We've gonna off track, but a few comments:
I really like Hector's story, and his psyche. The problem is he's a teddy bear. That doesn't make any sense. He should be a dinglehoffer. Or a sneezid. Or something. He can look SORTA like a bear, that's fine. But be something creative. Making him a teddy bear was a lazy, illogical conclusion to what was otherwise a very interesting character sketch.
That, if fact, is the problem with all the current GWF... it all seems sorta thrown together, rather than the careful plotting of the past.

Current GWF characters I think need to take a hike: Shann-Ra - what's the point since Kill Prey left? She's only there because there literally hasn't been a new woman in the division in 2 or 3 sets. Retribution - I want the Vertigo treatment, big time! American Guy - He's just there, he needs updated or he needs to go. Nitro - lame. Anivar - I've never liked him. He bores me to tears and while the new card is better than his first two but he's still boring. Oracle - lame. The whole prophecy thing got old after 3 matches. The Ultimate Fighters - don't care much for the cards and feel they are severely lacking in even basic personalities. In the last fewe pages of Tom's fed results he's been dropping hints and things about the next set. Phantasy possibly calling it quits, an alliance between Bishop Hell and Thantos, and the return of Monlith. I dont mind Anivar as much as the sleeper cell. That got old after a few cards and needs to go away. If not no big deal I'll just keep on ignoring it.

Scimitar is what he is... a jobber. He's actually doing well for me in the infinity challenge I'd say in the top five. Coven Black is one guy that has done nothing for me including winning a match. As far as guys leaving next year I guess anyone in the infinity challenge is fair game

The problem with CPC/POW is I think it's on it's last legs. I think Mark wants to keep it going but I think the weight of it all is going to wear him down and it'll be done after a few more sets. It's sad that in the span of a few years we went from 4 viable COTG feds to just the GWF. At one time it was great to have GWF, CPC, aCe and Legends all going at one time, but like Maddog says the weight of it all has a burn out factor. Tom came close to ending it all and now we are close to just two official wrestling entities. What would be interesting is just like with comic books, you have different writers and artists but this would cost Tom money to hire a writer and I doubt he would want someone else running his game thats not part of his inner circle. I think it would be cool to see some fresh blood writing for the game...

It's not just that, but that people look at the net and get the idea that POW and aCe are popular, but their sales aren't that great. It seems silly for Tom to keep trying to sell stuff if people aren't buying enough to cover the expenses. And as has been said, it's hard to run multiple federations at once...my aCe and CPC (I've only done a couple POW cards and they've been pretty much only wrestling) have been dormant for a long while, and my GWF pretty quiet too as Legends and GWFZ take all of my free time.

As far as guys leaving next year I guess anyone in the infinity challenge is fair game Black is 1-7 for me. His matches all go the same way. He wears someone down with that add 1 on level 2 and then totally stalls out on his level 3 offense. He really might have the worst level 3 offense ever aside from jobbers.

tax bottom-lined it nicely; no matter how much some of us like aCe and POW and even the GWFZ, if it doesn't sell to anyone but the hardcore fans then it's not cost- effective to keep producing.
GWFZ Territories appears to have been built to be open-ended and give you the ability to get some play out of all of those old cards and abandoned feds in one system. Under the territory banner you could plug in any and all cards (As I noted before, Cloneworld alone could give you a way to fit clones of any character ever). I'm pretty sure there will be a MMA-style territory too where all of the POW guys could easily keep going, making it a true home for everything under the FG label.
Like I wrote before, I like the idea and it's nice for people to get their characters kind of worked into the semi-official canon, as it were. I tend to think it's worth the price just to see the great artwork Werner's provided. He's really stepped it up a notch lately and the stuff I've seen looks great.

I submitted my character for this last week. I was just going to buy the set without doing a character but changed my mind. It's a bootleg that I did a few years back and should fit in somehow with Darth Brooks

GWFZT is now up to 131 cards for $35 shipping added, that is wild...
This will be the biggest release ever and it'll be cool to see these cards and many will be either in my TNE WRESTLING! or íρώ:ύςά which are in a all era's universe...

I haven't played GWF in a long time......but I think I am going to have to cave on this set. 131 cards for 30 bucks is insane. Especially with getting a manual with each character having a bio!! Even if I only take the manual to work and read it, I figure it will be well worth the investment. But I am sure once I read the bios it will prompt me to start rolling the dice, they normally do.....

I'm excited to get the set. 131 cards is insane. I guess the GWFZ really can go on forever with this set up.
I know Todd and I made cards for the set. Did anyone else here make a card?

I know Todd and I made cards for the set. Did anyone else here make a card? I did 4 characters. An update to Duplos and then a team who's coming in after them.
