Those are pretty good. I like the Legends Rick Rude figure from a few series back because they finally made a figure of him with a different look besides the curly "poodle hair" that all the other Rude figures have had. That Macho Man figure is one of the best I've seen from them yet.
Wade Barrett with the Nexus armband: I think every line of figures since the beginning has had at least one guy with an outdated outfit by the time it came out. I go back to the days of the original WWF Wrestling Superstars figures from LJN. One of the most annoying ones when I was a kid was when Hercules came out with the long hair and Roman gladiator looking stuff long after he'd cut his hair and quit wearing that gear to the ring.

I like the Legends 5 Savage, but the Defining Moments figure is better IMO. Might just be because I like the WrestleMania VII attire more.

An extra note on Ryder/Barrett: Mattel plans the lines about several months before they get released. This is why the Cena in Series 1 had the Blue armbands instead of green or even orange, and why the Elite Cena figure from Series 3 had the late 08/early 09 gear instead of something more current.

Believe me, as a Transfan I know how long the cycle is for producing action figures. Hence the classic "not show accurate/not toy accurate" argument from the Beast Wars days! Ryder has been wearing the short trunks for a while now, so it's an accurate look, but I thought the half-trunks were awesome. That's just a personal thing for me. I stil dig the figure. As far as Barrett, like I said, he had a classic run as the head of Nexus, and that look will always be associated with him. I just wish the armband was a cloth accessory instead of molded on. |

I actually think it's painted on like with the Heath Slater figure they released. They only do cloth accessories with the Elite line, though. |

I have most of the Elite up to Series 5, I think. I don't have many of the Elite figures. I think out of all of the sets released (Up to Series 7), I've got: Series 1: Undertaker, CM Punk, Rey Mysterio Series 2: Triple H, Randy Orton Series 3: None Series 4: Kofi Kingston, Chris Jericho Series 5: Jack Swagger Series 6: None Series 7: John Cena, Tyson Kidd From Elite Series 8, I plan to get McIntyre and Evan Bourne. Whereas my Legends Collection looks like this: Series 1: Ricky Steamboat, Hawk, Animal, Dusty Rhodes Series 2: None Series 3: None Series 4: Ultimate Warrior |

Went to Walmart tonight and to my surprise, they had Elite 7 in, but only Trips, Tyson Kidd, and Cena. i picked up Tyson and Cena.

Elite Series 8 Regal is FUCKIN' AWESOME! Yeah, that whole set looks amazing minus Edge. The headscan looks like blonde Heath Slater. The Bourne, Sheamus, and McIntyre figures are all incredible too. |
