Defintely enjoying starter minutes.. averaging 25/6/6 with 'Melo out... hopefully when he comes back they'll bench Landry Fields instead of me Not impressed with the game commentary though... it's the same every game. They don't acknowledge injuries, or trades. I just played Minnesota, and they spent the game talking about Love, who was traded to Utah. That was a wierd one... Love and Anthony Randolph to Utah (who couldn't possibly need him less) for Kanter and Haywood. Yup. On paper a great trade for Utah, but that have all PFs... and it's not working.. they're 3-18. The other (slightly more logical) trade that was made was Joe Johnson and T-Mac to Denver for Nene and Andre Miller. Again, though, with Josh Smith, why do they want Nene? Good trade for Denver, though. Couple coaches got fired, too... which is kinda neat.

I got my first triple double in My Player tonight. 14 points, 11 assists, 10 steals. 8 of my points came from the foul line.

Cool! Closest I've come is 25/8/7.
Hey, is it just me, or does the game sorta cater itself to the objectives? I had one where one of them was to not give up 5 layups. No problem, says I, the computer never drives, they mostly hoist 3s at the end of the shot clock... except, apparently, when your goal is not to give up layups.
I always shoot like shit when the goal is a shooting percentage one, too.

I get what you mean, I've had to hold guys like Steve Nash to 30% from behind the arc and barely did it, but when I play a normal game against the Suns, he can't hit shit from behind the arc.

Well, after getting drafted to the Sixers at SG I was mostly just playing key games. I got put in the strafing lineup the last half of the year. I was still having problems doing well and at the end we missed out on the playoffs. The Nuggets won the NBA title.
The second season I was starting to get the hang of things, scoring 25+ with 7-10 assists per. I'm still having problems with turnovers but still regularly get above a C+ and one game I got an A and was one play from getting an A+. Despite this, our team sucks. I figure what the hell and requested a trade. A week later, they obliged and me and Andre Inguodala have been shipped to the Bulls. Their record is sub .500 but the lineup is still intact so should have several seasons in the backcourt with D-Rose.

Its funny how the Bulls suck (for me too). It seems like the game does better with good big guys than good guards.. Cleveland is over .500 with Jamison getting like 25/10, while the Chris Paul Clips are like 8-12.
I have a terrible time with Turnovers... like 4 or 5 a game since I've been starting... drives me nuts.

The 'be a legend' is really fun.... I don't love the regular mode.. it seems like every game I play whoever has the best 3 point shooters wins, but the be a legend is fun.
Though it is befuddling to me that I can't win at home... just lost to Utah (4-21 going in) I'm 10-4 on the road and 4-7 at home.. go figure.

Geebus this is BS. Got to the finals with the Bulls. Going against GS. Curry and Ellis are impossible to contain. I'm down 3-0. Lose in spectacular fashion to get swept. Nope, that's not the BS. The game freezes as Mark Jackson is raising the trophy. Is once you can't Sim key games, I have to play the whole damn game over. I just want to get it over. And now this. I'm just going to have to foul like a mutha to limit my minutes and get it over

This game is pretty tough. I had to go to Rookie just to learn the controls. I'm having hell making plays in the paint. It's like I'm allergic to dunking. Anyway, defense feels pretty good. I just really suck at making things happen when I have the ball.

I havent played 2K12 but ive played the prior installments. In those you have to hold the turbo button down while you go at the basket otherwise they won't dunk, will do some flip shot or lay up or something.

After my loss in the finals to Golden State, in season 3 I made my first All Star game and scored 13. We made the playoffs as the four seed but lost to the Knicks and the Grizzlies won the season three NBA Title.
Went into free agency not sure what to expect. Negotiated to come back to the Bulls but they got pissed by my demands and cut their offer in half. I started looking at the other teams that were interested in me. Despite better offers, I noticed that Lebron signed with the Hornets. I took a little less than I could've got from the T'Wolves but with the Hornets it's me, Lebron, and CP3. Lebron ends his Heat run with no titles but now it's time to get it done in Charlotte.

I am a fan of Lebron never getting a NBA title, even in a video game.

The Hornets are in New Orleans and you said you signed in Charlotte which are the Bobcats. Hopefully your guy signed with the right team.
