Ball State (0-1): 7 at Iowa (1-0): 48
The starters called it a day by halftime in this one as Iowa steamrolled Ball State 48-7. Ball State managed just 153 yards of offense and their only score came on a special teams return touchdown.
Albert Young carried the ball 16 times for 240 yards and 3 scores before getting pulled at halftime. Drew Tate was also 14 of 19 for 212 yards and 2 TDs in one half of work.
The Iowa defense was impressive in this one as they stuffed Ball State behind the 50 for most of the game.

Indiana won that game 20-13 in real life. I honestly couldn't figure Indiana out on offense. It also really hurt my running game that Indiana's offensive line is all rated at 0 while Central Michigan had 4's and 6's running around on the defensive line and linebacker.

Minnesota (1-0): 19 at Tulsa (0-1): 13
Minnesota was it's own worst enemy in this game as they racked up 9 penalties for 74 yards. Some big plays came back due to holding calls and it cost the team points.
Brian Cup threw for 220 yards and 1 TD. The Minnesota running backs piled on 183 yards of rushing for the day.
Hopefully Minnesota will play a more crisp game next week.
