Yeah, it always seems like the longer you build to something the more likely it is to end in DQ. They just kept going outside of the ring though so I saw it coming.

That's quite a run for Green Ant! I can imagine Black/Moxley losing was definitely not the plan, booking wise.

Yeah. That kind of burned my plans for them. 3.0 had essentially been jobbers and this was going to be the start of pushing them into contendership with the Briscoes. I can always rebuild them quickly and throw 3.0 a title shot next month.
Green Ant is going on a run but I wanted to start pushing him to the top and he's really justifying his push right now.

Also notice the RockNES Monsters haven't won a match since they came back from a hiatus. Kind of sad considering how hot they were out of the gate.

Which Green Ant card are you using? The NPWD one?

Post by maddog1981 on Jan 23, 2014 22:04:48 GMT -4
Yes, the NPWD one. I play this by Chikara rules so he gets to reroll those trios moves on the same offense. That has played a small part in his success. The big part of his success is his -1 power rating mixed with that A ropes rating. He's also had a lot of luck in this recent run. His victory over Mike Quackenbush the first time was because he countered Mike because of his power rating and then did his (ch F) and Mike rolled snake eyes on his first PIN. The gauntlet, he just rolled really well and didn't get in a huge amount of trouble. But he seems a good counter to Mike in most ways. I've been surprised by him since the start of this. He was an afterthought in the initial TV Title tournament, he won the belt and then had a good sized run with it. I moved him up the card to see what happens. Now, I think he might actually win the NXT belt down the road.
