Well, I'm glad you're not doing the charts, Troy. Because that's generic. Trust me, there'll be a better one than that. How much more wildly inventive would a card with wrestler stats for a manager be than having a unique interference chart? If you want to look at it like that all of the wrestler cards for managers are the exact same, too: weak. All of the level 1 moves in pretty much the same place, level 2 below level 1, level 3 right under level 2, poor chart ratings at the bottom, etc. The only difference is the name of the moves.

and that's pretty much what every chart is. I just don't see why you need a chart to come up with interference for a manager (or really, even a wrestler). There's just so many ways to do it.

So, by that token if you want Hart to wrestle why not use the Mister X card and call him Jimmy Hart? There are only so many ways to make a poor wrestler card for a non-wrestler. Hart wrestled maybe a handful of times in his entire career. It's not like he had a finisher or signature moves. So just use an existing card and imagine the move names are things Hart may do.

Honestly, I don't really care whether he wrestles or not, I just don't expect anything of interest if they give him a chart.

Because, some managers were different than other's. Basic interference doesn't always work when Hart probably had more things blow up in his face than say a different manager.

I would prefer Hart with a distractor rating and wrestling stats. Then it is consistent with most manager cards and gives more options. I don't need someone to tell me what a manager did to distract a ref. I think I can figure that one out.

How many times did Hart actually wrestle though?
Heenan, Humperdink, Berry and Albano were all legit wrestlers before they became managers. Hart was never a wrestler, he's always been a manager.

I don't know how many times Hart wrestled. But looking at the stats for the other 4 you mentioned, those stats appear to reflect their time as manager who wrestled on occassion. They are far to poor to Wrestler stats.

I honestly can't see any situation where I'd want to see Hart in the ring in my fed. I'd rather have a different manager chart.
Even if the other guys cards reflect their manager days, they were still wrestlers at one point. If Hart ever actually wrestled it was against women or silly gimmick matches with other managers. I bet his match list would be less than 20 matches for his career. I'm guessing Bill Alphonso wrestled more than Hart and he didn't get a wrestler card.

He wrestled far more than 20 times in his career and still even steps into the ring now and then. He was in the legends battle royal at WrestleReunion in LA.

If I had a vote, I'd have an interference chart on the card in the set and a wrestling stat version in the promoter.

Just throwing my opinion in as well.
First, don't discredit Hart's wrestling ability! As mentioned, he is a former Southern Heavyweight Champ!!!
I like the specific charts for managers since it adds realism to the game and not just cheap interference. However, I like the stats as well because I love a manager getting his ass handed to him in a blow off feud.
The easiest way to solve this would be to have wrestling stats on the card and, like Tiger Mask's chart, have the manager interference in the booklet.
Seems that would be the best route
Now if we can only get handicap matches to run in the sim

Did Hart wrestle some in Memphis? (more than WWE, anyway) I thought he did.... Alot. Alot of handicap matches or those if Lawler wins, he gets Hart in the ring type of stuff. Hart had HEAT in this area and people literally wanted to see him dead. No shit...
