[glow=red,2,300]DARK MATCHES[/glow] Jim Powers pinned Nikolai Volkoff following a cross body block off the top rope in 1:52.
"Superstar" Billy Graham made Dynamite Kid pass out in the SUPERSTAR BEARHUG in 4:12.
[glow=red,2,300]TV SHOW[/glow] After our opening video montage we are taken straight to the ring, where WWF President Jack Tunney is standing there with Mean Gene Okerlund. They discuss the house show that was held last night in which "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Brutus "The Barber" beefcake won the tag team titles. Mr. Tunney informs us that the former champs have invoked their re-match clause and the match will go ahead TONIGHT! He has also asked Bob Backlund and Ricky Steamboat if they wish to make their match against the Million Dollar Corporation a handicap match or find themselves a partner to replace Piper and they said they will find them a partner! So the changes to tonights card are:
Million Dollar Corporation will now face Bob Backlund, Ricky Steamboat and a Mystery Partner and New WWF Tag Team Champions Roddy Piper & Brutus Beefcake will defend against former champs The Undertaker & Jake Roberts and we still don't know who Duggan's partner will be!
Marty Jannetty came to the ring for our first match and waited then new music played and out came Shawn Michaels in new ring attire adourned in rather cool looking love hearts... he was holding a mic and informed us that from now on he was to be called The Heartbreak Kid, not only that, he had a new manager... out came Sensational Sherri!
"Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels pinned Marty Jannetty following SWEET CHIN MUSIC in 1:24. - Wow, that was quick! Shawn has a new attitude and a new determination and Marty, well didn't know what hit him. Shawn's new finishing move is what hit him, and it was all over!
After the heels come out for the next match, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan came out and introduced as to his mystery partner, "Macho Man" Randy Savage!
"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage def Crush and Ludvig Borga when Savage made Crush submit to a camel clutch in 5:44. - The face team were pretty dominant here, managing to cut the ring in half and making quick tags to keep the momentum. Once they had Crush in the ring and they didn't let him back out and his inexpereince told.
Hercules (w/ Bobby Heenan) made Big John Studd pass out in the ARGENTINE BACKBREAKER in 9:16. - Top Class brawl. THis two went toe-to-toe for the first 8 or so minutes. The tide turned when they went to the ouside and while Heenan distracted the ref, Herc nailed Studd into the ringpost, really jarring his back, it was academic after that.
WWF Intercontinental Champion The Ultimate Warrior pinned Earthquake with the WARRIOR PRESS AND SPLASH in 2:24. - Swift revenge here for Warrior. Earthquake didn't even stand a chance. In the end he ebem picked up quake for his gorilla press slam. Very Impressive.
The Million Dollar Corporation came out, and then Bob Backlund's music came on, but only Backlund and Steamboat came out. The Corporation looked antsy screaming out "who's your partner? who's your partner?" just then "when it comes crashing down and it hurts inside...." come on over the loud speaker and out came WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan! The faces then ran to the ring and we were underway!
WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan, Bob Backlund and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat def The Million Dollar Corportation (Money Inc. & Virgil) when Hogan pinned IRS following the LEG DROP OF DOOM in 8:24. - The two teams seemed evenly matched, that is until Hogan got in the ring. He was far too powerful, not giving IRS a chance at any offense and then nailing his legdrop for the victory.
The Asylum (Undertaker & Jake "The Snake" Roberts) def WWF Tag Team Champions "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake by DQ when Piper intercepted a chair thrown in by Jake and started using it on Taker in 11:00. The champs retain the title.

The Hart Foundation def The Islanders (w/ Bobby Heenan) when Neidhart pinned Haku following the ANVILIZER in 21:48. - Definately match of the year so far, if not the best match the WWF has seen so far. Classic tag team match that had the fans on the edge of their seats for over 20 minutes. In the end a big victory for the Harts.
Magnificent Muraco def "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka by DQ in 6:08. - Snuka got overzealous outside the ring and got himself DQed.
"Rowdy" Roddy Piper def Big Bossman (w/ Slick) by DQ 2:56. - Bossman wasn't really looking for a win here, once the match got settles he grabbed the nightstick and attacked Piper, when he was done, hr grabbed the mic and demanded a tag title shot for the TWin Towers, with that Piper got up, chased them off and shook his head maniacly yelling "noooooo, noooooo title shot for you boss man".
Bob Backlund made Earthquake submit to the CROSSFACE CHICKENWING in 9:08. - Backlund eventually figured out that the best way to beat Quake was to make him chase you and tire him out. Quake caught him a few times, but the strategy eventually paid off. Then, with Quake on his knees, Backlund somehow got an effective enough crossface locked in to get the win.
Andre the Giant def "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase (w/ Virgil) by Countout in 5:11. - Dibiase could not make any leeway against Andre so first chance he got he walked out on the contest. Andre tried to chase him but Virgil got in the way and took the brunt of the attack.

Owen Hart & Marty Jannetty def Los Conquistadors when Owen made Conquistador II submit to the SHARPSHOOTER in 5:20. - Owen and Marty were pretty impressive in their tv debut as a team, working well not giving the masked luchadores a chance to get into the match.
"Superfly" Jimmy Snuka pinned Islander Tama (w/ Bobby Heenan) following the SUPERFLY LEAP in 12:56. - Excellent match. No feuds, not storylines, no cheating, just back and forth action. Eventually Snuka got momentum behind the fan support and came away with the win.
Dynamite Kid pinned Haku (w/ Bobby Heenan) following a roll-up in 8:00. - Haku went for this crescent kick but Dynamite leapfrogged it, ended up behind Haku and rolled him up for a pin, catching Haku and Heenan unawares.
Tatanka pinned Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat following THE TRAIL'S END in 1:53. - WOW. Steamboat never got a chance. Tatanka jumped him from the opening bell and finished him off very quickly.
WWF Tag Team Champions "Rowdy" Roddy Piper & Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake def The Undertaker and Jake "The Snake" Roberts to retain the titles when Piper made Taker pass out in the SLEEPERHOLD in 7:48. - Andre the Giant came out to the ring pretty early in thsi match and this seemed to distract The Undertaker as there was bad blood brewing between them stemming from the draw at a house show last week. In the end when Taker went to attack Andre Andre clobbered him one and Taker fell, semi-conscious into Piper's sleeper and that was that.
