Also, 17 Current Arenas...22 Attitude Era Arenas.
So far we know of: RAW is WAR (1997-1998) RAW is WAR (1999) Unforgiven: In Your House (1998) Survivor Series (1998)
They can realistically do every PPV from 1998, and several from 1999 and 1997 since the 1998 PPVs/two RAW arenas only equals 14. Wow, this is going to be awesome!

The last thing I was able to check out was the only creation mode that was available to us in this build, none other than the vastly improved “Create an Arena” mode. As you all can recall last year we were able to change the basically the ring and all that surrounded it last year leaving many wishing for more customization throughout the rest of the arena, well fear not WWE Games fans because THQ listened and delivered in a BIG way!
Not only is everything we loved from last year back, but they have added a TON of improvements! Starting with the stage itself, there are several pre made stages ranging from old Raw and Smackdown sets to a lot of old classic WWE pay per views, as well as some others that I think were made up just for this mode.
From there you can edit them anyway you like. Not a big fan of the lightning bolts during the Raw on Spike TV era of WWE TV, get rid of them! Want your own design on the stage or the ramp? Go for it! It’s completely up to you. It certainly looked like everything about the stage was completely customizable and I wish I would have had more time to look through it all but what I saw was extremely impressive.
It’s not just the stage you can edit either but the actual arena itself. Want your arena to be in a very small venue (like Ring of Honor) you can totally do that here. How about a HUGE outdoors stadium? Of course you can! Knock yourself out; the choice is up to you!
You even get to select what type of crowd you want in your arena, from the modern crowd of today to the Attitude era crowd from yesteryear, it’s completely up to you!
My response: Niiiiiiiiiiice

My biggest gripe so far are the Attitude Era guys having recent theme songs. Undertaker has his current theme, and Bret Hart has his theme from when he came back in 2010. Now granted, these are easy fixes...but why should I have to do that when WWE still has the rights to the accurate themes?

Some notes from a Bleacher Report interview:
- There are 3 new Comeback sequences, including one for CM Punk. - Big Bossman's night stick can be used as a weapon in AE mode. - There are over 300 new moves. - There are over 30,000 new commentary lines. - 'If you’re not facing [an opponent], but you want to throw a strike, in the past you missed too often if your character model wasn't aligned properly. This year, we allow your character to completely rotate, up to 180 degrees to land that strike.' - 'Colors of the chairs, steps and ladders were authentic to the matches from that time.' - Alternate attires that are accurate to specific match [in AE mode]. - 'We did add a lot of new moves, but the new moves are not just for the roster members.' In other words, this doesn't just include signature moves, but other popular moves or moves 'we just wanted to have in the game.' - 'There is a different reaction when smaller superstars are engaged with the super heavyweights. The animations look a little different. It’s more of a struggle for the smaller guys to lift, or easier for the smaller guy to be lifted. The impact is different when bigger or smaller guys are dropped.' - 'We had the commentators ad-lib. We showed them some of the WWE' 13 footage and they were able to free-form and ad-lib commentary to that footage. This obviously gives them that feel of being in the moment. As you can imagine, it brings authenticity as they are not just reading off a script.' - THQ have a 'very robust' DLC deal.

I Quit Match and King of the Ring tournament mode confirmed. I Quit Match: - The I Quit Match is finally making its long awaited return! The match type has been completely redesigned from top to bottom to provide players with the most authentic representation of the I Quit Match ever seen in video game form.
- In keeping with WWE programming, the I Quit Match is a 1-On-1, no holds barred, anything goes affair. Utilize anything and everything within the in-ring environment to force your opponent to say the humiliating words, "I Quit!"
- When your opponent is in a grounded state, press the pin button to summon the referee to the grounded opponent. The referee will kneel down and place a microphone in front of their face. It’s at this point that the I Quit mini-game is triggered. Stop the moving cursor within the designated target zone before the words “I Quit” fully materialize on screen to inform the referee of your desire to continue the match. If the opponent is unable to complete the mini-game in time, they’ll automatically quit the match. If a Superstar is in possession of a stored finisher icon they can use it to automatically win the mini-game and continue the match. However, doing so will result in the loss of that finisher icon.
- When an opponent is in the midst of performing the I Quit mini-game, the attacking Superstar can utilize an Intimidation taunt to increase the difficulty of the mini-game. Performing an Intimidation taunt will cause the mini-game meter to shake violently, which makes it that much harder for the defender to complete the mini-game in time. Use of Intimidation results in a loss of momentum for the attacker so think twice before using it. If the attacker doesn’t have a sufficient amount of momentum within their meter the Intimidation taunt can’t be used.
- The I Quit mini-game can also be triggered by applying a Breaking Point submission hold on an opponent. Just like grounded situations, the referee will position themselves near the trapped defender and position the microphone in front of their face. Complete the mini-game successfully to break out of the submission hold and continue the match. Failure to break out in time will result in a loss.
King of The Ring: - Create your very own King of the Ring tournament! Players can choose the number of participants (4, 8 or 16) as well as the gender of the participants involved (that right, Divas can also take part in the King of the Ring tournament).
- Players can also choose the type of match that they’d like for their tournament (Normal, Backstage Brawl, Hell in a Cell, Iron Man, Ladder, Last Man Standing, Steel Cage, Submission, Table, TLC and Extreme Rules).
- Participants in the tournament can be chosen at random or selected by the player.
- Each match in the tournament can be played or simulated.
- The King of the Ring tournament can be played solo or with a friend.
- A special coronation cut-scene is shown for the winner of the tournament.

How in the name of everything right in the world, in a game focused around the ATTITUDE ERA, do you give Shamrock a variation of the Ankle Lock that wasn't his?

This week's reveals had some interesting people, I'll post the highlights.
Daniel Bryan
John Cena 2004...erm...we mean from the rap on Rocky earlier this year.
Attitude Era Big Show. Someone explain to me both Show and Kane having period accurate themes, but not Undertaker and Bret?
