Hey I was wondering if anyone knew who does the Pdf's for the LFSCE cards. I did a duo in the upcoming women's set and found out that the characters have been switched.
Kinda sucks as the art and names don't match. I don't want to be a complete bitch about it but I think people will understand why I want it changed once they are shown. And I would think this would be an easy fix.......

I'd just point it out to Paint.. sounds like they could fix it easy enough.

This is I did and this was the response I was given. Either way I guess if people notice that its not right its not my fault! I know the difference lol. I guess I needed to be specific on which art was which....I just figured it would be self explanatory though.... :/

Wow, really? Way to take pride in a project, Paint.

Holy hell that's pathetic. I'd post over there so people know which way the art is to go. If you say he won't change it then it might get deleted.

Do you have the art for the front and the back? I can lay it out. If you have both of those things, laying it out is easy.

I have everything, and it probably isn't a big deal but the jakylls and krypts seem to have specific looks..... I might do it myself after they are released I have Micro Publisher.... I could also do an updated version that is more tag friendly too.
toasterboy what program do you use?

he said it was a coding issue with the links. The guy has already been paid and did the coding and so if it were to be changed it wouldn't be done till 2 months from now when the next issue would be to come out. Guess I'll just have to either try publisher or find a program to do it myself so I can print them off.

They pay someone for that? I find that hard to believe. The don't pay anyone for anything. If you'd like to post the correct ones here, feel free. (Not sure what you have to agree to for LSFCEWESXZY, but I don't mind

I'm sure that would piss him off if they were posted here, since you pay for the promoter where those files are found.

I'm sure that would piss him off if they were posted here, since you pay for the promoter where those files are found. This brings up more of that blurred line between what is and isn't Filsinger Games "property" as it concerns the Promoter newsletter. That lost classic project is LWPD's: as far as I can tell he pays to have the drawings done, so the drawings would technically belong to him. However, the characters are created by game fans and given away for use on the paid subscription newsletter. Surely they would be upset if something you made to give to them so they could sell was posted somewhere else for free. Also as far as I know, no one ever "signs over" anything in an official way, and exclusivity to the Promoter newsletter is implied and never implicitly stated. Bottom line, the person who posted it and the forum that hosted it would certainly be caught up in a ----storm over it. I would not be surprised if someone turned in the forum to proboards for terms of use violation for posting "copyrighted material".

Felt like saying something but it's not worth it.

I went back and reread the initial post here and I'm confused. Are you saying on the PDFs they have the art switched? So, for example, Star Warrior's art says Thantos? Or is there something more here? Because I don't see how that'd be a "coding issue." That's a layout issue and should be easy enough to fix.
A coding issue is something like, a link says DOWNLOAD STAR WARRIOR'S CARD HERE and then you click on it and Thantos' card downloads.
Either way, both seem like easy fixes. But I know nothing.
I do layouts in Fireworks of Pixelmator (on a Mac here). I also have an old version of Photoshop but it doesn't work on my new machine.
I will say this, I once booked a big comedy music show and had 40, really nice quality, posters printed. Cost me close to $150. They were odd sized, but on sweet heavy paper and had a retro, folk club, feel. Got them back and they were just fantastic. Beautiful quality. Just perfect. Till I noticed on of the act's names was missing one letter. The band The Falling Standards were now The Falling Standars. I was crushed, but you know what I did? I ponied up another $150 and got them re-printed because that's what you do when you want to deliver a quality product.

If they are two seprate cards, then you can do this. Put 1 piece of cardstock in the printer and print the front to the first card. Then print the back to the first card on a seperate cardstock sheet. Then reverse the cardstock order to do the front and back respectvely.
Either way, kinda sucks that they are not taking this seriously, we freaking pay money for the Promoter.

Which is exactly why I don't get the promoter anymore. I love some of the ideas of the cards, but IMO it's stuff that should be posted on the forum (as lots of stuff is) not a paid product. No one making them is getting money, why are we giving FG cash for stuff it doesn't really have anything to do with?
The whole thing leave a bad taste in my mouth.. not just this, but in general.
