This is great and completely unexpected. I was too young to see Blassie as a wrestler but remember him well as one of the big three managers of the WWWF with Albano and The Grand Wizard. I read a few times that Blassie used this vampire type gimmick where he would file his teeth before a match.

Big time name. I'm more into rolling Blassie vs. Rikidozan but I'm sure him and Tolos will be good too.

I'd love a whole chart for Blassie. I know some of you old timers know him as a wrestler.. but he was the MAN as a manager in the golden age of Managers.
Heck, with him and Hart, maybe he shoudl add Dillon this set should be called "Legends Managers"

This is probably nothing but Blassie makes two guys in this set with connections to Andy Kauffman. I'd much rather have an actual legend in the game than him but he'd be interesting and would fit in ( Intergender Champion) with the new ladies PDF set. I'd have more use for him like than someone like Johnny Fairplay

If he's there he's there, but I have no desire at all for an Andy Kauffman card.

An actual legend? Andy F'N Kaufman is a legend in EVERY sense of the word! I'd pay the price of a full 8 card ladies set (which I did purchase btw; nice stuff) for ONE Andy card! And that, as they say, is a shoot.

I'd enjoy Andy but definitely as a LE card.

I only knew of both Blassie & Tolos first as Managers and this is a Great signing in Blassie and Tolos is a good addition too. Whether Tolos got a distractor rating or not, I'd still have him with one since he managed in the UWF too and I see him as a Faction Leader...

I was trying to think of a manager that I really liked that isnt in LOW now.....its getting pretty tough. The only one i can come up with now once LOW 11 hits is Slick. JJ Dillon is signed but no card yet. Freddie Blassie and John Tolos are definitely solid additions to LOW. Can't wait to see the next names.

Gary Hart is probably the biggest manager out there who's not signed.

Gary Hart, Percy Pringle---those are the big two for me.
As far as a manager rating on Tolos' card: I don't think it would be any higher than "5", which is the default according to the rules for ANYONE who wants to cause a distractions from ringside and doesn't have a rating on the bottom of the card, so I don't think he'd necessarily need a printed rating. If someone wants him in that role they can just imagine and fill in the details.
