My wife and I saw this yesterday and holy fucking shit. That might have been the best summer blockbuster I've ever seen. I don't want to give anything away but if you're even slightly interested in superheroes, you have to see this movie and you have to see it in the theater.

I agree that this was by far the Best Super-Hero film of all the modern versions. I'll say the full cast delivered and Mark Ruffalo as Dr.Bruce Banner was really good and better then Eric Bana & Edward Norton's attempts. I even enjoyed how the Hulk interacted in this movie. Overall this is a film you should see in the theater...

Spectacular movie. Can't get over its awesomeness. Wish I had money to see it more than once in the theatre.

Alas, with my schedule and our daughter, finding time to see Avengers is going to be really hard. Everyone is raving about it, but sometimes life gets in the way. Oh well, glad to hear it is as good as ppl hoped.

Just noticed while looking for this thread that I have never replied to it. I wasn't all that hot on this movie the first time I saw it. I thought it was good, but not as good as some people said. Then I rewatched it today and I have to say, it's my favorite comic movie ever outside of X-Men First Class. Out of the characters in the movie, I'm only really a fan of Cap, Hulk and Hawkeye. I thought those three were fantastic, but Iron Man was maybe my favorite part of the movie besides Hulk. I'm never going to like Thor or Loki, I'm sorry. I enjoyed Hulk whipping Loki around, that might have been my favorite moment in the movie.
Some people bitched it was too heavy on CGI but what do you expect? It kind of HAS to be. But yeah, this movie ruled so much. Ruffalo as Hulk was fantastic, Renner as Hawkeye was great and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow...good lord.

You know, I saw X-Men: First Class just this weekend (on HBO while on a trip for work), and I thought it was terrible.
Very bad acting, corny plot, weird mix of characters with no chemistry.. just all around BAD. I know alot of people liked it, but I just couldn't find anything redeeming about it.

I thought X-Men 1st Class was far better then the 3 other X-Films, but I do like those others. The next 1st Class film is a Time Travel story tying the Patrick Stewert films with the 1st Class cast...

Very bad acting, corny plot, weird mix of characters with no chemistry.. just all around BAD. I didn't think the acting was bad at all. Kevin Bacon and Michael Fassbender were awesome, don't remember the name of the dude who played Professor X but he was great, too. I know alot of people liked it, but I just couldn't find anything redeeming about it. AHEM... Nothing redeeming? I thought X-Men 1st Class was far better then the 3 other X-Films, but I do like those others. I go back and forth on some days which I like more between First Class and X2: X-Men United. I hate The Last Stand. Saw that in theaters, regretted the money and wished I stayed home and watched ROH Supercard of Honor, which arrived in the mail an hour before I went to see The Last Stand. The next 1st Class film is a Time Travel story tying the Patrick Stewert films with the 1st Class cast... ' Not time travel per se. It's Days of Future Past, Kitty Pryde's gonna telepathically tell herself how bad shit gets in the future and that she needs to prevent an assassination or something to that effect and then what happens from there is pretty much unknown.
