I think people think this game should be called Legends of 1996-current.
Psttt, it's called Legends of Wrestling

That's what I don't get. Were they not around for the first couple of sets?

Very Cool Art for Bobby Shane and I used him in my old LWA fed Off the Ropes Wrestling where he teamed with Scott Peterson and their record was 11 wins & 2 loses I believe. I'll have to decide on how I'll use him, but it's another good addition for sure...

Had not heard of him myself. But it's another addition. Not every name is going to be Lou Thesz. Heck, I'd not heard of Don Leo Jonathan before and now I just refer to him as DLJ.

I'm thinking I'm going to have Shane challenge for the Television title as the masked Challenger and see where it goes from there.

I've heard of him but have never seen any of his matches. LOVE the art! I'm really looking forward to researching him and using him in my fed.

Finding complete matches of his is almost a lost cause at this point, though the WWE may have some stuff in their vault. Florida (where he spent most of his career) didn't keep tape of big arena matches besides the clips seen above and he wasn't much of a factor in Japan or the WWWF, which are the only other sources (besides Europe) of long '70s footage.
Still a signing that I like and a guy I had been itching to get info for for a bootleg for awhile. And the artwork is fantastic.

Too bad Hawaii doesn't have more stuff......used to watch them on Financial Network (or whatever it was exactly called)
Anyways, have some big plans for him regardless of his stats...at worst he's a Vanity, at best, he competes with Gorgeous George...either way, it's all good.
And I agree AA, that it's mindboggling about people not wanting historical guys.

Glad to hear folks are excited by Shane. I was hoping he would be well received.
And Steve's artwork is amazing!

Yet people are always asking for more vintage guys, even ones you never heard of but just a cool character type from 1886 or some timeframe so you don't have to get anyone to sign for them.

I think people think this game should be called Legends of 1996-current. Exactly. It should be Legends of 1986-1991 (WWF ONLY).

While you only play with those years, you know there are a variety of tastes out there and help get guys signed that can have a broad appeal to other fans.
