Not a huge Shogun fan, but really not a Jones fan at all, so pulling for Shogun here to retain. Happy to see Faber make his debut, but Wineland is no push over (25-6-1, on a 4 fight win streak), so I am hoping for a solid fight. Schaub was supposed to face Mir, but now it is Cro Cop. I just hope that Mirko shows up, I hate watching him get embarrassed. He was such a force in Pride FC and to see him look bad kills me.

I think part of the reason Cro Cop has sucked this bad in UFC is that he still trains in a ring instead of a cage. Silly as it sounds, it does make a difference. Shogun's beating Bones. I like Bones, but the people saying he can beat Shogun are out of their mind. Shogun's one of the best ever, Bones has a long way to go.

I hope it is a fight and not a 20 minute schooling of a less experienced fighter.

I don't understand how Shogun is an underdog in public sentiment here. He's clearly better than Jones is.
CroCop sucks in a cage. He seems to lose his striking ability with the extra room and added angles.

CroCop added a cage to his traing regime after Gonzaga put him to sleep.
The problems with Mirko are myriad: He has mainly one weapon, he was gunshy in using it and he it getting up there in age. At 37 or, that is not old, but he had a kickboxing career before MMA, and all of those shots add up. It is never the chronological age, but the toll of the wars on the body.

I think Nelson could not just be "an attraction" but a real contender. He has been the ring/cage with some really talented men and he is 15-5. If he gets past Mir, then he could work his way into the title picture.

Yeah, I was surprised it was one-sided. I hope we get Jones-Evans some time over the summer.. that'd be a sweet fight.
Faber didn't look nearly as good as last time I saw him in WEC, maybe nerves, or maybe the weight change?
Watching Cro Cop suck is just a bit sad... put I suppose the guy deserves the paycheck... I wonder if we'll see him again (that was 3 losses in a row)

Man, Shogun just looked like he didn't know what to do with Jones. I honestly thought Jones wasn't ready for that level of match but boy, I was really wrong there.

Prior to Mir he won two in a row. He's not what he used to be but he's still competitive. Shit, Tito hasn't won a fight in over 4 years and they still pit him in there.

Really? Huh.. I could have sworn the announcers said he had lost two in a row.
You're probably right, though, he's still a draw, and still competitive.

Dana has pretty much said Mirko is done. I bet they give him a nice, cushy "president of UFC Europe" gig or something.
