GWF 43 12.05.2087 from Outer Rim Outpost, Eldsib.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Pit Viper, injured four cards.
- Doc Strongbow's News Roundup. - Good evening fans, we are one week from Wrestlestorm and the dust is beginning to settle. The title holders remain unchanged in what is proving to be a dominant period for both the Galaxian and Tag Team Titles. We've seen the debut of The Norse Gods and the notorious Bishop Hell, they will all be in action again tonight. Speaking of newcomers, I mentioned last week that we've signed the Animal Magic tag team, well they'll be competing in their debut next week. This is such an exciting time to be a GWF fan, we are so glad you're here to join us on this ride. Finally, we've been promised an interview with Thantos tonight, I have no further details as yet and you'll know more as soon as I do. For now, lets hit the ring.
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Mutant Pulsar defeated Mutant with a WHIRLWIND at 9:17 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Mutant came ready to fight, he put in a great effort and it was only that Pulsar refused to be beaten that denied him a win. The young Titan hit his WHIRLWIND three times in the course of the bout, including the final moments of the encounter. The bout remained competitive and hard fought throughout, Mutant seemed to feed on the pain that came with the several Boston Crab's he found himself in. Soon enough it became obvious that Pulsar wasn't going to win by submission, and while avoiding Mutants limited yet effective attacks he was able to put together a string of moves that led him to victory.
- Singles Bout - Renegade vs. Ghengis Khan Renegade defeated Ghengis Khan with a Deathjump at 6:44 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Ghengis Khan had the better of the bout as it wore on, he started to put a serious beat down on Renegade, his speed and martial arts skills gave him an edge that should have led him to victory. However, with Renegade down and hurt, he went for a dynamic deathjump that simply didn't hit home. Renegade managed to roll aside and drape an arm over Khan's prone form. The three count followed before the villain could gather his senses. Truly then Renegade stole the win, a fact which perhaps explained his over the top celebrations.
- Tag Team Bout - Bomb Squad vs. Norse Gods Adam Blast defeated Man-Mountain with a MEGABLAST at 1:52 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: So the Norse Gods may have started well at Wrestlestorm but they were simply terrible today. Man Mountain showed that if he's taken off his feet then he really is vulnerable. Adam's MEGABLAST was sufficient to put the big man on his back, he lacked the agility, speed or desire to rouse himself. An easy win for the American pairing, they received a rapturous reception from the crowd once they'd taken the three count. Despite the brief nature of the match-up they remain among the more popular contenders in the GWF.
- Singles Bout - Omega vs. Killer Queen Killer Queen defeated Omega with a CHECKMATE at 0:22 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: Oh dear! The legendary Omega suffered a humiliating defeat here, he missed with a turnbuckle charge and as he fell backwards found himself swiftly turned into the CHECKMATE. Killer Queen had his opponent right where he wanted him, facing the centre of the ring and nowhere to go. With no option other than to submit, Omega tapped. The crowd voiced their annoyance at such a brief bout and an unpopular win. That hardly seemed to concern Killer Queen who paraded about the ring as he celebrated.
- Singles Bout - Pit Viper vs. Bishop Hell Bishop Hell defeated Pit Viper with a Backbreaker at 5:00 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Once more Bishop Hell took the win without resorting to his HELLFIRE. There remains an aura of fear and anticipation about seeing what is clearly a very dangerous finisher. The Bishop however refuses to admit to having such a weapon in his arsenal, claiming instead that he can dominate his bouts with his pure wrestling ability alone. Pit Viper did all he could to combat the Bishop, but toward the end he found himself tortured by several backbreakers in a row. These left him without the strength to kick out of the pin. Bishop Hell lived up to his reputation as one of the more despicable villains in the GWF when while leaving the arena he threatened a number of fans and showed no remorse whatsoever for his behaviour.
- Tag Team Bout - Greek Gods vs. The Henchmen Proteus defeated Comrade Terror with an OVERHEAD TOSS at 3:40 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: The Greek Gods really needed a win here, after a period of poor form it was vital that they stepped up their game. Luckily for them that Proteus came to the ring with a fire in his belly, he more than any other of the four men had a sheer competitive edge and a will to win. While all the competitors had their chance to shine in the ring, it was Proteus that made the difference. Though both of The Henchmen survived his OVERHEAD TOSS it was Comrade Terror who found himself victim of it yet again as the victory went to the Gods. With that win recorded, the two popular heroes embraced and saluted the fans before making it clear that they believed they owed it to everyone that supported them to have another serious crack at the Gladiators Tag Titles.
- Singles Bout - Wolf vs. Exo-King Exo-King defeated Wolf with a DEATH VISE at 10:43 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: This was a great, high octane bout from the first. Wolf attacked right from the opening bell and threw everything at the bigger man. No matter what he did, how furiously he fought, he just couldn't take Exo-King off his feet. With frustration and exhaustion starting to tell on Wolf, he began to find himself on the receiving end of a beating. When the DEATH VISE locked in there was no way out, trapped in the middle of the ring Wolf started to fade in that painful, unrelenting grip. The submission finally came and the King dropped his opponent like a bundle of rags before he stepped from the ring with the job done. He wasted no time on celebrations and was all business.
- Singles Bout - Star Warrior vs. Spike Star Warrior defeated Spike with a NOVA LAUNCH at 0:47 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Was this a hangover from his failed title shot? Whatever the reason, Spike was easily beaten here. The two men circled for a few moments, before Spike went for an ambitious dropkick, Star Warrior had it well scouted and retaliated with a Running Star Blast. Then it was time for the NOVA LAUNCH. That was that, simple as. Not a good night for Spike and something of a let down in terms of a main event. With the win recorded and the show going off air, both Brute and Massacre joined a despondent Spike in the ring. They took it in turns to chop each others chests and sought to awaken the warrior spirit within. Will it work, where does Spike go from here?

GWF 44 12.12.2087 from Procyon Sports Pavilion, Canis Minor.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Pit Viper, injured three cards.
- Doc Strongbow's News Roundup. - Welcome to the GWF! Its a big night here as we see the debut of the former AWA tag champions "Animal Magic". The popular team of Bomb Squad will be welcoming our newest competitors in a match up tonight. Bishop Hell goes up against Lord Nexus, will he make it a full set of victories against the Titans or can Nexus end this run here this evening. We have a rematch tonight, Renegade and Ghengis Khan renew hostilities after last weeks encounter. In addition, Massif takes on Spike, looking for a measure of vengeance following their bout earlier in the year. Last but not least, we have a battle of the Gods tonight. Man Mountain and Lightening get their hands on Actagon and Proteus, expect fireworks!
- Singles Bout - Omega vs. Mutant Omega defeated Mutant with a Disqualification at 7:40 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Omega started well, showing that experience and solid wrestling skills gave him an edge over his rather limited opponent. However, Mutant was in the mood to fight, he kicked out of a couple of pinning situations and came close to forcing a submission with his TEMPLE GRINDER. When the bout spilled out of the ring, so Mutant's understanding of the rules seemed to lapse. He used the ring steps, lifting them over his head and hurling them at Omega, who thankfully was able to dodge aside. The swing of a steel chair though did catch the legend and sent him sprawling, the referee had seen enough however and called for the bell.
- Singles Bout - Pit Viper vs. Executioner Executioner defeated Pit Viper with a face claw at 6:34 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: Pit Viper started the bout with the first offensive move, it was also his last as Executioner simply and utterly dominated. This wasn't a match, it was a dismantling. The poor Titan was made to look completely out of his depth by the wily villain. When the end came it was no surprise, more a mercy killing.
- Tag Team Bout - Bomb Squad vs. Animal Magic Incredible Badger defeated Commander Sam with a Death Dive at 5:10 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: The Animen made a solid start to their careers in the GWF, ok so Incredible Badger did most of the work as Reptillo struggled with the intensity of competition here. They were also accorded a fine welcome by the fans who seemed to take to them immediately. Badger showed his quality and put in a match winning performance, he immediately showed that he would raise his game to the levels expected in the GWF. With the former AWA Champion still to join the federation, there seemed to be a real belief that the Animen represented a new stage in the GWF's growth.
- Singles Bout - Renegade vs. Ghengis Khan Renegade defeated Ghengis Khan with a Double knee lift at 3:03 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: This time around Renegade deserved his win, he may have stolen one last time around but tonight was an entirely different story. Ghengis Khan just didn't show the same drive as he had the week before and allowed himself to be dominated. With two wins on the trot in his favour it seems that Renegade has made his point, he'll now be seeking to push on with his good form and test his skills against the elite in the federation.
- Singles Bout - Invincible Krakan vs. Beast-Rider Invincible Krakan defeated Beast-Rider with a FALLING FACE SLAM at 11:02 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Krakan made hard work of an encounter he was expected to win easily. The match-up may have lasted a time, but there was very little quality on show. While Beast-Rider tried everything to gain an edge he lacked the ability to do so. Meanwhile, Krakan just seemed wholly under motivated and seemed that he couldn't be bothered. Finally with the win recorded Krakan stormed from the ring with a face like thunder. Something clearly had got under his skin, it remains to be seen whats going on with the man.
- Tag Team Bout - Greek Gods vs. Norse Gods Proteus defeated Man-Mountain with an OVERHEAD TOSS at 1:46 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Things just aren't going well for the Norse Gods! They got a shot here at the Greek Gods, the team they'd made a big noise about coming after. However, the rookie team were soundly humiliated in short order. There was nothing positive to report on their performance, Proteus and Actagon barely had to break sweat so completely dominant they were. Wrestling fans of some note will know both Lightening and Man-Mountain from their previous gimmicks in a recently defunct fed. They need to very quickly prove that they are worthy of a slot in the GWF.
- Singles Bout - Spike vs. Massif Massif defeated Spike with a VOLCANIC DROP at 4:51 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Revenge was sweet for Massif, rarely have we seen him so motivated and driven to win a bout. Tonight he really went for it and to Spike's credit he met the giant head on. The greater strength of Massif was the real difference maker here, on this occasion he made it really count and wore down the Gladiators resistance to the point that he was truly set up for a huge VOLCANIC DROP. The ring shaking move brought the three count and a heartfelt celebration from the giant. With rumour circulating that the final PPV of the year would feature a fatal four-way for the title, every win is becoming priceless for those hoping to be in contention.
- Singles Bout - Lord Nexus vs. Bishop Hell Bishop Hell defeated Lord Nexus with a HELLFIRE at 6:26 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: There it is, the HELLFIRE! Though the referee missed it as clearly it made the difference and gave Bishop Hell the win. The two men had fought evenly and in fairness things were starting to turn in the favour of Lord Nexus, his superior agility giving him an edge as the battle drew on. Perhaps it was this that encouraged the evil one to launch his feared finisher. Whatever the reason, the effect was devastating, in an instant Nexus was down and in agony, not a prayer of kicking out. The era of the HELLFIRE has arrived, its aura of fear in full effect.

GWF 45 12.19.2087 from Pirx a-Plex, Ancires.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Pit Viper, injured two cards.
- Doc Strongbow's News Roundup. - Hello and welcome back to the GWF. We are just weeks away from the end of the year, 2088 is just around the corner and what a year it promises to be! The final PPV of the year Apocalypse 2087 is only a couple of weeks away, we already know that the Galaxian Title will be decided in a fatal four way encounter. There's a lot up for grabs between then and now, both a place in that four way bout and of course the right to battle the mighty Gladiators for the tag titles. Expect fireworks folks, lets get this thing started.
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Killer Queen Pulsar defeated Killer Queen with a WHIRLWIND at 13:25 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: It took a total of three WHIRLWIND finishers to bring Pulsar a great victory. He hit the first in the early going, but Killer Queen kicked out with authority. When the second of them landed in the midst of the bout, it very nearly resulted in the pin. But it took several minutes more until the decisive third WHIRLWIND decided the matter. Queen always looked a little over confident here, he was carried to the ring in a luxurious sedan chair by four burly women. An exotic entrance by the flambouyant one, it seems he put more effort into his entrance than preparing for the match. He paid the price.
- Tag Team Bout - Bomb Squad vs. The Henchmen Comrade Terror defeated Adam Blast with a Cross-body block at 12:14 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: This close encounter saw all four men spending good time in the ring, it was Commander Sam who first gained an advantage. He put the beat on Executioner which culminated in both men going down after a thunderous double clothesline. Terror and Sam renewed their long standing feud and exchanged a series of brutal attacks as the bout progressed. Late in the encounter Terror hit his ATOMIC WARHEAD on Adam Blast, that should have been the end of it but Sam made the save. Just a minute or two later Adam fell victim to a great Cross-body block, this time Sam was prevented from interfering and the result entered the record books.
- Singles Bout - Invincible Krakan vs. Omega Invincible Krakan defeated Omega with a Krakan Skullcrusher at 15:51 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Omega survived three pin attempts, including a FALLING FACE SLAM. The legend managed to keep the bout competitive throughout, though he spent the majority of it on the defensive. It would be fair to say that Omega never really looked like winning, but still he put on a great display and rolled back the years to some degree. Krakan looked on the verge of disqualification a couple of times as he lost patience with his inability to put Omega away. The fans always seem to delight in seeing the veteran compete, particularly when he brings his top form.
- Singles Bout - Wolf vs. Vanity Wolf defeated Vanity with a SAVAGE FACE CLAW at 8:08 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: As expected Wolf dominated most of the bout, he spent most of the bout beating Vanity to a pulp! That's not to say that the flambouyant villain was a pushover, he certainly had his moments, a couple of times he managed to put together some good attacks of his own. Perhaps Wolf could have gone for his SAVAGE FACE CLAW earlier, though he seemed to enjoy letting the encounter drag on. The wildman living up to his reputation as a lover of a battle! With the blood of his fallen opponent on his claws, Wolf climbed the turnbuckle and wiped that stain over his chest while issuing his loud and familiar battle cry.
- Tag Team Bout - Animal Magic vs. Norse Gods Incredible Badger defeated Man-Mountain with an ANDROMEDA DROP at 1:18 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Another poor showing from the Norse Gods. They did little of any value in this bout. Man Mountain threw Badger out of the ring, that was pretty much the total offensive input from the Gods. The Animen showed a great sense of team work as they caught their giant opponent with the ANDROMEDA DROP. Lightening made an effort to break up the pin but was stopped in his tracks. These two teams have had very different starts to their GWF careers in terms of success.
- Singles Bout - Bishop Hell vs. Massif Bishop Hell defeated Massif with a HELLFIRE at 17:24 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: This epic encounter was an absolute classic! Bishop Hell survived the VOLCANIC DROP, proving that he has a will to win and the heart of a champion. Massif landed a series of power moves, enough to maybe have defeated a lesser opponent, Hell was able to break up those attacks with some offence of his own. Finally the two men collided in the middle of the ring as they both went for a huge clothesline. Perhaps as expected Massif was first to his feet and moved to lift Bishop Hell into the VOLCANIC DROP yet again, but the Bishop was playing possum and unleashed his HELLFIRE before rolling up the giant for a swift three count.
- Singles Bout - Star Warrior vs. Exo-King Star Warrior defeated Exo-King with a Disqualification at 10:11 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: This bout raged at a furious pace, there was no letting up at any point. For the full duration of the match-up there was no pin attempt, just a series of exchanged moves and strikes. Neither man was able to put together any truly decisive offence and it was no surprise that tempers frayed in such a competitive environment. With the action spilling out of the ring, Exo-King whirled a chair at Star Warrior, it only caught the heroes shoulder a glancing blow as he dodged aside, but that was enough for the referee to call for the bell.

GWF 46 12.26.2087 from The Mouse Trap, Twin Mice Spiral Galaxies.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Pit Viper, injured for one card.
- Doc Strongbow's News Roundup. - Welcome fans to the last regular GWF broadcast of the year. This is also my last card as your Commissioner, after Monday nights PPV "Apocalypse 2087" I shall be stepping down and handing the reigns over to Zachary Carter. After tonights matches, I shall be deciding who will be taking part in the Fatal Four way at Apocalypse for the GWF title. The rest of the bouts at Apocalypse will be decided by Commissioner Carter, together we'll be managing the evening. Thereafter I shall be concentrating on bringing you the latest news here in the GWF.
Looking to tonight, I can't wait to see Wolf and Bishop Hell go head to head, this promises to be a real classic of an encounter. We've seen the HELLFIRE a few times now, and it remains perhaps the most feared finisher in the federation. But Wolf has never been one to shy away from a challenge!
I've enjoyed my time as commissioner and I want to say a huge thank you to the fans for their continued support. I'd also like to thank the majority of our superstars here for the marvelous entertainment they've brought us. To Thantos, I've nothing more to say than I hope you meet your match at Apocalypse.
- Singles Bout - Beast-Rider vs. Vanity Vanity defeated Beast-Rider with a PULVERIZER at 0:40 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: This was a simple win for Vanity, in under a minute he had it the record books. Beast-Rider hardly put up a fight as he was completely overpowered by the flamboyant one. The brief nature of the bout was hardly the best way to start the evening and left a restless crowd expecting more from the night ahead. Vanity though celebrated with gusto, as ever making the most of every opportunity to show off and indulge his massive ego.
- Singles Bout - Omega vs. Death Knight Omega defeated Death Knight with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 1:53 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Omega dominated here from the outset, he took advantage of a clumsy initial attack by Death Knight and came back with a much more focused offence of his own. The lack of skill demonstrated by the villain was obvious as he struggled to get a foot hold in the encounter. When the end came it was greeted with a raucous whoop of delight from most of the fans, a short bout it may have been but Omega's popularity remains high. - Tag Team Bout - Greek Gods vs. The Henchmen Comrade Terror defeated Actagon with a backward leg at 15:47 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: Wow, suddenly the whole feel of the evening changed with this magnificent encounter. Both teams gave it everything as they fought for the win, the intensity of the event kept the audience on the edge of their seats and offering noisy support throughout. While the Greek Gods put in a hell of an effort, the Henchmen always seemed to just about have the upper hand. Comrade Terror was the pick of the four men, he hit both of the Gods with his Atomic Warhead a couple of times. With the win recorded both of the Henchmen gloated to the fans, earning only a chorus of boos as they made their way from the arena.
- Singles Bout - Invincible Krakan vs. Pulsar Invincible Krakan defeated Pulsar with a FALLING FACE SLAM at 2:10 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: As was expected Krakan took a straight forward win over the young Titan. The mismatch of a bout was brief and to the point with Krakan dominating from start to finish. The ever eager Pulsar made every effort to make an impact but was thwarted at each turn. His popularity remains as high as ever and shows no sign of dimming. Now that Apocalypse is just days away, the race to be involved in the Fatal Four Way for the title is hotting up, Krakan made a great show of miming the belt about his waist after taking the victory.
- Singles Bout - Exo-King vs. Renegade Renegade defeated Exo-King with a SPINECRACKER at 11:46 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Renegade took an excellent win over the powerful villain. The bout was closely competed from the beginning and either man could have taken the victory. Exo-King had every opportunity to put Renegade away in the early going, yet somehow he passed up a couple of good pinning positions to continue the beating. When finally, Renegade turned the tables and took the upper hand it came as a shock to everyone in attendance, the SPINECRACKER proving the decisive moment in a great match.
- Tag Team Bout - Bomb Squad vs. Animal Magic Incredible Badger defeated Adam Blast with an Ani-Men Ax Handle at 9:12 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: It was left to Incredible Badger to do most of the work for the win here. Reptillo seems to be struggling to adapt to the level of competition here in the GWF. Sam and Adam showed good team work skills here as they had the best of the bout for long periods. Several times Reptillo was lucky to escape a pin predicament and relied on his partner to save him. The level of ability showed by Badger was a real key indicator that he may be a real talent for the future.
- Singles Bout - Massif vs. Lord Nexus Massif defeated Lord Nexus with a VOLCANIC DROP at 6:42 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: This was an epic encounter, both men battling hard and giving everything. Nexus started the better and hit his TITAN DROP twice before Massif began to turn the tables. However, Nexus wasn't about to go down without a fight, he survived two VOLCANIC DROPS and still managed to battle back valiantly. When Massif crunched his opponent with his finisher for the third time in the match it was all over. Finally the Titan was unable to kick out and the bigger man sealed the win, it was good to see a shake of hands at the end between the two heroes.
- Singles Bout - Wolf vs. Bishop Hell Bishop Hell defeated Wolf with a HELLFIRE at 6:50 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Wolf was the first man to survive the HELLFIRE, although the very moment he kicked out Bishop Hell blasted him with the illegal move again! This time there was no escape and the three count followed. How the referee managed to miss the HELLFIRE on both occasions is a mystery. The wildman was left sprawled on the ring floor clutching his face, before making it to his feet and groping about the ring blindly, seeking to sink his claws into the victorious villain. It was to no avail as a chorus of boos followed Hell from the ring, quickly he's becoming one of the most hated men in the federation.
Overall Card Rating: 2.94

Apocalypse 2087 12.29.2087 from Sextans Superspeedway, Sextantis.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Nothing to report.
- Doc Strongbow's News Roundup. - Welcome to Apocalypse 2087, the final GWF event of the year and we plan to go out with a bang! Its also my last card as your Commissioner, all the more reason to make this one hell of an event. The main event tonight sees Thantos defend his title in a four corners match against Star Warrior, Spike and Massif. The Gladiators are also in action, defending their tag titles against Animal Magic. The Animen get their hands on the Gladiators for the first time, having seemingly made it their mission to battle the Aethran warriors. Another huge highlight sees Bishop Hell and Wolf go at it again in a rematch from Friday night. This is going to be huge folks, 2087 is coming to an end and the future of the GWF looks brighter than ever!
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Ghengis Khan Pulsar defeated Ghengis Khan with a reverse piledriver at 2:38 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: This was a great way to begin Apocalypse, the ever popular Pulsar really taking the more experienced Ghengis Khan to school. The Titan hit the ring in a hurry, pinning Khan a number of times before getting the three count. The disappointed villain beat the canvass with his fists before making his exit, leaving Pulsar to celebrate and soak in the excitement of the crowd. He stood on each corner turnbuckle in turn, marshalling the crowd as they chanted loudly. Its to be hoped that the rest of tonights action continues to impress from this good start.
- Singles Bout - Omega vs. Killer Queen Killer Queen defeated Omega with a Knife-edge at 10:29 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Killer Queen took the expected victory over the legendary Omega. It wasn't easy though as the battle raged for a full ten minutes. The veteran hero once more rolled back the years and put in a great performance, its becoming evident though that no matter how dedicated he remains, the old ability levels he enjoyed in his prime are long gone. The rumour that Omega may retire at the end of this year has been doing the rounds, but there's been no announcement yet. The winner of the bout Killer Queen celebrated robustly, with the three count recorded he was escorted from the ring by a bevy of regal beauties draped in extravagant silks. This man knows how to celebrate!
- Beauty and the Beast - We thought that Killer Queen had left the ring in style, that proved to be little more than a warm-up for the arrival of Vanity. The arena darkened, before the entranceway was lit by a line of glowing beams set into the floor at either side of that ramp. A dozen women dressed in billowing feathers and the like arrived at the end of the ramp, near the ring, forming a corridor. Then came Vanity, carried on an elaborate sedan chair by four bare chested, muscle bound men. Following behind two further men dragged a large wooden crate. This peculiar entourage made its was to the ring, where Vanity stepped from the chair and through the ropes, waiting while his helpers placed the large crate in the centre of the ring. Unfurling a leash, Vanity made toward the crate, signalling his men to open it up, he then stepped inside and emerged with an ugly, lumbering beast on the end of that leash. Having paraded the thing for a few moments he took to the microphone and addressed the crowd. "This my adoring fans is my pet, I personally and bravely freed him from the terrible cosmic zoo owned by Beast Rider. I call him The Creeper and I bring him here to the GWF. He will battle by my side and you are looking at the next Tag Team Champions. Together we are Beauty and the Beast. I thank you, now observe as we begin our journey into immortality." With that the crate and the helpers made their way from the ring and to the backstage area. The crowd waited to see how this new, bizarre team would fare as Commander Sam's music sounded over the speakers.
- Tag Team Bout - Bomb Squad vs. Beauty and the Beast Commander Sam defeated Vanity with a Cross-body press at 18:17 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: This wasn't exactly the result that Vanity wanted, though it was he that fell to the three count, he still showed anger and frustration with The Creeper, hurling abuse and accusations at his "pet" as he led the once more leashed beast from the ring. Sam and Adam were quick to berate Vanity after the win, unhappy of his treatment of The Creeper. Not that it did any good. The two earthmen seemed pleased with the win and look poised to have a good 2088, young Mr Blast continues to develop and improve, just how far can he go?
- Singles Bout - Death Knight vs. Renegade Renegade defeated Death Knight with a SPINECRACKER at 3:52 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Death Knight began well, putting together a few good attacking moves before Renegade took control. One he had the upper hand he never let go, the SPINECRACKER ended the encounter emphatically. Having taken the win, Renegade wasted no time and left the ring quickly. He didn't linger at all, and was gone almost before the fans realised what had happened.
- Tag Team Bout - Greek Gods vs. Norse Gods Lightening defeated Proteus with a NORSE SLEEPER GRIP at 4:13 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: The Norse Gods won the battle of the Gods, they reversed their recent run of bad form with a win over the team they came to the GWF to challenge. Lightening proved that his NORSE SLEEPER GRIP is just as potent as the similar move used by Actagon. Not a good end to the year for The Greek Gods, they seem further away from the titles now than they have been for some time. As these two teams go into the coming year they look set to engage in a deadly feud, especially now that the Norse Gods are finding some form.
- Titan Death Match - Lord Nexus vs. Invincible Krakan Lord Nexus defeated Invincible Krakan with a Karate chop at 4:19 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Lord Nexus took a routine win against his mortal enemy. While Krakan survived three TITAN DROPS, he was clearly dazed and woozy. With little defence left he fell victim to the pin just moments later. There was a sense of disappointment among the fans, clearly much had been expected of this encounter and it failed to deliver. - Singles Bout - Wolf vs. Bishop Hell Bishop Hell defeated Wolf with a HELLFIRE at 10:37 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: Bishop Hell continued his unbeaten record in the GWF, this rematch was an epic encounter and a far tighter affair than before. Both men had opportunities and pin attempts. It was a fiercely brutal match that swung back and forth. Yet again it was the dreaded HELLFIRE that made the difference. Bishop Hell proved that he can compete on a level field with Wolf, though it was his diabolical finisher that he relied upon to end the match. With the win in the bag, Hell climbed the corner turnbuckle and conjured flame from his fist, shooting it skyward. A very deliberate display of his cheating ways. Surely he must get caught in the act soon?
- Tag Team Title Bout -
- Tag Team Bout - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Animal Magic for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Massacre defeated Reptillo with a MASSACRE SLAM at 13:01 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: The first clash between these two teams ended with the champions coming out on top. The Animen had their chances, Massacre only just kicked out of the BURROW BLAST at one point. Incredible Badger was again the strongest element of his team, Reptillo continues to struggle with the level of competition in the GWF. Brute and Massacre have been dominant in the tag league for most of this year, ending 2087 clearly head and shoulders above all other teams. Can they be stopped in the coming year?
- Galaxian Title Bout -
- Fatal Four Way Bout - Thantos vs. Massif vs. Star Warrior vs. Spike for the Galaxian Championship Massif defeated Thantos with a VOLCANIC DROP at 24:35 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: Massif claimed the title in this epic four way encounter. The four men battled ferociously for dominance as the crowd watched in awe at the events unfolding. Star Warrior crushed Spike with an amazing version of his NOVA LAUNCH into a ringside table that pretty much ended the Gladiators participation in the bout. As the popular hero jumped back into the ring, he was met by Thantos with a huge Satanic Skull Smasher that instantly left Star Warrior bleeding heavily, he fell back out of the ring and was a shadow of his former self for the remainder of the bout. Thantos had been targeted by all three of his opponents and was clearly weary as Massif closed in for the kill. A huge VOLCANIC DROP was sufficient to see a new champion crowned. Confetti fell from the ceiling as the big man held aloft the title. Thantos attacked the new champion and found himself victim to another massive VOLCANIC DROP that rocked the ring. Spike and Star Warrior received medical attention while Massif celebrated, the outgoing Commissioner, Doc Strongbow, arrived at the entranceway ramp and applauded the winner, he was clearly delighted to see Thantos dethroned. A new year and a new era in the GWF is about to begin.
Massif won the Galaxian Championship

GWF 47 01.02.2088 from Canopus Civic Coliseum, Carina.
- Commissioner Carter: 2087 in review. - "Welcome one and all, my name is Zachary Carter, and I'm here in my first official engagement as your new commissioner. Tonight we celebrate the year just ended, we look back at 2087 and those who excelled. We also look forward to 2088 with our first ever Rookie Brawl! So lets get down to it, we have three awards to give out tonight, starting with the Rookie of the Year. This goes to the man who made the biggest impact in their first year here in the GWF. To qualify they must have been competing for more than six months and less than eighteen. The first winner of the GWF Rookie of the Year Award goes to.... Pulsar! Earlier Pulsar recorded this message"
(The image flicked over to Pulsar, at ringside, clearly following a workout session.)
"Thank you so much to all the fans who've supported me through my first year, let me assure you that this simply wouldn't be possible without their help. I look forward to 2088 and doing everything in my power to prove worthy of this award. Thanks again everyone."
(Back to Carter we go, as he prepares for the next award.)
"Congratulations to Pulsar, well deserved I have to say. Now onto Tag Team of the Year, the award for the most dominant or improved team of the past 12 months. It should come as no surprise to hear that this goes to The Gladiators. They recorded the following message earlier."
(The image dissolved to show The Gladiators, all three of them. Massacre spoke briefly into the camera.)
"This is no less than we deserve. The most dominant team of all time are here. The rest of the galaxy, you better shut the hello up, The Gladiators are here!"
(Once more Carter reappeared and continued as before)
"Thanks to Massacre and Brute there. Now onto our final award of the year, its time to salute the GWF wrestler of the year. There's only been one man who's dominated for much of the year. Thantos takes the award, however he refused to record a winners speech. He claims that the manner in which he lost his title was fixed and denied the opportunity to associate himself with Doc Strongbow's period as commissioner any further."
(There followed a montage of the award winners in action, a hi-light reel of them in action. Thereafter, Carter continued.)
"Thank you folks, and congratulations to our winners. Now its to the ring and the first ever Rookie Brawl. This is open only to those wrestlers with less than six months experience at this point. That gives us eight entrants at this point. However, Krakan has introduced a new member of the Society of Death, making his debut in the Rookie Brawl will be Splatter! With a name like that, expect fireworks. This match will be fought under Battle Royal rules, the winner to receive a title shot at the next PPV! Now lets get down to the ring and let the action begin!"

GWF 48 01.09.2088 from Glacier Sound, Pluto.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Nothing to report.
- Doc Strongbow's News Update. - Good evening and welcome fans to our second show of 2088. What a start to the year its been, last week we saw newcomer Splatter win the Rookie Rumble and book himself a title clash with Massif at Shakedown in a few weeks. Tonight we see Splatter in singles action, how will he fare against our rookie of the year Pulsar? We have yet another debutante tonight, Bishop Hell finds himself answering the challenge of the mysterious Mesmer. Now, Mesmer is the newest member of the Federation Defence Fighters, looks like Omega and Star Warrior have added to their number. Of course, the biggest news of late is the arrival of Commissioner Carter, he's already starting to shape the GWF the way he sees fit and I have to say I approve. The Rookie Brawl was a great way to begin his time in charge, while he's playing his cards close to his chest he has hinted that there are more signings to come in the following weeks. We of course know that a third Ani-man is joining us, no confirmation yet as to his identity but the rumour persists that it will be the former champion of the AWA. When I know more on either of these two new arrivals, you'll hear it here first fans. Now, lets get on with tonights action. Splatter lets see what you've got!
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Splatter Pulsar defeated Splatter with a WHIRLWIND at 8:30 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: This doesn't bode well for Splatters forthcoming title match. Though the action was close throughout, there was no killer instinct from the new Society of Death member. He seemed overawed in making his singles debut. Credit has to be given to Pulsar, he was professional from the first bell and deserved to have his arm raised in victory. A fantastic start to the year for the fan favourite.
- Singles Bout - Renegade vs. Mutant Renegade defeated Mutant with a Shoulder breaker at 11:41 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: Renegade began well here, starting things off at high speed, he hit his SPINECRACKER in the early going and perhaps could have ended the bout earlier. However, Mutant proved to be remarkably defiant and fought back well, having the better of the mid section before Renegade again asserted himself. The Cropper claimed a well deserved win in the end, ensuring he made a great start to the new year. - Singles Bout - Pit Viper vs. Vanity Pit Viper defeated Vanity with a Count-Out at 3:51 Match Rating: 1.75 Match Notes: This was a straight forward win for Pit Viper, he was in control for the majority of the bout. In the early going Vanity tried to launch a series of attacks, but found himself thwarted in his efforts. When the Titan then upped his efforts and showed a more offensive edge Vanity seemed to crumble. He scurried out of the ring after a stinging Snake Bite and sought to recover. Pit Viper had other ideas though and he hit a perfect shoulder block from the top rope to the concrete floor, leaving Vanity laid out helplessly. The flambouyant one failed to make the ten count, unable to drag himself back into the ring in time.
- Tag Team Bout - Bomb Squad vs. Norse Gods Lightening defeated Adam Blast with a Cross-body block at 6:11 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: Both teams put in a great display, the battle raging right from the start. The action went back and forth until Man-Mountain and Adam Blast met in the ring, the young hero simply couldn't put the hurt on the big man. This proved to be the decisive period of the bout, by the time that Lightening tagged back in, Adam was spent and clearly was weakening. This gave the Norse Gods the opportunity they needed and the win duly followed. After a bad start to their time in the GWF, perhaps the Gods are finally finding their feet.
- Singles Bout - Thantos vs. Omega Thantos defeated Omega with a Running Clothesline at 6:50 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Thantos spent longer during this bout arguing with the officials, the ringside announcers and even the fans! He is clearly still incredibly bitter about losing his title at the end of last year. Every time that the aged Omega found himself laid out on the mat the former champion failed to push the advantage and instead continued his ranting! Finally, Thantos nearly took Omega's head off with a thunderous clothesline, taking a routine three count before he grabbed a microphone and shouted out to anyone who would listen! "I am Thantos.. I should be champion, I have been robbed by a former and clearly biased Commissioner. I demand a title shot, I demand my rightful place as Champion once again. Until I have that shot, I am going to continue to break every opponent you dare put into the ring with me!"
With that Thantos turned his attention back to a still recovering Omega, he dragged him by the foot to the edge of the ring. there he climbed through the ropes, placed Omega's ankle on the edge of the ring apron and proceeded to stamp on it fully as he leaped from the ring. The resulting snapping of that ankle could be heard throughout the arena. The crowd clearly shocked and horrified as the furious Thantos stalked back stage.
- Singles Bout - Star Warrior vs. Killer Queen Star Warrior defeated Killer Queen with a NOVA LAUNCH at 11:04 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: A clearly distracted Star Warrior took his time to get going in this encounter, he was very obviously concerned with the well being of his father who moments earlier, had left the arena on a stretcher. When he landed his impressive NOVA LAUNCH the bout was all over however. The popular hero found himself a microphone and made a very brief, simple statement. "Commissioner Carter, I want Thantos in the ring. He will pay".
With that threat hanging in the air, Star Warrior left the arena to the cheers of the crowd.
- Tag Team Bout - Animal Magic vs. Henchmen Comrade Terror defeated Reptillo with an ATOMIC WARHEAD at 12:15 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: After the drama of the last couple of bouts, it was good to see some quality wrestling with both of these teams putting on an impressive display. Its unfortunate that Reptillo seems to lack the ability of his tag partner. Once again it was down to Incredible Badger to put in a double shift in order for Animal Magic to be truly competitive. He could do nothing though when Comrade Terror finished off Reptillo. He just couldn't make the save in time, thanks to the timely intervention by Executioner. It will be interesting to see if the team dynamic changes once the final member of the Animen arrives. Many fans continue to speculate that it'll be the AWA heavyweight champion Battering Ram. Time alone will tell.
- Singles Bout - Bishop Hell vs. Mesmer Bishop Hell defeated Mesmer with a HELLFIRE at 21:26 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: Wow! What a bout, Mesmer started brilliantly and took a clear early advantage. But Bishop Hell was not to be out done and he staged a great comeback, having a great spell of dominance before yet again the bout swung the other way. The two men brawled both in and out the ring, thrilling the crowd with the intensity of the match-up. Mesmer proved to be immediately popular and had the fans chanting his name loudly. Toward the end of the fight, Bishop Hell hit a perfect FLYING CROSS, it seemed that he probably could have taken the win there and then, but he refused to go for the count, instead setting up Mesmer for his dreaded HELLFIRE. The referee wasn't in position to see the illegal move and it earned the villain a hard fought victory.
Overall Card Rating: 3.06

GWF 49 01.16.2088 from Ariel Armoury, Uranus.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Nothing to report.
- Doc Strongbow's News Update. - Good evening fans, welcome back to the GWF. Now its fair to say that the last week has been a long one, it certainly seems like its much more than a week since we were last here! The main event tonight sees an encounter between Lord Nexus and Killer Queen, we are also promised further news on the arrival of a new Titan joining the hallowed ranks of the GWF. Tonight is the continuation of the new year, 2088 hits a new level and we motor into the future strongly. The Ani-Men have yet to provide further news on the expected arrival of their newest member. However, it is expected that it could well be the reigning champion of the AWA, yes that's right Ram may well soon feature here in the GWF! With that thought in mind, lets get on with the action, its time to get underway.
- Singles Bout - Pulsar vs. Mutant Mutant defeated Pulsar with a Face mangler at 3:25 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: There were great hopes among the Titans that young Pulsar would hit the new year with a bang. Simply put he didn't seem to be on his game tonight, starting badly it only got worse. Every move he attempted fell short and Mutant was able to turn the tables in the process of recording a well deserved win. Mutant clearly wasn't overwhelmed by the win, he seemed completely unaware of the three count. Long after Pulsar had left the ring with the bitter taste of defeat, Mutant was still rebounding off the ropes as he ran back and forth aimlessly.
- Singles Bout - Mesmer vs. Death Knight Mesmer defeated Death Knight with an Eye blinder at 1:30 Match Rating: 0.75 Match Notes: This was a non-event of a match, Mesmer dominated from the first moment and took a simple win. Death Knight was hopelessly outclassed here and found himself on the losing end in short order. The Master of the Occult recorded a first win in the GWF and will clearly be hoping this is the start of great things. It has to be said that he's not a popular wrestler with the fans, there seems to be an aura about him that inspires uneasiness. - Tag Team Bout - Greek Gods vs. Beauty and the Beast Proteus defeated The Creeper with an OVERHEAD TOSS at 13:45 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: The Greek Gods put on a fantastic display here, showing great teamwork throughout. Actagon was in the ring for the early part of the encounter, wearing down the opponents until the more powerful Proteus took over and delivered the crushing finish to the bout. The OVERHEAD TOSS proved the decisive blow and led to the win. There wasn't too much celebrating by the by the victors at the end, clearly they have other targets in mind.
- Singles Bout - Commander Sam vs. Exo-King Commander Sam defeated Exo-King with a SAMS ATOMIC DROP at 1:46 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: This short bout was very much in two parts, the early moments were dominated by Exo-King he bullied Sam in the ring and was well on the way to an easy win. However, when the two men tumbled from the ring, Commander Sam took over, after whipping his opponent into the ring post. Exo-King was clearly stunned and unable to gather himself as he was thrown back into the ring. With a couple of SAM'S ATOMIC BLASTS it was all over, an upset win for the popular american.
- Singles Bout - Adam Blast vs. Ghengis Khan Ghengis Khan defeated Adam Blast with a Ghengis Khan hits a perfect flying cross-body to the outside! at 2:49 Match Rating: 0.75 Match Notes: Ghengis Khan dominated completely, he crushed Adam Blast with ease. Taking to the air to showcase his acrobatic skills, Khan landed several crushing deathjumps in a row, Adam simply had no answer to that sustained attack. Thereafter Khan tossed his young opponent out of the ring, where the american simply was unable to get back to his feet. Khan sat in the corner of the ring and waited while the referee counted to ten, then he lifted to his feet and sidled from the arena with the win in the record books.
- Singles Bout - Thantos vs. Pit Viper Thantos defeated Pit Viper with a Satanic Skull Crusher at 1:37 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Pit Viper had asked for this match, he wanted desperately to climb into the ring with the former champion again. Perhaps hoping to prove that he could do better against his formidable opponent. However, Thantos had other ideas, he hit a perfect Satanic Skull Crusher from the top rope and didn't even need to turn to his feared MASTERLOCK. With the win recorded he claimed a microphone and snarled his frustrations. "I should be champion, I am Thantos and I want my title back. This federation is a [censored] joke, I demand respect." With that he left the ring, leaving a still dazed Pit Viper struggling to make it to his feet.
- Tag Team Bout - Henchmen vs. Animal Magic Comrade Terror defeated Reptillo with a Comrade Terror hits a surprise cross-body press! Here\'s the cover! at 13:19 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: The Ani-Men just can't seem to find any kind of momentum, yet again The Incredible Badger was the driving force with Reptillo proving to be the weak link. He seems a shadow of the dominant tag champion we'd seen in the AWA previously. However, despite the weakness evident in Animal Magic, the skills demonstrated by The Henchmen should not be overlooked. Comrade Terror and Executioner continue to grow as a team and are sure to remain a constant threat for the tag titles throughout the coming year.
- Singles Bout - Lord Nexus vs. Killer Queen Lord Nexus defeated Killer Queen with a TITAN DROP at 7:02 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: These two men always put on a good display and it was no different here. The skillful and swift attacking style of both competitors make for a real treat for the fans. Lord Nexus however emerged the victor and it was his TITAN DROP that proved the difference maker. A breathless display of high flying wrestling brought to an end a fine evenings entertainment. However, there was more to come! While Nexus celebrated, his mortal enemy Krakan dashed to the ring and attempted an attack, fortunately for the Titan he missed in his first assault, and then found himself laid out in the centre of the ring. The victim of a thunderous right hook by a newcomer who'd leapt into the ring to defend Lord Nexus. The leader of the Titans then took the time to introduce the newcomer as Billy Jo Boxer, announcing that he was the newest member of the Titans and that they'd be forming a tag team with the aim of claiming the gold. The evening therefore ended on a high for the fans, with both Killer Queen and Krakan laid out helplessly, Nexus and Boxer left the arena to a huge and lasting cheer of support from the crowd.

GWF 50 01.23.2088 from Io Coliseum, Jupiter.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Nothing to report.
- Doc Strongbow's News Update. - Good evening folks and welcome to the fiftieth GWF house show since our relaunch at the beginning of last year. We are just a week away from Shakedown where our new champion Massif will defend against Splatter. Building up to this huge event tonight sees a return to the ring for the legendary Omega. With it being the 50th event tonight, we have not one but two main events! Wolf takes on Exo-King while Bishop Hell brings his unbeaten run to the ring against Star Warrior. But thats not all, we have the debut of our newest tag team Titan Power and the ever popular Lord Nexus has already declared that they intend to go all guns blazing to earn the tag team title straps. Now, down to the ring. Lets get this thing started.
- Singles Bout - Omega vs. Massacre Massacre defeated Omega with a DECAPITATOR at 3:32 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: Omega missed an early running shoulder tackle into the turnbuckle and from that moment on he was at Massacre's mercy. A series of high impact moves came to an end with the DECAPITATOR, though to his credit Omega survived the first of these, though it had no effect on the flow of the bout. The Gladiator claimed an easy win, very straight forward stuff. It seems a shame to see the once great Omega struggling to reach the heights he'd previously attained.
- Singles Bout - Pit Viper vs. Spike Spike defeated Pit Viper with a SUPER DESTROYER at 13:45 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: These two men put on a great show in what proved to be a very even bout for the most part. Spike's power eventually proved the difference maker, though the Gladiator seemed a little surprised by the brutal nature of Pit Vipers attacks. The young Titan continues to push the bounds of decency as he fought with a ferocious nature that belies his place as one of the heroic Titans.
- Tag Team Bout - Bomb Squad vs. Animal Magic Incredible Badger defeated Commander Sam with a BURROW BLAST at 3:21 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Reptillo put in a match winning performance here and for once showed that he has some real talent. He dominated the veteran Commander Sam before tagging out to Incredible Badger. The BURROW BLAST levelled the human and the impressive Reptillo prevented Adam Blast from making the pin save. If Reptillo can keep this kind of form up and provide a strong partner to the clearly very skilled Badger then Animal Magic could go a long way and perhaps see a title shot in the near future.
- Singles Bout - Renegade vs. Mutant Renegade defeated Mutant with a SPINECRACKER at 13:21 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Mutant came to the ring with fire in his eyes and clearly knew his stuff on this occasion, he fought with a real passion and purpose. However, Renegade was equally up for the challenge and proved just too great an obstacle for the ugliest man in wrestling. With the bout swinging back and forth and a number of violent engagements outside of the ring it was no surprise to see both men bleeding by the time the end came. The dreaded SPINECRACKER finished the encounter, once it was locked in there was just no escape for the Mutant. He should be congratulated though, its not often he comes to the ring so prepared to fight.
- Tag Team Bout - Greek Gods vs. Henchmen Comrade Terror defeated Proteus with an ATOMIC WARHEAD at 43:20 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: Wow! This must be an early contender for tag team bout of the year! This battle was so hard fought and competitive that the whole crowd were on the edge of their seats throughout. Until the half hour mark there was nothing to separate the two teams, they both had periods of dominance and all four men gave and took a great deal of punishment. However, it was at that half hour point that things turned in favour of the Henchmen, Proteus barely survived two HEADSMAN GUILLOTINES and it looked like it was all over. However, there were hopes of a heroic comeback as the Greek Gods fought back brilliantly. When the end came it was greeted with a standing ovation, despite the fact that the hugely unpopular Henchmen emerged victorious.
- Singles Bout - Mesmer vs. Killer Queen Mesmer defeated Killer Queen with a BLACKOUT at 8:35 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Mesmer claimed a well deserved win here, he was in control for the majority of the bout and never looked in any real trouble. Killer Queen had a few moments in the ascendancy, but they were few and far between and he was never able to turn them into anything meaningful. With the win secured Mesmer rolled from the ring and signaled his delight, the crowd however continue to be slow in warming to him. But it has to be said that he's getting there, slowly but surely he's garnering more followers.
- Tag Team Bout - TitanPower vs. Norse Gods Lord Nexus defeated Lightening with a TITAN DROP at 9:18 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Titan Power made an emphatic start to their career in the tag team ranks. They showed an immediate skill at working together. Billy Jo Boxer made an impressive debut but it was his partner Lord Nexus that really shone. Their opponents, The Norse Gods were unable to raise any meaningful offence and were well beaten in the end. They did prove hard to beat however and kept themselves in contention for longer than seemed possible.
- Singles Bout - Wolf vs. Exo-King Wolf defeated Exo-King with a SAVAGE FACE CLAW at 47:45 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: Another epic as Wolf and Exo-King fought valiantly, a truly brutal match-up that electrified the audience. Exo-King looked to have the better of the bout for the most part, but he was just unable to put Wolf away. Though he continued to have the better of things, King was unable to finish and began to tire into the later stages. Wolf had his moments and was always in contention, when he finally caught his opponent in his SAVAGE FACE CLAW there just wasn't enough fight left in Exo-King and he was forced to tap. With two main events tonight, the next bout has a lot to live up to.
- Singles Bout - Star Warrior vs. Bishop Hell Star Warrior defeated Bishop Hell with a Cross body block at 15:32 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Star Warrior survived an early FLYING CROSS and then began to assert himself and build toward a well deserved victory. The hugely popular hero brought Bishop Hell's winning streak to an end, in the later stages of the encounter he simply dazzled Hell with his skilled and swift attacks that left the villain exhausted and without the strength to kick out of a well timed cross body block. While it seems certain that Thantos will get his title shot soon, it has to be noted that Star Warrior is knocking on that door.

GWF 51 01.30.2088 from Achernar Technodrome, Eridanus.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Nothing to report.
- Doc Strongbow's News Update. - Shakedown is just days away and here we are with another packed show tonight. Thantos and Mesmer meet in a huge main event tonight which could have serious repercussions for the line up at Shakedown. Reptillo makes his debut as a singles wrestler tonight, with the contract to sign Ram almost signed, he seems to be wanting to prove that he should be the singles star of the team ahead of the AWA champions arrival. Wolf has made it clear that he wants to face Spike in a cage at Shakedown. However the Gladiator is eager to take on Krakan instead. If Wolf beats Spike tonight he'll get the fight he wants. It seems there's lingering bad blood between the two with Spike claiming that Wolf was never worthy to be a Gladiator. Should be a great show folks, now its time for action.
- Singles Bout - Omega vs. Death Knight Omega defeated Death Knight with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 11:42 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Omega survived a determined attack by Death Knight as the villain laid it all on the line in search of victory. The legendary veteran though used all his wiles to survive and launch a great comeback. With a huge effort he caught Death Knight with a series of great moves before tossing him out of the ring. The referee came close to making the count out but somehow the Knight crawled back into the ring and straight into a well timed TOMAHAWK THRUST.
- Singles Bout - Reptillo vs. Ghengis Khan Ghengis Khan defeated Reptillo with a Deadly throat chop at 5:09 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Reptillo came to the ring amid a series of videos that lit up the auditorium. The highlights included images of his run as AWA Heavyweight Champion and his two stints as AWA Tag Champion. The footage culminated with images of Reptillo posing with his various title belts, then he took to the microphone. "I Reptillo am among the most decorated wrestlers in AWA history, with Ram arriving in the next couple of days its evident that I should be the lead star in the Ani-Men team here in the GWF. Tonight, you'll see me in action as I prove once and for all that I am the past, present and future of professional wrestling!"
The fight itself was a let down as Ghengis Khan in typical quiet fashion took the fight to Reptillo and destroyed him with an array of devastating karate moves. After the bell Reptillo sat in the ring feeling sorry for himself before slinking from the ring unhappily.
- Tag Team Bout - TitanPower vs. Henchmen Executioner defeated Billy Jo Boxer with a Hangman's Clothesline at 23:00 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: The Henchmen claimed a great win in a long and difficult encounter. The difference between the two teams seemed to be Billy Jo Boxer just not being used to the wrestling game, he showed just why he's a rookie at the moment! The good news for the Titans though is that after losing the two men embraced and showed a real unity and a desire to improve. Meanwhile both Terror and Executioner celebrated in typical fashion, terrifying the crowds and making loud claims about being the next tag champs. It does seem likely that they could find themselves against the Gladiators at Shakedown.
- Singles Bout - Star Warrior vs. The Creeper Star Warrior defeated The Creeper with a NOVA LAUNCH at 1:52 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: Just as expected Star Warrior barely broke sweat as he won here. The Creeper left the ring without ever having managed to make an attacking move. The bout may have been brief, but the popular hero spent much longer signing autographs and posing for photographs with the fans. Its no secret that Thantos is favoured to receive a title shot after Splatter, but the campaign to get Star Warrior bidding for the belt thereafter has clearly begun.
- Singles Bout - Wolf vs. Spike Wolf defeated Spike with a Disqualification at 1:21 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: The bout had barely begun when it tumbled out of the ring, Wolf cracked his head against the corner of the ring announcers table and poured blood. The referee took a moment to get into position and made an assumption that Spike had used an illegal weapon, the DQ followed moments thereafter. Wolf howled in triumph and mocked his opponent with threats of the Torture Chamber bout to come at Shakedown. Spike was beside himself with fury (and maybe even fear) and beat the ring and the tables in frustration. He swung a chair at Wolf, missed, hit the ring post and the rebounding chair shot caught himself full in the face. With both men now bleeding and Spike laid out on the floor the crowd chanted "Cage, cage, cage.." over and over, mocking the fallen Gladiator.
- Tag Team Bout - Greek Gods vs. Norse Gods Proteus defeated Lightening with an OVERHEAD TOSS at 33:41 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: The Greek Gods dominated the bout and had the referee not been knocked out cold they would have taken victory earlier. When a new ref made it to the ring, order was restored following a wild brawl involving all four men. The Norse Gods hung on by a thread, constantly on the verge of being beaten yet somehow avoiding the pin. Finally Proteus got it done, Actagon preventing the pin save and the Greek Gods had the win they wanted. They made ardent claims that the next title shot should be theirs, much as the Henchmen had done earlier. Clearly Commissioner Carter has some thinking to do!
- Singles Bout - Mesmer vs. Thantos Thantos defeated Mesmer with a MASTERLOCK at 0:57 Match Rating: 0.25 Match Notes: Thantos is clearly in no mood for messing around. He caught Mesmer in the feared MASTERLOCK within seconds and there just was no escape. With the bell rung to signal his win, Thantos claimed a microphone and warned Massif that he was on "borrowed time" and that he was coming for the big man. He then proceeded to claim that once he was champion again, he'd launch what he called the "Masterlock Challenge" He gave no more details, but seemed to believe that his reclaiming the title was little more than a formality.

Shakedown 2088 02.02.2088 from Spica Pyramid, Virgo.
- Injury and Suspension Update. - Nothing to report.
- Doc Strongbow's News Update. - Ladies and Gentlemen, this is Shakedown!
The GWF's first PPV event of 2088, here we go. It is on!
- Singles Bout - Bishop Hell vs. Pit Viper Pit Viper defeated Bishop Hell with a VENOM BLAST at 3:27 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: A fantastic result for Pit Viper, getting the evening off to a great start and recording perhaps his best career win to date. Bishop Hell had the match dominated and looked to be heading toward a win, he hit his FLYING CROSS perfectly, but Pit Viper managed to roll through it and came up with his VENOM BLAST that earned him a surprise win. The fans were absolutely wild and cheered wildly in support of the Titan. Bishop Hell meanwhile was absolutely furious and completely stunned by the sudden reversal.
- Singles Bout - Mesmer vs. Comrade Terror Mesmer defeated Comrade Terror with a BLACKOUT at 5:50 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: This evenly contested bout showcased the different skills of the two men, the power game of Comrade Terror against the agility based approach of Mesmer. With the action going back and forth neither man really established a clear advantage, perhaps Terror came closest to doing so, but Mesmer proved very resilient. When the BLACKOUT hit, there was no warning it came out of the blue and rewarded Mesmer with the win. This seemed to push the newcomer further into the fans affections, he is really starting to win them over.
- Tag Team Bout - Bomb Squad vs. Norse Gods Man-Mountain defeated Adam Blast with a Rib Crusher at 8:37 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: The Norse Gods earned a great win, claiming the three count despite the best effort of the popular humans. The difference maker here was Man Mountain, Adam Blast lacked the experience to cope with such a big man and Commander Sam proved second best in a test of strength with the giant. The Gods really have struggled to find a clear run of form thus far, but maybe they can turn that around and make a run for the gold on the back of performances like this.
- Singles Bout - Thantos vs. Renegade Thantos defeated Renegade with a MASTERLOCK at 3:06 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Thantos took an easy win, save for the opening minute or so he was in complete control. Renegade was second best throughout and just didn't have the game to put up too much of a fight. When the MASTERLOCK snapped on it was all over, Renegade managed to fight it for a moment, but the pressure soon became too much and he tapped. Thantos then tossed Renegade over the top rope and arrogantly faced each side of the ring, holding his hands out to his sides and basking in the respectful hate of the large crowd.
- Singles Bout - Star Warrior vs. Invincible Krakan Invincible Krakan defeated Star Warrior with a FALLING FACE SLAM at 6:23 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Many fans believe that Star Warrior is on the verge of a title shot, however this result may change that. Krakan caught his opponent with his FALLING FACE SLAM early in the bout and it seemed to unsettle the Cetan for the remainder of the bout, Star warrior was unable to get his usual game going and it seemed only a matter of time until he was caught in yet another FALLING FACE SLAM. The second of those finishers proved the difference maker and the three count followed, something of a hush fell over the crowd, they had obviously expected to see their hero win tonight.
- Tag Team Bout - Animal Magic vs. TitanPower Reptillo defeated Billy Jo Boxer with a LIZARD CLUTCH at 4:57 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Following his poor showing last time out, Reptillo put in a much better performance this time. He stepped up to the plate and held his own against the talented team of the Titans. Billy Jo Boxer yet again fell prey to the pin and revealed his inexperience in the wrestling ring. There seems to be a lot of potential with the Titan pair and it remains to be seen if they can take that to the next level. Lord Nexus continues to show his patience with his new partner as you'd expect from the diligent hero.
- Torture Chamber Bout - Wolf vs. Spike Spike defeated Wolf with a SUPER DESTROYER at 21:16 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: Before the match, Spike showed a reluctance to enter the Torture Chamber, the walls of the cage forming a menacing structure and one that Wolf evidently relishes. However, Spike held his own once the bout began and he matched the wildman at every step. It didn't take long until both men were busted open by the sheer brutality. Following the violence and using the cage as a weapon for much of the bout, it was a more traditional move, the SUPER DESTROYER that brought the win for the Gladiator. With the win in the bag, he climbed a turnbuckle and pointed at his facepaint, making it clear that Wolf never deserved to wear it. The excitement wasn't over however, as Spike left the cage, Wolf having recovered, pounced onto the bigger man's back and locked in his SAVAGE FACE CLAW ripping flesh and drawing rivulets of blood. Despite warnings from the ref, Wolf would not let up and deepened the hold, targeting his claws at Spike's nose, mouth and eyes. By the time Wolf finally left go, Spike was near unconscious and covered in blood.
Spike injured three cards. Wolf suspended one card.
- Tag Team Title Bout -
- Tag Team Bout - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Greek Gods for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Massacre defeated Proteus with an Atomic knee drop at 20:13 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: This bout may have lasted for some time, but the outcome was never in much doubt. The champions were simply better than the challengers. Both Actagon and Proteus were victim to several pin attempts each and only through a sheer effort of will were they able to stay in the bout for so long. When finally the encounter came to an end, it was something of a mercy killing. The Gladiators are really on their game at the moment, can anyone take their belts away?
- Galaxian Title Bout -
- Singles Bout - Massif vs. Splatter for the Galaxian Championship Massif defeated Splatter with a VOLCANIC DROP at 2:39 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Massif could hardly have been any more impressive, he put on a champions performance and dominated the encounter from beginning to end. Having taken the win the big man slung his belt over his shoulder and stepped over the ropes to leave the ring. Then Thantos appeared at the top of the ramp and the two men locked their gazes, neither of them breaking that stare. The threat implicit between the two warriors as the show faded from the air.
