...and honestly I have never been disappointed with any Legends release and L11 continues to add to the success of this game. The more variety of wrestlers gives us more creative possibilities . 100% spot on Dennis and wish everyone could have this outlook Plus, Ive never been disappointed because I know of the time and effort it goes into signing guys. My outlook on the game and for sure others like yourself are connoisseurs of all wrestling, but I understand not everyone thinks the same. In the end for me each card gives us the promoter a look into these wrestlers history and then fictionally add to it through the game...

I don't like every decision made, but I love every Legends set. I may not like every wrestler in there (Buff Bagwell, Konnan, Larry Zbyszko at the top of the list), but I find uses for each of them.

I agree tax; I'd have personally left Grable and Ivory off to add some "star power" to the next all women set and put Bernard, Meanie, or one of the other very cool names I've heard rumors of being signed into this edition. But it's not my decision to make and I can deal with it. For me Finlay, Saint, and Taylor (now that the cat's out of the bag) make the set worth it all by themselves. Blassie and Jimmy Hart make it incredible. Some people like one or two of those guys okay, some may not like any of them.

How many people also got the two ladies LE cards?

I think it was just part of the total package, Ty. I did not see the set alone offered. It is just the "total package" offer and the price includes the two LE cards. I'm assuming pretty much everyone who bought 11 got the ladies, unless they made a direct deal with Tom Filsinger to the contrary.

I hadn't noticed that. I always wonder are these LE cards actually given shorter print runs? Doesn't seem like it when there isn't an option to buy the set and not the LE cards.

I always thought so but as far as I know no LE card has ever gone out of print. There's a section in the online store for just LE cards. I think most of them are $ 2.00 except for Andre ($5.00), and the tag teams ($4.00) like The Samoan Island Tribe and Naptown Dragons

I'm at the point now where it's fine that if certain guys either are held off, don't make it to a Official Cardstock release but make a PDF set or the Online Special Release. I'm very happy with who we get and honestly never disliked anyone in a set, but thats just me. I know for a fact Filsinger Games from the very beginning with CotG to Legends has and will always be the Greatest Memories I have with a Game...

I dont understand why people are obessed with the idea of having the online exclusive cards available in card stock. Like Mark T said on the other board they're incentives to buy the online sets. Honestly I think most of them (especially Sunny and heel Snuka) are really nothing special

If they are just alternative guys of already existing guys, like young Curt Hennig, I don't see a big issue.
If they are new characters or a new persona of a guy, like Private Jim Nelson for Zhukov....then I'm not a fan of. The COTG/Legends community isn't a huge corporate type thing...more of a "mom and pop" type company. This, why Im not a big fan of exclusive stuff

Finally got this set in the mail today. Late because I didn't complete the preorder like I thought but it's here now and in time for Christmas so it's good. Here are a few of my initial thoughts after opening the envelope today
Best Art - Dave Taylor followed by Blassie and Hart. I think every one of the drawings is great just as good if not better than Legends 10.
Saito - Two finishers worried me a little bit but I'm guessing that this card is based more on his time in Japan as singles guy than his time in the WWF as a tag team partner with Fuji. Either one is good
Colt Cabana and Johnny Saint - Colt's card is pretty close to his Chikara card but think the Chikara card is probably a little stronger which makes sense. I think there's a bigger difference between the Legends and Chikara Johnny Saint card especially on defense. I think Saint's card mechanics are pretty interesting and again the differences between the two make sense.
Freddie Blassie and Toolos Brothers It's great to have another official tag team in legends especially ones like the Toolos Brothers who can be used as either heels or faces. I'm not sure if we have another tag team like that or not in Legends ? Blassie would have to be my favorite of this set. I grew watching him and it's great having the big three managers of the WWF along with Albano and The Grand Wizard in the game. I'm too young to remember him as a wrestler but do know a lot his career in the ring.
Finlay - Always like Finlay and think this card probably leans more toward his time in America than his days in Europe. I think making the Shillegah as an option was a good move
Joyce Grable and Tina Morreti - I'm not really a big fan of ladies wrestling but always seem to find a use for the old school ladies than the more recent ones. Moretti is probably my least favorite in the set but I'll still use her card at some point
Bobby Shane - Before his name was announced I honestly didn't know much about him other than his career was cut short in a plane crash. Since then I've researching him and can think of a million different ways to use him.
Dave Taylor - Not sure how I'm going to use him yet but have a few ideas
Jimmy Hart - Not a big fan of manager cards taking up space in a set and would have liked to see the Hart wrestling card offered one of the LE cards along with the two ladies. I understand the reasoning behind online exclusive cards so I'm not going to complain about it. Either way Jimmy Hart is a great name to have in legends
I think this set gives us a wide variety of wresters from different eras and think it's excellent overall. I also think we owe Tom and the Legends team a big thanks for another job well done
