I am really thinking about a reboot in the GWF. Really thinking about restarting at the shattering of Galactic Code. Last time I did a GWF Fed I got to 2091 I do believe because it was all about stats and not storylines and I really flew through the federation but don't feel like I got alot accomplished storyline wise. Was thinking about doing a real-life federation with weekly or two weekly shows with PPV's and what not. Thoughts on how you guys would like to do a reboot if you chose so today!

I think a good jumping on point or for a reboot is 2123. That's the year Iron Hand shows up and changes everything

I've started over way too many times...it's really a bad thing to do, IMO... I'm not gonna do it again unless something bad happens (like losing my stuff). I think you're better off just going forward and changing things.. either make it a story (new owner or whatever) or do it gradually.

I would do the full reboot........Start from Classics and go from there. I know it would be a long road to the current stuff, but I think it would be a fun way to do it. I always wondered how guys like Omega and Morpheus would do in the Classics era of GWF. The pre-2087 stuff always fascinated me for some reason. The Cosmos to Thantos transformation.......Star Warrior as a young buck. The Mighty Grogan in his fighting days. Characters like Vice really intrigue me as well. My old GWF records got lost in one of my moves or could have been thrown out in a basement flood we had a few years ago, so I wouldn't really have a good jumping on point to continue my old stuff anyways.

I've done the restart to death, it really is up to each person but what I've done and I truly love is forget the official time line and mix em all together. I'm doing that with my TNE WRESTLING! where I'm using wrestlers like Natural Man to in the very near future Monolith, this concept of mixing for me works and there are No Boundries holding me back...

I agree with Crimson, mixing things up is the way I would use things as well. I have never been one to care too much about the story year to year, but more about the guys.

I was up to 2105 a few years back, then got Early classics from Gordon (tafkaga) and became intrigued since Morpheus was such a major figure, but had zero wrestling history. That's the main reason. Alot of work to catch up. Probably will get online once I start 2087 since I only run 24 cards per year

yeah I steer a bit away from stories as well. I really like to make my own storylines and really stray from most story lines (I keep Krakan vs. Nexus, Thantos vs. Star Warrior) you know, the major feuds. My hardest part is writing promos for the guys. I can write the narrative and the background and what not, but the actual verbage always eludes me!

You can still get a lot of story by summarizing what a character said.

True Dustin very true. I really can see them talking in my head and perhaps that is what is best!

I know what you mean, Holland... the promos that happen in my head while I'm playing are always way better than when I try to share them.
Maybe it's something about the announcer voice, or perhaps it's just hard to get it all on paper (or computer) before it all falls out of my brain.

Tom set them up as co-founders that split, but I thought adding the business "problems" to the mix gave their feud more meaning without making one of them "bad".

The one thing that's frustrated me in EC, and it may only be my fed, is Morpheus seems to be a step behind Omega, Torin and Keller. He's won the title a couple of times, but never seems to hold on.
