things and the action heated up. Esperanto came back from several near falls, but a second 7th Sin DDT ended up winning the bout for Avarice. Avarice moves on to the 6-man scramble for the Essence championship.
Darkseed vs. Nightmare Nightmare defeated Darkseed with the Spear Of Shadows Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: A quick, but brutal, fight ended when Nightmare absorbed several heavy shots and came back with a "Spear Of Shadows" out of nowhere (as the name would imply) to get the quick pin. Nightmare advances to the 6-man scramble for the Essence championship.
- No disqualification match - Hustler and Scorch vs. The Brothers Oaken Donk Oaken defeated Hustler with a Coupe De Grace Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: The two teams beat each other senseless and more senseless until Hustler took the upper hand on Rorus and went for the pin. That's when Mr. Bloat, Painmaster, and Sycophant stormed the ring and attacked Hustler and Scorch. Since this was a no disqualification match the referee could do little more than watch. When the damage had been done the Brothers used their finisher on Hustler for the easy win.
After the beatdown the security force tasked with handling the felonious fighters ran in and wrangled them. However, Mr. Bloat still got the opportunity to speak. He said it looked like the "lawmen" of the aCe had forgotten all about them and that was a not-so friendly reminder that they are here and if they can't have their freedom then they'll settle for every belt in aCe.
The diatribe was interrupted by the appearance of Shepard. Shepard told them that he had not forgotten them, and he has a few questions about exactly how they got free to attack like they just did. But those question would wait for another time. Shepard continued by telling Mr. Bloat he'll get his chance to try for the aCe championship the night of the 6-man scramble when they will meet to decide the sixth participant in the title bout.
Nemean vs. The Amazing Mann The Amazing Mann defeated Nemean with an UNBREAKABLE Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Amazing Mann rushed Nemean in a fit of rage at the bell and almost paid the price. He threw the Ravager into the turnbuckle and caught a face full of knee rushing in, which resulted in a near fall. Mann managed to kick out and made a comeback, brutalizing Nemena en route to the win with his punishing submission finisher. Mann was reluctant to release the hold after the bell until VENTROSS stormed the ring and chased him away. Amazing Mann advances to the 6-man scramble for the Essence championship.
- Tag Team Championship Match - Shock Syndicate vs. The Archangels for the aCe Tag Team Championship Gabriel defeated Holocaust with a Judgement Day Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Holocaust and Flatliner seemed to be putting on a show at one point, simply displaying every move in their arsenal against the nearly helpless Exodus. One mistake by Holocaust was all Exodus needed to get back into the action and a quick tag to Gabriel meant the beginning of the end for the Syndicate team. He went on a roll and finished with the Kingdom Come tag team finisher. Exodus kept Flatliner at bay as Gabriel scored the pin and the Archangels became the new Essence tag team champions.
The Archangels won the aCe Tag Team Championship

The Essence Of Combat 02.03.2123 from Syndicate Stadium
- 6-Man Scramble Qualifier - Shepard vs. Mr. Bloat Shepard defeated Mr. Bloat with a springboard sommersault leg drop Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Shepard and Mr. Bloat got the night started off hot with a great match, as both fought with everything they had to move on to the championship match. Bloat used his tremendous size advantage to try to smother and choke out his intended victim, but Shepard proved he is no man's stepping stone and used his superior determination and agility to counter the huge convict at every turn.
It looked like the match would be won when Shepard followed up a spectacular dive from the top rope to the floor by getting Bloat back into the ring and setting for for the EXORCISM. However, Bloat managed to move and take over and nearly got the fall with the "homicidal tendencies" manuver. Shepard fought back and ended up getting the win with a springboard sommersault leg drop.
Pendragon vs. Witchdoctor Pendragon defeated Witchdoctor with a top rope bodypress Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Pendragon looked spectacular against the spook-tacular weird-o of aCe. He was well on his way to the win when he hit the OVERTHROW, but GODSEND appeared at ringside and jumped up on the apron. Pendragon went over to confront him and Godsend grabbed Pendragon and snapped his neck over the top rope. That allowed Witchdoctor to recover and use a power slam to try to soften up his opponent for the win. However, Pendragon was just too much for him and quickly came back with a running forearm and a top rope bodypress for the win.
After the decision Pendragon quickly exited the ring and took off after Godsend, who wasted no time making his retreat. As that was happening, DARKSEED entered the ring from the opposite side and used "Infernal Force" on Witchdoctor, then looked down, sneered and shouted "loser!" before making his way back down the aisle.
Primeval Destruction vs. Shock Syndicate Hybrid defeated Holocaust with an Extinction Level Event Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: The war remains heated between these teams. Flatliner and Holocaust again came to the ring with all of the vapid flare and fanfare the juggernaut corporation Syndicate Tech can supply, but once again proved to be more corporate hype than efficient machine. They wrestled a good match, but their merciless robotic manner was no match for the pure, unrefined fury and passion of Primeval Destruction. The E.L.E. spelled the end as Hybrid took the fall over Holocaust as Warfare kept Flatliner from breaking the pin.
After the match the Syndicate's tag team machine was shutdown, as the power supply seemed to get cut and they both fell in a heap in the ring. Syndicate Tech staff, clad in lab coats emblazoned with the Syn-Tech logo, came out to retrieve the fighters as the annoying Syndicate announcer voice exclaimed,"Coming soon to a ring near you, the new and improved Shock Syndicate! Upgrades! Updates! A brand new color scheme and stylish extras for a new year! All brought to you by the leaders of innovation, Syndicate Tech!"
- Totalis tries to save face - Totalis went to the ring to a mix of scattered boos and disappointing silence. He said he should be respected as the top of the line performer that he is, a true champion everywhere he goes and aCe will turn out to be no different. Totalis complained that the problem is that, with so many established stars and personal conflicts monopolizing all of the bias coverage on the aCe shows things are rigged against a newcomer unless he joins up with an established team. Totalis said none of the established teams are worth his time, so he's going to go about it another way.
Totalis said he has his eyes on another hungry, young newcomer and he knows a way to get both of them the attention they deserve: a best of seven series to showcase their talents and rocket the winner up the ladder of contention. NEMEAN broke up the scene at that point, coming out with mic in hand to question exactly who Totalis had in mind and exactly why anyone should care. Totalis told him that he is issuing this once-in-a-lifetime challenge opportunity to.....SCUD! Nemean broke out laughing and said it seemed to him that Totalis was afraid of real competition since going 0-2 so far and just wants to pad his record. SCUD went racing down the aisle and slid into the ring to dispute that, but unfortunately slid too fast and ended up sliding clear through the ring and out the other side.
After Scud recovered he hopped into the ring and said no one should take him lightly, especially the evil-doers he has sworn to battle. Scud accepted the challenge and said he would show everyone exactly what he can do and shut the mouths of the naysayers like Nemean in the process. Nemean sarcastically wished him luck and told Totalis the kid's got heart at least and he hopes his plan backfires in his face. Everyone dispersed and the show continued.
Peacemaker vs. Godsend Godsend defeated Peacemaker with a Hell's Threshold Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Godsend tried a kick to the midsection as Peacemaker got into the ring, but the massive combatant shrugged it off and tossed Godsend around like a rag doll. Godsend tried to escape the ring, but Peacemaker followed and tossed him right back in. More abuse and a near fall and Godsend tried to retreat again. This time he got the drop on Peacemaker and took over after running his head into the ringside barricade.
The action went back and forth as Peacemaker tried to get back into the match, until Godsend finally clamped on his finisher. That's when PENDRAGON rushed the ring to try to even the score from earlier in the evening. Godsend saw him coming and wisely ducked out of the ring. As the referee struggled to get Pendragon out of the ring Godensd pulled a foreign object from his trunks and blasted Peacemaker. He then locked in his submission finisher once again for appearances. Security came and got Pendragon as the ref turned around and saw Peacemaker unconscious in the grasp of his opponent and called for the bell.
- 6-man Scramble for the Essence - Avarice vs. Nightmare vs. Paganax vs. Shepard vs. The Amazing Mann vs. Ventross for the aCe Championship Shepard defeated Avarice with an EXORCISM Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: The excitement level could not have been any higher as the match began. Paganax and Avarice kicked it off and Avarice attempted to work over the arm of the Heathen Chief. Paganax overpowered the Black Rose easily enough and Avarice was forced to exit the ring and give someone else a try. The action got went on for some time, with several different wrestlers appearing to be on the verge of victory only to see the pin get broken up by one of the other four men waiting to get involved.
Finally Paganax and Avarice found there way back into the ring together and Avarice seemed to be in control. He tossed Paganax into the turnbuckle where Shepard wisely tagged himself into the bout. Avarice adjusted quickly and dumped Shepard out of the ring. Shepard got the drop on him when Avarice followed, but Amazing Mann tried to attack Shepard. Mann was cut off by Ventross, who in turn was attacked by Paganax. Nightmare jumped into the fray and the four men brawled as Shepard tossed Avarice back into the ring. Taking advantage of the melee on the floor, Shepard climbed the buckle straight away and used his finisher to get the pin and become the new champion.
Shepard won the aCe Championship

Wildfire,
Shepard surprised me, too. He was thrown in at the last moment and I expected him to have a nice showing to maybe set up something down the road with one of the guys in the scramble if anything developed. Instead he won. I've always liked Shepard so I think I can work with that.

aCe show #5 02.19.2123 from Paradise Palace
Darkseed vs. Witchdoctor Darkseed defeated Witchdoctor with a Belly Of The Beast Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Darkseed attacked at the bell, but Witchdoctor countered with Outbreak and Darkseed retreated from the ring. Witchdoctor followed but Darkseed floored him with a running clothesline and tossed him back in the ring where he used his finisher to get the easy win.
- Peacemaker declares war - Peacemaker came out to the ring after Darkseed was done and told Darkseed that he may still act like a demon, but his powers have been stripped and he'd better exit the ring in a hurry before he finds out just how weak he's become. Darkseed rushed in for a clothesline, but Peacemaker ducked and gave him a big boot to the head that sent Darkseed over the top rope and to the floor. Security rushed in before any more fighting could take place. Peacemaker told Darkseed to give that message to Godsend for him and went on to address other concerns.
The big man told everyone that he had no doubt he'd have won his match last week and would be one step closer to claiming the Essence if not for Pendragon getting over-zealous and coming out to interfere. Pendragon wasted no time going to the ring to defend his name. He told Peacemaker that he didn't have a problem with him "yet", and that he and Peacemaker had a common enemy in Godsend. Pendragon said he's a one man army and doesn't need a partner, but he doesn't want another enemy either, so the best thing for both men would be to stay out of each other's way until the day when they meet on opposite sides of the ring with the Essence on the line.
Of course, no segment like this is complete until there have been TWO interruptions, so AVARICE appeared on the entrance stage to say his piece. Avarice told Peacemaker not to judge Pendragon too harshly or take his meddling personally, because he is a master at making tactical mistakes; mistakes like the one he made when he crossed the Black Rose. Avarice then turned his attention to Pendragon and said it was wise not to seek another enemy and he should forget about Godsend because the one enemy he has (pointing to himself) is too much for him to handle as it is. Avarice concluded by saying the entire aCe audiance would see how right he is later tonight when they meet in the ring and Avarice shows everyone why HE should be the aCe Essence holder right now.
- Best of Seven Series - Scud vs. Totalis Totalis defeated Scud with a FINAL ROUND Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Scud tried to catch Totalis off-guard at the bell, but Totalis ducked out of the way and went on to punish the underdog for several minutes. Totalis hit the FINAL ROUND and went for the casual pin, but Scud showed heart and kicked out right before the 3. That set off Totalis and he proceeded to beat up Scud some more before a second FINAL ROUND finished the match.
Hustler and Scorch vs. Sycophant and Master Hustler defeated PainMaster with a disqualification Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: This was the fight that was to be expected, with Painmaster and Sycophant beating up Hustler for the bulk of the match until the action spilled to the floor. There Hustler took out Sycophant when he tried a sneak attack but got jumped by Painmaster. Scorch entered the fray and a brawl ensued. The villain team was finally disqualified when Painmaster used his whip to try to choke out Hustler.
At the bell the security force tasked with wrangling S And M stepped right in and subdued the team so they could be taken to the back and placed in custody once again. One of the guards pushed Hustler out of the way, which didn't sit well with the Blue Steel leader, but Scorch stepped in between them before problems could escalate.
- The Six - The members of the Six went to the ring to address the crowd. Shepard, aCe Essence title belt around his waist, was flanked by the Essence tag team titleholders Exodus and Gabriel. The other three followed close behind. Shepard spoke for the group and said they are men of action and not words, so he would be brief. Shepard said The Six have realized their goals and kept the Essence title belts out of the hands of those who would use them for personal gain and power and they intend to defend them with everything they've got to make sure it remains that way.
Shepard said he knows Paganax is first in line for a shot at the Essence and he is a man on a very personal mission, which makes him twice as dangerous as before. Ventross interjected and said he has a personal problem to settle with Paganax first, then "if there's anything left of him he can get his title match and Shepard can pick apart the bones." Shepard was a little taken aback by the metaphor, but Gabriel stepped up to difuse the situation. "Hey, we are the champions, my friends. The time for fighting will come soon enough. For now, we celebrate!"
The fans cheered as Gabriel ascended to the top turnbuckle and played to the crowd with a backflip back into the ring. That seemed to break the tension. Ventross shook hands with the champs and walked away as the other five remained at ringside celebrating with the fans. The Amazing Mann's music broke up the scene and Lance informed everyone that he had business to take care of. The champs and Aspin wished him luck and departed as Lance stepped back into the ring and prepared for battle.
Lance At-Las vs. The Amazing Mann Lance At-Las defeated The Amazing Mann with a MARS MANHANDLER Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Another great match between these two combatants yielded yet another frustrating result for Amazing Mann as he tries to establish his "Unbreakable Tour" (sponsored by Syndicate Tech). Mann worked the left arm of Lance mercilessly throughout the match, but Lance kept fighting back. Finally a good series of moves and counters led to Lance coming out on top and using his finishing maneuver to get the win.
Pendragon vs. Avarice Avarice defeated Pendragon with a 7th Sin Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: The action was furious in the main event of the evening and things could've gone either way until Avarice used his spiked armband to his advantage to bloody Pendragon's head and set up the 7th Sin for the victory.
Avarice went to continue his attack after the bell, but PEACEMAKER surprisingly ran down to the ring to chase him away. Once Avarice was out of the scene Peacemaker made his way back to the locker room with no explanation for his actions.

aCe show #6 03.07.2123 from
Esperanto vs. Mr. Bloat Mr. Bloat defeated Esperanto with a Cruel And Unusual Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Esperanto started quick in this brawl of a match, but Bloat pulled the triple blade action on his forehead. Espy fought back and the action went to the floor, where Esperanto held his own until Bloat blocked a whip into the railing and slammed Esperanto on the floor. He tossed him back inside and used Cruel And Unusual to end the match.
- Best Of Seven Series: match 2 - Scud vs. Totalis Totalis defeated Scud with a Final Round Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Totalis toyed with Scud once again until Scud finally found an opening and hit a quick flurry of offense. Totalis jumped right back into things with a jarring spear and then finally put him away with the FINAL ROUND.
- The Nemean Show - Nemean appeared with his usual style and flair. He called out Totalis as being a total bully and wondered how he'd do in the ring with a more spectacular opponent like......maybe Nemean. Before that could be pondered too deeply he announced his guests, Omni and Odyssey, also known as THE OTHERS.
The Others got right to the chase in their usual (somewhat disturbing) style of finishing each others sentences. They declared that their goal was to secure the Essence tag team belts and therefore attempt to unify their potential future timelines, ensuring they will both continue to exist but also forging a third timeline possibility. The tag team champs went to the Nemean Show set to counterpoint that idea.Exodus said the scenario The Others present is simply conjecture, and it is just as likely that if they secure the Essence the universe as we know it will cease to exist or will be thrust into the Armageddon events the Others hope to avoid.
Gabriel stepped in and said he didn't know what would happen, but he likes to live in the moment and at this moment it seems like a match between one of them and him would make him and the fans very happy. Gabriel upped the ante (without his partner's prior consultation) and said they'd be happy to put the belts on the line against The Others if one of them could pin him tonight. Omni quickly accepted the challenge and Gabriel shook his hand and wished him luck because, as Gabriel explained, "luck is the only chance you've got".
Primeval Destruction vs. The Brothers Oaken This match ended in a draw (uncontrollable team brawl.) Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Wild and action-packed tag team action between two of the powerhouse teams of aCe ended in out of control fashion. It looked like Warfare may get the pin on Rorus when Donk entered the ring to break it up. Hybrid rushed in to defend his partner and a team brawl predictably broke out. Also equally predictable, the referee could not control any of these four brawlers and was forced to call for the bell when order could not be restored.
Aspin Northstar vs. Nes Kincade Nes Kincade defeated Aspin Northstar with a MTFO Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: These guys tore down the house with an athletic display of high flying and hard striking action. The finish saw Aspin miss FLASH OF BRILLIANCE and Kincade immediately ascended the top rope for MTFO and the win.
Peacemaker vs. Godsend Godsend defeated Peacemaker with a HELL'S THRESHOLD Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Godsend shrugged off Peacemaker's only attempt at offense and put this one away quick. Disappointing.
Gabriel vs. Omni Gabriel defeated Omni with an ELYSIUM CHARGE Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: These men on a mission fought tooth and nail and thrilled the fans in the process. Both had the victory within their grasp at different times, but Omni made the mistake of trying a dive from the ring to the floor and missed. That gave Gabriel the opening for ELYSIUM CHARGE and the win.
Ventross vs. Paganax Paganax defeated Ventross with a Face Smothering Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Fierce action. Early in the match Ventross went for a big boot but Paganax ducked and countered with his Primal Scream big boot off the ropes. Ventross did not fall, but a chop block took him down to one knee. With Ventross on one knee Paganax bounced off the ropes and again hit Primal Scream to fell the adversary for a long two count. Ventross clawed his way back into the match and it went all over the ring and the floor until Paganax finally stunned him long enough to use the face smothering sleeper for the victory.

aCe show #7 04.11.2123 from Rose Garden, Tarkania
- Amazing Mann's challenge - Amazing Mann entered the arena in grand fashion and soaked in the crowd reaction for a moment before getting serious. Mann said Lance At-Las has been lucky twice, but no man can deny the fans the greatest show in the galaxy and The Amazing Mann intends to give the people their money's worth. He said all it takes is a fluke to keep a man's shoulders on the mat for a three count, but it takes real skill to force him to submit. He challenged At-Las to a submission match to settle the score once and for all.
After that the Syndicate Tech announcer was heard booming over the music. He declared that Syndicate Tech, out of their undying dedication to the customer, is sponsoring a Holovision championship to be fought over by the greatest showmen in the galaxy ("men like the one and only Amazing Mann") and defended on each and every aCe HV show. The "new and improved" Flatliner and Holocaust, complete with shiny new paintjobs and light effects, appeared on the entrance stage and set off a fireworks and light show before hoisting the gaudy, gem encrusted belt for all to see.
- Best Of Seven Series - Scud vs. Totalis Scud defeated Totalis with a CRASH AND BURN Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Totalis entered the ring completely full of himself and showboating after dominating the smaller and less experienced Scud in the first two bouts. Scud shut him up right away with the "Scud Missle" to send him to the floor. Totalis got serious and took over from there, punishing Scud and finally going to the top rope to put him away. Scud rolled through a cross bodyblock attempt and got a one-count. Totalis again tried to retreat but Scud used CRASH AND BURN and pulled off the shocking upset.
Primeval Destruction vs. The Brothers Oaken Donk Oaken defeated Hybrid with a disqualification Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: It broke down between these two teams yet again. This time it was Hybrid going overboard on the floor after tossing Donk out of the ring. Warfare didn't even get a chance to officially get tagged into the match, but did see action in the brawl on the floor. The two teams were finally pulled apart and in two meetings there still has not been a clear cut winner.
- No disqualification - Hustler and Scorch vs. Sycophant and Master PainMaster defeated Hustler with a Sadist's Hangman Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: The action got going before the bell and didn't let up until the end. In the end Scorch made the defensive tag out to Hustler who came in and hit the curb jaw on Sycophant for a near fall. Things got turned around after that and Painmaster ended up in the ring where he used the Sadist's Hangman to set up the win.
Peacemaker vs. Darkseed Peacemaker defeated Darkseed with a Blindside Bodybuster Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Peacemaker was determined not to lose again. The powerhouses traded hard shots throughout the match until Darkseed managed to stun Peacemaker long enough to set up Belly Of The Beast. Peacemaker kicked out and Darkseed, undeterred, used the move again right away. Again, Peacemaker kicked out somehow and Darkseed went ballistic. That led to a mistake and Peacemaker using the Blindside Bodybuster to get the pin.
Godsend appeared after the match as Darkseed was recovering and Peacemaker had made his way to the back. He sarcastically congratulated Darkseed "for the effort" and pointed out that he just got beat by a man Godsend had put down twice in a row. Darkseed shoved Godsend to the floor and walked away. Godsend sat up and laughed.
- challenge to the champs - Odyssey was introduced for the upcoming bout and awaited his opponent, Exodus. When he appeared, along with tag team partner Gabriel, Odyssey asked if the same deal was in play as for the match between Gabriel and Omni on the last show (a win earns a tag team title match). Exodus managed to get out the words, "I don't think the top contendership should be decided like...." before Gabriel cut him off and said they'd make it two for two so it doesn't matter what the stipulations are. Gabriel said if Odyssey wins not only can they have a title shot, but he can name the type of match. Exodus turned to his partner and told him he really needed to stop interrupting like that. Gabriel just shrugged and the ref ordered the start of the match.
Exodus vs. Odyssey Odyssey defeated Exodus with a CHRONOCHASM Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: This match was of the same high quality as the one between the other halves of the teams was on the previous show. However, the result was different as Odyssey ended up coming out on top after both men threw everything they had at the other to try to score the win. The difference maker was Odyssey's willingness to take the fight to the floor, where he had the advantage and used it.
Nemean vs. Nes Kincade Nes Kincade defeated Nemean with a New Schoolboy Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Kincade just swarmed Nemean and wouldn't let up until the match was won. Nes seemed to be determined to make a strong case for himself being amongst the contenders for the Holovision belt, and did exactly that at the expense of the charismatic Nemean.
- A difference of opinion. - Avarice went to the ring before the main event and made his intention known to challenge the winner of tonight's main event. He declared himself the true winner of the six man scramble and said taking the belt was only a formality.
The speech was cut short by the appearance of PAGANAX on the entrance stage. Paganax simply said the road to the aCe championship goes through him, the Centra Cup champion, and it's a road Avarice will not pass.
- Essence Title Match - Shepard vs. Mr. Bloat for the aCe Championship Shepard defeated Mr. Bloat with an EXORCISM Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: The bout was not as lengthy as their previous one, but it was action packed for the duration. Bloat attacked in the aisle before the match and tossed Shepard into the ring. Shepard came right back and got a quick two count after the Silver Bullet. Bloat used his size to push around the champ for a little while, but Shepard took over again and ended up gaining the win with his finisher to defend the belt in impressive fashion.

aCe show #8 04.23.2123 from Southern Sun Memorial Hall - Centrapolis, Centra Prime
- Best Of 7 Series - Scud vs. Totalis Totalis defeated Scud with a FINAL ROUND Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Totalis was not in a good mood after his stunning loss to Scud on the last show and looked to get revenge. Scud started quick but Totalis was prepared and floored him with a running spear. He then simply beat him up until he used his finisher for the pin.
Nemean watched from the end of the aisle and was not too impressed. He caught Totalis' attention after the bell to give him a gesture that let him know the effort was not appreciated.
- Holovision title details and Nes Kincade makes a big challenge. - The slick and polished presentation of the Syndicate Tech announcer was heard in the arena as he again hyped the coming of the Holovision title. This time more details were revealed and it was announced that the winner would be decided via an invitational tournament to be held at Mecatoid Megadome two shows from now. The criteria for inclusion is simple: only the most entertaining, electrifying, and fan thrilling combatants will be allowed.
With that said NES KINCADE walked to the ring and said that of course meant he was a lock to compete. He then turned his attention to Paganax, saying the chief had the audacity to call out New School member Avarice at the last show and that was a mistake. He said that when you call out one of the New School you're calling out all of the New School and he demanded Paganax come to the ring because "school's in session and he's about to get a hard lesson in respect."
Nes Kincade vs. Paganax Nes Kincade defeated Paganax with a disqualification Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: This was pretty much a non-starter. Nes jumped Paganax as he came through the ropes and his a standing dropkick. He then stunned the Heathen Chief with a tornado DDT and cover, but Paganax kicked out hard at "1". Nes dropkicked Paganax out of the ring and followed, but Paganax had already recovered and grabbed Nes. He tossed Kincade into the steel post hard and then picked him up for a decimating choke slam on the floor. The ref pleaded and warned him not to do it, but Paganax listens to no man and did it anyway to prompt the disqualification.
After the bell Avarice and The Brothers Oaken attacked Paganax. He fought hard but the numbers caught up to him. Suddenly, PRIMEVAL DESTRUCTION raced out and attacked the Brothers. Paganax recovered and chased Avarice away. A second referee went to the ring and called for the bell to begin the match.
The Brothers Oaken vs. Primeval Destruction Warfare defeated Donk Oaken with a Juggernaught Driver Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: They did not disappoint, once again brawling hard from start to finish. In the end Warfare and Hybrid went on a roll against Donk and Warfare went for the pin on a Juggernaut Driver. Rorus tried to break it up but was intercepted by Hybrid and tossed over the top rope and that was that.
- Lance At-Las speaks. - Lance At-Las strode confidently to the ring and addressed the crowd. He said Amazing Mann came into aCe as the hot free agent and thought he'd steamroll over everyone on his "Unbreakable Tour". What he didn't count on, At-Las continued, was facing a veteran who has seen wrestlers with big ability and bigger mouths come and go. At-Las ran down a few of the many challenges he's faced inside and out of the ring and said Mann's challenge to face him in a submission match was just another in a long line. Lance concluded by saying he's never run from a challenge in his life and he's not about to now. On card 10 it'll be Lance At-Las versus Amazing Mann in a submission match.
Peacemaker vs. Nightmare Peacemaker defeated Nightmare with a PEACEMAKERS OATH Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Peacemaker was on a tear in this one, just punishing Nightmare most of the bout. Nightmare finally rolled out of the ring and caught Peacemaker coming after him. He then mounted the buckles and hit a nice move off the top before stringing together some offense and going for the pin. Peacemaker powered out and then powered back into the match, finally finishing it off with his finisher for an impressive win.
Scorch vs. PainMaster Scorch defeated PainMaster with a Death Valley Driver Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: The intensity that would be expected between these two was on display in full force. Painmaster looked to win it early, but Scorch withstood and delivered a decisive beating to Painmaster before putting him away with a Death Valley Driver to gain some measure of revenge for his partner for events on the last show.
- The hard sell - The official Syndicate Tech spokesman was heard throughout the arena yet again. This time he gave a history of events as they have unfolded in the tag team division, from the tournament right up to the recent challenges that resulted in The Others receiving an upcoming tag team title match. The announcer said that The Shock Syndicate were the "thinking fans tag team favorites; sleek, efficient, and exciting". He said the "new and improved 2124 model Shock Syndicate" were about to go to the ring and wow the fans with their innovative offense en route to defeating the Others and cementing their position at the top of the heap in tag team wrestling....."all done for the fans, because customer service and satisfaction is always top priority at Syndicate Tech".
The Others vs. Shock Syndicate Holocaust defeated Omni with a Shockwave Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: This was a fantastic tag team battle. Odyssey got caught in the ring at one point and was on the receiving end of a vicious beating until he finally made the tag out to Omni. Omni nearly had it won on Holocaust but made a crucial mistake when he missed a dive from the top rope to the floor. Holocaust tossed him back in the ring and used his finisher to take the win.
