Broken? In what sense are we using said term here? Broken, in video game terms, means something that breaks the game. Something in the game that makes certain tactics/attacks unbeatable if they're abused, and there's nothing that can be done about them. Now, it largely doesn't matter if you're just going to casually play a game, or just play against the AI. I'm talking strictly from a tournament player's perspective that this stuff might break the game. Like Orton's RKO. The way it's described, with a full special meter, there's nothing your opponent can do to counter it. It's the fastest special in the game, has no startup animation, and hits from virtually anywhere. It might end up a useful tool, or something people will sit on until they can bust out a huge combo and end it with the RKO, and win the match. Or guys like Big Show and Andre. They're Big Men, meaning it's harder to knock them down, they have bigger health bars (not literally, they take more damage), and if you charge a strike, they'll bounce an opponent off the ropes or knock them out of the ring. This is cool, but Big Show has unblockable charged strikes, meaning in theory he can bounce someone off the ropes, hit them a few times in the air, charge ANOTHER strike, and keep the combo going as long as he wants or until the match ends. Hogan also falls into the category with Big Show that he's a Brawler/Big Man hybrid. I have no idea why you'd give Hogan the trait that he's harder to knock down and takes more damage and THEN give him unblockable charged strikes. Way too good on paper. Again though, this is all theory. We'll know better come March 29th.

Oh Gotcha. I was not thinking of broken in that sense. We usually refer to it as "The FUCKING computer is cheating!"

Oh there'll probably be a bunch of that, especially on anything above the default difficulty. I love how in most games, the best players can't even do some of the shit the computer does.

Seems the codes the figures come with unlock the alternate attires of the guys in the two-pack. So those codes will work on every system the game is released on since they're not for Downloadable Content.

Full match video. Guy doesn't really have any idea how to do combos and stuff, and there's some missed opportunities, but it gives you a general idea about the gameplay.

Surprised they would use the term "Ruthless Aggression"..... one of the main catchphrases/themes of Chris Benoit. Everywhere else they are going miles out of their way to pretend he was never in the WWE.

Everywhere else they are going miles out of their way to pretend he was never in the WWE. It was Toothless Aggression, actually. I remember he had it on his tights at one point. Jakks did a Ruthless Aggression action figure line that spanned before and after the Benoit incident. I remember Vince McMahon using "Ruthless Aggression" more than I remember Benoit using it.

I know that they used both in reference to Benoit. Just when I hear that phrase I always think of Benoit and his finisher the Crippler Crossface.

Honestly I find it a smidge tasteless they used Ruthless Aggression for anything involving Jimmy Snuka.

Another full match, this time between Andre the Giant and Kane.
Seems like Big Men will be good in this game. I don't like that they can essentially store a strong strike and sit on it for as long as they want before throwing it but I guess that helps counterbalance that every other character in the game can just run around them easily.
