Looks like the Negro teams are off to a slow start.. I surprised to see the older guys being the more modern players, i would think the stats wouldd favor newer guys.
Are you doing the standings by win loss record, or series wins and losses?

Standings are overall win/loss. I am keep track of series record and will add that maybe after this next round. Also have home/away records written down.
Round 3 will see the first series between two Negro League all-star teams. All four are at the bottom of the standings. In general it's been their pitching not slowing the HOF teams down enough, along with some bad defense.

I played the whole series already. A great seven games. Game 2
Post Americans 4, Old Timers 1Scoreless until the sixth. The Old Timers get one run off Whitey Ford. Bottom of the inning, Mickey Mantle singles in a run, George Brett triples two home and a sac fly makes it 4-1. Ford goes eight for the win, allowing four hits. Hoyt Wilhelm gets the save. Al Spalding the loser. Game 3
Post Americans 3, Old Timers 2Bottom of the second, George Davis drive in one with a triple and a single by John Ward makes it 2-0. Same score, bottom of the ninth. Tim Keefe comes out after loading the bases with one out. Rod Carew ties the game with a two-run double off John Clarkson. Nellie Fox then wins it with a base hit. Game 4
Post Americans 8, Old Timers 7Jim Palmer gave up five runs in three innings. Pud Galvin gave up four runs in five innings. In the bottom of the eighth, Mickey Mantle hit a two-run homer, and Harmon Killebrew followed with a solo shot to tie the game. In the bottom of the ninth, Brooks Robinson walked and Luis Aparicio took over and stole second. Rod Carew won the game with a single. The Post Americans now lead the series three games to one. Game 5
Old Timers 8, Post Americans 3Old Hoss Radbourn went six, giving up one run. Mickey Welch pitched three innings for the save. Nolan Ryan gave up four runs in four innings, then Hal Newhouser allowed three more in two innings. Game 6
Old Timers 4, Post Americans 1Al Spalding threw a complete game, only giving up five hits. Ted Williams's solo home run was all the scoring for the Post Americans. A three-run homer by George Davis off Whitey Ford made the score 4-0. Game 7
Old Timers 10, Post Americans 1This time it was Tim Keefe going the distance to win the series, allowing just a home run to Carl Yastrzemski. Catfish Hunter was blasted for seven runs in the first inning. Dan Brouthers hit a two-run homer and John Ward doubled two runs home. Brouthers went 4 for 5 with three doubles, a home run and four RBI. What a win for the Old Timers, down 3-1 and win the series. The Post Americans bullpen was worked hard.
