Got the cards today, they're tremendous. Can't wait to use them.
EDIT: Looking at it, anyone else think the LOW card is a little strong? Two finishers, 5(2) Pin and two A chart ratings...I mean, I'm as big a Danielson fan as you can get, but he seems really strong.

I think the old card was alright, maybe a little strong but I thought it fit very well with the LOTF guys. This card seems like it would flat out murder a good chunk of the LOTF guys, which I guess makes sense given that he's a World champ in the WWE, but I feel very bad for everyone in my fed who is going to have to face him.
The Chikara card looks really good, too. I'm looking forward to throwing Danielson into the mix.

Once Legends 12 is for purchase in 2012 ( December I gather ) I'll purchase the New LOW version of Bryan Danielson. I've used his first version in the past and I'm not sure when I'll use it again in my Wrestling Edge Australia fed. It seems fitting DB gets a Card update that elevates him to face Legends since I've found his Originals version has not done well versus other Legend cards...

The "world champion edition" card gives anyone who is so inclined the option to use Danielson as a legitimate main event guy. It's a strong card, but it's not super powerful. You can count on one finger the number of current WWE world champions Filsinger Games has, so I can see why it was made kind of strong. If it were me I'd have gone with the single finisher and made the move in the #5 slot an "add 1", and maybe made one or two other very minor changes, but I can see the case for it being like it is.
I tried with some success to push the old card as a main event, world title contender in late '09-early 2010. This card should do the job pretty well. All I have to do is figure out how I'll bring him back into the fold. He was a heel when he left, but I'm undecided on which way to go with him this time around.
I'll use the Chikara card in King Of Trios first, then decide if I want to use it full time or not.

I saw the stats on the world champion edition and I didn't think they were that strong. Sure, upper mid-carder and a U.S. Title contender but considering he's a world champion in the WWE he should be strong.
Fun trivia... former WWE World Champions in the game:
Buddy Rogers Ivan Koloff Iron Sheik Andre the Giant Rob Van Dam Bryan Danielson

Just played three matches with these cards. One with the LOW card, two with the Chikara card.
[LOW] Bryan Danielson def. Chris Hero after literally two moves (being sent into the ropes, and then the LaBell Lock)
[Chikara] Mike Quackenbush def. Bryan Danielson with the Chikara special. (literally the first move Quack got in, third move over all)
[Chikara] Bryan Danielson def. Claudio Castagnoli with Cattle Mutilation. Awesome match, definitely one of the better matches with the Chikara cards which is saying a lot since I rarely have a dull match with these cards.
Unrelated to Danielson, but how is the Chikara card for Colt stat-wise?

maddog, I can make a case for Buddy Rogers NOT being on that list. In fact, last night I was thinking about the topic of WWWF/WWF/WWE champions in the game and could not decide if I personally consider Rogers a former WWWF champion, no matter what the record books say. But that's a topic for another thread (probably fothcoming).
As far as the Colt Chikara card, it's the lighthearted "fun" style represented, as opposed to the Legends version. I think it's pretty good, stacks up well with the other Chikara cards, and it's got pretty much all of his signature stuff in there. The (pw) ranking still bugs me just slightly, but it's nothing I can't get over (I can agree with it far more than El Generico's agility rating, which I have bumped up by one when I use that card).
PS: Figured out exactly how I'm bringing Danielson back to CTW, and it's thanks to that big gold belt in the drawing and some Ric Flair inspiration.

Tom or Swarm said somewhere that Colt wrote his own moves for his Chikara card. Maybe someone can confirm. What are the major differences between the low card and Chikara card other than what sounds like his finisher? Where do each stack up against their competition? Sounds like Chikara Bryan can hang with Claudio. Thats good.

The finisher's exactly the same guest2, right down to the potency. The Chikara card has better pw to reflect how he stacks up against the competition. The "Superman Sequence" and "Eat Defeat" show up on the Chikara card but not legends; Cabanarama shows up on the Legends card, but not on Chikara. The basic Colt stuff like Bionic Elbow, hip attack, and moonsault shows up on both cards. The reverse crab is Chicago Crab on Legends card and Billy Goat Curse on Chikara card. The defense on the cards is of identical strength. Colt is for some reason 12 pounds heavier in Chikara than he is in Legends. I guess he's gained weight lately.

Colt's Chikara card is more reflective of the current style he wrestles as well. Lower impact, more comedy and more of a European flavor. I think he's billed as weighing more in Chikara because he's so much bigger than the rest of the roster.

He was definitely a NWA Champion but from what I remember he won the WWWF title in a fictional tournament in South America and then lost it quickly to Sammartino

He was the main cause of the WWWF splitting off after a dispute over a Thesz/Rogers match. They awarded him the title and he quickly ran into heart problems hence Sammartino beating him a few months into his reign.

See, this is why it needs its own thread. A very plausible story goes that he was given the belt for no other reason than to lose it to Bruno. He already had problems and no one ever expected him to do anything more than go in and "make" Bruno with the quick loss. SO, I say a case can be made for Bruno as the first "real" WWWF champion.
