These are the years I generally hear nothing about and or see anyone post results from. I'm just curious about the major storylines and characters from these years 2108 was the last fed wars edition which was a fun time in my original fed's timeline. 2109 - 2111 was The End storyline... I had began to lose interest with the GWF with the whole moving to Centra thing. 2112 was the beginning of the Cordanus Takeover storyline and by that time I'd lost complete interest in the GWF and was playing strictly bootleg feds then. Between 2112 and 2118 I have no idea what went on.

That has the Takeover stuff which I enjoyed. Then it went into the 4th and 2nd Realm stuff which I hated.

I have those years, but I lost interest in running a fed, but I'm glad to have those sets to use in my TNE at some point. I liked the move to Centra storyline, but my interest in running a fed was dead...

The GWF was in a really tough spot. When you're on Centra your top feud is usually going to be Pegasus vs. Paragon and Paragon just doesn't have it in him to get the win. That stupid finisher really fucks him over.

I agree, it seems like everyone lost interest after the Takeover story... I think that's why Tom did New Beginning in the first place, really.
It's funny you bring that up, actually,... I got a new idea for this era (I know, I know.. what can I say, CoTGADD is a terrible thing).
Started up at the hotel last night.

I'm the king of CoTGADD. I have so many feds that I've started and lost interest in. It's a wonder I've ever stuck with anything long enough to do anything.
The thing is, people lost interest because of the 2nd and 4th Realm stuff. It got a little too deep into the sci-fi and the wrestling really became secondary. I mean just look at that era. Swarm, Godsend, Tauran and Payback are probably the most popular wrestlers to come out of that era. And Godsend was because of his aCe involvement.
I know my interest really waned in that 2115-2118 area. I liked New Beginnings initially but I found Monolith to be boring and then bringing Wolf back really killed my interest.

I still think New Beginnings was done mainly to cut the roster back down to size and give new players a starting point so they didn't have 25 editions to catch up on.

I'm in that same boat with CotGADD, but my NAWC's were my longest feds I've ran ever. I'm very happy with my TNE which is a mix of everything from Classics 2074 to nearly everything in between till 2125 and some LoW wrestlers...
My all time favorite GWF era was 2090, the later in years I lost interest but the New Beginning did restart my interest but once again that interest died...

I found it really hard to get invested in guys with New Beginning. The guys I became interested in like American Guy never got that update to make them relevant. And the GWF got really top heavy to the point where if you weren't a top 4 guy on the roster you might as well just hope for the Interplanetary belt here and there.

Off topic but Interesting about American Guy. Remember this poll... filsingergames.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=cpolls&action=display&thread=4729

Ha!
No one got a new card that people were interested in. I want to see a new look Tristan in black and red so he can team full time with the Betrayer as TitanBlood.

LOL. I remember that poll taking place (Grant's Plethador banner in particular).. I didn't realize that none of the winners actually got a new card... I wonder if Tom was looking to validate what he was going to do anyway (which failed, in hindsight), or if he just didn't have any ideas for the guys picked.

American Guy was a no-brainer if you ask me. Fucking Stone Cold Steve Austin. I remember even telling Tom at Origins one year that I was looking forward to seeing Stars and Stripes break up so AG could get a push. Low and behold, U.S. Male got the push.

Yeah...me and Eek were discussing this the other night...none of the cards listed that everyone wanted received a new card....kinda like why bother?
This is why I am not that excited about LOW Online rehashes...kinda like paying for the same thing twice...kinda hard to build excitement when you already know everyone that is out ...ya know?
