Some random thoughts...
- Tom mentioned at GalactiCal that every card in the new set has the 'Black Death' symbol. That leads me to believe the LE is Euritar.
- Tom seemed to let slip that The Betrayer plays a big part in 2127. Perhaps a new card for him?
- Tom did tell me of one other exit but since it hasn't been leaked anywhere I'll keep mum. I will say that the HOW of the exit will be pretty memorable.
- American Guy, U.S. Male and Phantasy are leaving because they are tired of the Infinity Challenge. In my opinion, I am as well. I think this concept was fun for a year but unless there's an entirely new concept, I don't see how it'd could extend a year. Also if the BLACK DEATH is as bad as we're lead to believe, wouldn't they give up the Infinity Challenge in order to focus on the threat?

yeah, the IC was really nice in 2125, boring in 2126, and is supposed to go on for another year? Personally, I hope that's it. AG, USM and Phantasy are probably overdue for retirement anyways. I expect Betrayer will get a new card. Hard to say who else as Tom said they will all be connected to the new set in some way. Honestly, I expect Tristan is going to be gone especially if Betrayer is beign updated.

I loved, loved, LOVED the IC in 2125. Hated it in 2126. I kind of just hated 2126 though.

yeah, pretty much me too. It was too much a filler set to get to Black Death and I think Tom knew that hence part of the reason to release 2127 in December.

I tend to feel he went with two a year this year because the reaction to 2126 was so poor. I've been around since 2112 came out and I honestly can't remember a more poorly received edition than 2126.
It really sucked, 2125 had really gotten me back into the game. I'm not that excited for 2127 but I'm hoping it draws me in like 2125 did.

What I find the most interesting is the supernatural battle stuff seems to be considered the weakest storyline by the 'faithful', yet Black Death seems to be very similar, but the previews. Guess we'll see when it comes out.. the art sure is pretty, at least

I'm hoping Black Death is more like the aCe stuff. I don't terribly dislike the Supernatural stuff, it's just that the wrestlers involved are really weak stat wise. Hard to invest when the guys can't compete in a meaningful way.

I think I'm really gonna dig this set since it seems to be so heavily focused on the 'evil/bad guys'. Tom said at galactical that all the new cards have the 'Black Death' logo on them and that has been the case with the released art. In my opinion the good guys are currently so boring (hello, Ultimate Fighters anyone?) that this looks like a great set. It'll put the focus on the bad guys and hopefully make the good guys more interesting.

New Betrayer art is cool just looks more like somebody who belongs in G.I Joe than the GWF

I agree... sweet piece of art, but not very GWF-y. I think the Betrayer could be REALLY cool if the other identity is him without the mask, as a Titan and partner to Tristan. I can't say I can see myself playing any 'current' GWF anytime soon, but I have to say as a big Daryl Banks fan, I'm mildly tempted to get the set just for the pretty cards. Really, though, I'd like to see Werner ink Banks in a GL mini series On an unrelated note, Swarm apparently liked Grant's summary post so much he decided to stead it and post it himself. I think he owes some royalties
