Here's my season I play every so often... it's with the computer version of APBA (Broadcast Blast). They've had some injury issues... One of the catchers and Groat, IIRC... I suspect they'll be in the hunt at some point.

Highlights:
-- The A's had a rally in the 3rd, but Russ Snyder fanned with runners on 2nd and 3rd.
-- The Tigers came back in the 4th, when Dick Williams fired a routine grounder past 1st and allowed a run to score. Frank Bolling followed with an RBI Double.
-- The A's loaded the bases in the 4th, but left Hall in to bat with 2 out and squandered the oppertunity.
-- Detroit broke the game open in the 6th with 5 straight hits.
Game stars:
N. Cash 2-3, 3 runs, RBI, Double F.Bolling 3-4, 4 RBIs, Double J. Lumpe (KC) 3-4
F.Lary CG, 5 Hits allowed 3 Ks, 2 BB

1960 was sorta before he was a star.. might be his rookie year, in fact. He was platooning in real life, though for me he starts most games

-- Both teams were on a tear offensively coming in, and had the bats quieted early on.
-- Jack Kralick showed some real gumption, striking out Mickey Mantle with 2nd and 3rd and 1 out in the 3rd, then getting Roger Maris to fly out to end the inning with no runs.
-- Art Ditmar threw a no hitter through 5 innings
--Lemon's league leading 6th Homer got the scoring going... Gil McDougald's throwing error scored the 2nd.
-- The M & M boys started the 9th with back to back singles, driving Kralick out of the game. After Mantle scored on a ground out. Bob Allison made a diving catch on a blooper to right to seal the victory.

- The Giants 1st loss!
-- Snider came in hitting .091, the Homer was just his 4th hit of the season
-- Started Jonny Podres left in the 3rd with pain in his wrist.. Larry Sherry and Ed Roebuck combine to give up just 1 run in 6 innings
-- Willie Mays cut down Jack Roseboro in the 3rd at the plate to hold the tie.
-- The Giants took the lead in the 8th with a two-out single by Orlando Cepeda, only to see Jack Sanford run out of gas and give up a two out, two run double to Frank Howard in the bottom of the inning.

Tony Curry robbed Bob Skinner of a homer, but bruised his ribs crashing into the wall and had to leave the game. Bobby Malkmus, getting the spot start, knocked in a run in the 2nd, then Johnny Callison followed in the 3rd with an RBI double for the scoring Pacho Herrera continued his hot streak, going 3 - 4

Nellie Fox missed a 2nd Homer by 6 inches in the 5th that would have tied it after Harvey Kuenn's solo shot in the 5th gave Cleveland the lead. With the bases loaded in the 6th, Marty Keough hit for started Jim Perry and sent it over the right field wall. 3-4-5 hitters for Cleveland: 10-14 3 2Bs 1 HR 7 Runs 3 RBIs
