5/23/09:
Cove Championship Wrestling (CCW), the parent company for Shark Valley Championship Wrestling, is sad to announce that due to financial hardships, Shark Valley Championship Wrestling will have to close down operations for the time being. If, in the future, it is possible for Shark Valley Championship Wrestling to be reopened, CCW will gladly do so and continue to provide the top young talent a place to showcase their skills.

****Breaking News**** Shark Valley Championship Wrestling...Dead fish shows life?Shark Valley Championship Wrestling released a brief news-release today stating that Joe Hennig was named their Wrestler of the Year. Hennig was the reining SVCW champion when CCW was forced to close the territory down due to financial issues. It seems strange that they would make this news release unless something else may follow. Could SVCW be on the verge of re-opening? CCW has made no statement and appear to be closed on the wrestling front. Time will tell, but the news-release did feature a logo of a bird with the name "The Alliance" as the watermark on the letter.

****Breaking News****
1/10/11: CCW Library sold off
Cove Championship Wrestling's video library (which includes all the Shark Valley Championship Wrestling video rights) have been sold off to a group calling themselves The Alliance. While not much is known about The Alliance, they were able to purchase the entire video library for an even $1 Million. The rights were previously held by the NIWA and the sale was not even a a blip on Jim Ross' screen.
"Who cares! A bunch of old videos that no one would ever want to see? Please, I think the money will help us even more than any old videos."
Other talks concerning CCW properties have been going on throughout the last few weeks and will continue, as the NIWA is looking to make money off of CCW.
