SF, what kind of graphic were you expecting? The game (from the pictures) looks like the arcade game

SF, what kind of graphic were you expecting? The game (from the pictures) looks like the arcade game What I was expecting were graphics that actually looked like the original Wrestlefest. This doesn't look like it at all. The characters here are hand drawn, they look cartoony, almost comic book like. The ones in the new game are realistic looking. The camera perspective is different than the iPod game, and the characters all have this weird light/shadow thing on them because they're cel shaded.

This doesn't look that bad in motion, hoping it's only $0.99

It's $2.99 for the full game but there's a free trial of it too. The first DLC pack (CM Punk/Triple H/Sheamus/Big Boss Man/Shawn Michaels/Classic Survivor Series Arena) is 99 cents. They're gonna be doing DLC every 30 days, so that's cool I guess. I'll say this: if you were expecting this to play like the arcade game, well it kinda does but it's also pretty radically different. I mean, the AI will NOT stay down. It took SEVEN Hell's Gates to beat Sheamus. But for $4 (so far what I've paid for it), it's not that bad at all, I guess.

In addition today, THQ also announced WWE WrestleFest is in development for additional platforms, including Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, Android and PC, with a currently scheduled release window of calendar year 2012.
I can almost guarantee the XBOX and PSN versions won't be $2.99

Well on Andriod it could be free if they have ads on it like Angery Birds

This is THQ we're talking about. They're not going to give you a game for free (even with ads) when they're bleeding money.

I like the graphics... it's like the old one, but cell shaded. Have to see how much it is on the PS3 when it comes out... I was thinking of getting All-Stars, but this might be better

It'll probably be $14.99 like most other PSN downloadable games. I'm fine with $15 if the online play is good and you get all of the stuff from the iDevice version (see: all of the DLC coming out for the iDevice version) included without having to pay for it.
I'd still suggest looking into All Stars, WF. It's a great game.

All Star is a very different game then this. But if you are playing on your iPad/iPhone, it is hard to knock $2.99
