Forever Hooligans versus The Briscoe Brothers (or Fish/O'Reilly) for the ROH tag team championship has been announced for the TV taping the day after 11th Anniversary show in Chicago. I'm looking forward to that more than them versus the Wolves, but mainly because I have tickets for the taping.

Not a whole lot on this card (which I'm assuming is near final) that I'd pay to see.

I'm buying it---just because. Taven and Cole could surprise a lot of people if they're given the time. Wolves and Hooligans should deliver. There's a new option at rohwrestling.com where you can buy the live ippv and get the dvd for an extra 9.95, so I may go that route.

Star ratings for the shit that mattered: Wolves/Hooligans: ***1/4 Taven/Cole: **** Briscoes/reDRagon: ****1/4 Steen/Lethal: **3/4

The two non-Steen title matches ruled and Wolves/FH was pretty much what you should expect from them. Everything else, meh. Was not a fan. Steen fucked up the Brainbuster pretty bad.

Oh and good on RoH for finally hiring someone with a personality in Cliff Compton.

I agree for the most part with the last two posts here. That finish in the Steen match was a great concept, but that brainbustaaah missed pretty badly. Briscoe brothers versus reDRagon was a real solid match, as was Taven versus Cole, and it IS about time Cliff Compton got a chance to be himself and show what he can do in a major company.

I never understood that with Cornette. He was using a bunch of OVW guys that didn't fit well but he was just letting Cliff Compton sit there. Stupid move on his part.
