PRESS CONFERENCE NOTES:
- Word came out during the show that Caol Uno suffered an injury in training and is expected to miss his Lightweight Championship fight against Kid Yamamoto in January. Shuji Nakagawa said that with this being the case, BJ Penn will face Yamamoto with the winner facing Uno sometime in 2014.
- When asked about St. Pierre's next title fight, it was said that St. Pierre will have the option to compete in the Middleweight Grand Prix while he waits for a challenger. St. Pierre accepted the offer.
- The 2/16/14 event at the STAPLES Center has been canceled and the three announced fights have been moved to the 1/28 show in Las Vegas, which is headlined by Yamamoto vs. Penn.
- It was announced that Mauricio Rua will challenge for the Light Heavyweight Championship at the 4/1 Tokyo Dome show. Rua says he would like to face Tito Ortiz because he poses a bigger challenge than Alistair Overeem.
- Frank Mir publicly called out the winner of Fedor vs. Nogueira, but Nakagawa said Mir needed a few more wins to get considered for a title match.
- Trigg's arm was not injured by the armbar and Trigg asked to fight on the 12/31 show. He will face Matt Hughes.

POST FIGHT PRESS CONFERENCE NOTES:
- Tito Ortiz dominated Overeem a second time, bloodying the Demolition Man even worse than the previous fight although this was not stopped due to a cut. Ortiz said Overeem got his first shot because of a lucky guillotine, and that's why he got his second one. Ortiz calls himself the best fighter in the world and says he will destroy Shogun Rua at the Tokyo Dome on April 1st.
- Frank Shamrock was announced as the first challenger to Rich Franklin's Middleweight Championship. Both guys expressed respect for the other and said they were looking forward to this fight. The fight will take place just before the Middleweight Grand Prix.
- After dominating Kimbo Slice, Mark Coleman earned himself another shot at the Heavyweight Championship. He says he had the blueprint to beat Nogueira and hoped that would be his opponent but he's happy to take the belt from Fedor.
- Matt Hughes will face Diego Sanchez on 4/1 with the winner getting the next shot at Georges St. Pierre's Middleweight Championship.

POST FIGHT PRESS CONFERENCE NOTES: - Shuji Nakagawa announced that Mark Coleman had to withdraw from the Heavyweight Championship fight with Fedor due to a torn ACL suffered during training. Nakagawa also noted after Frank Mir's impressive performance tonight that he would be offered the fight if he wanted to take it, and Mir agreed saying he would love to fight Fedor.
- BJ Penn called out Georges St. Pierre at the press conference, saying GSP shouldn't get to wait nearly a year before he defends his belt and that he would face GSP tomorrow if he would agree to it. Nakagawa said that Penn has to get past Caol Uno in August and St. Pierre has to compete in the Middleweight Grand Prix before any serious consideration will be given to a Penn-St. Pierre super fight.
- Nakagawa noted that Jeremy Horn and Dean Lister would both be cut due to their poor performance tonight. When asked about the suspect judging Nakagawa said it's up to the fighters to finish fights because you never know how the judges are viewing the fight.

POST FIGHT PRESS CONFERENCE NOTES: - No immediate challenger for Tito, Shuji Nakagawa noted that Rampage needed one or two more wins to get the shot and he didn't want to put Wanderlei immediately into a rematch with Tito. Nakagawa hinted at Wanderlei/Rampage as an eliminator bout. Jackson took the opportunity to challenge Wanderlei and Wanderlei accepted. Nakagawa wouldn't make the match on the spot, however.
- Tito Ortiz issued a challenge to Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin, saying that he's dominated his division and he wants to take on the best from the other weight classes. Ortiz also mentioned a possible superfight with St. Pierre after the Middleweight Grand Prix and St. Pierre's upcoming title defense with Matt Hughes.
- Muhammad Ali showed up at the press conference and announced that he would make his HONOR debut at HONOR 18 at the Saitama Super Arena against Randy Couture.
- Mark Hunt mentioned wanting a title match against the winner of Fedor vs. Mir, but Nakagawa said he would have to think about that title situation in the morning. Nakagawa mentioned Kimbo Slice's knockout of Nogueira and Kimo's submission of Bas Rutten and said those two would likely meet on a future HONOR card.
- Matt Hughes is happy to get the rematch against GSP. Hughes says he's far more prepared to enter the ring for a second fight with St. Pierre and that he would finish GSP.
- Vitor Ribiero expressed the desire to fight on the next card and said he would enjoy being put against Tatsuya Kawajiri. Nakagawa announced the fight for the August card in Nagoya.

POST FIGHT PRESS CONFERENCE NOTES: - Silva is happy to be facing St. Pierre. Silva says he wants to prove that he's the best fighter in the world and to do that he must beat St. Pierre. Silva also discussed challenging Tito Ortiz for the Light Heavyweight Title after the Grand Prix is over.
- Shuji Nakagawa confirmed that as of tonight Fedor doesn't have an immediate challenger but did confirm that 12/31 at the Tokyo Dome would be Fedor's next defense. Nakagawa said Ken Shamrock would be a potential contender but first he has to beat Josh Barnett and possibly the winner of Hunt vs. Schilt. Nakagawa also said that Kimo would be considered if he beat Kimbo Slice. Nakagawa mentioned that if Randy Couture beats Muhammad Ali, he can elect to challenge for either the Light Heavyweight or Heavyweight titles.
When asked about Mark Coleman, Nakagawa said that Coleman's camp hasn't gotten back to him with a return date but if Coleman can return for the 12/31 Tokyo Dome show, he will face whoever the champion is.
- Jens Pulver called out the winner of Penn/Uno. He said he doesn't have a preference but he knows he can beat Penn so he'd like to do that again.
- Couture said he doesn't think Ali is prepared for their fight in September. Couture gave Ali a lot of credit as a boxer but said he's not sure if he can handle being taken down and pounded on.
- The next Light Heavyweight Title fight will be on 12/31 at the Tokyo Dome. The challenger will be either the winner of Wanderlei/Rampage or Randy Couture should Couture defeat Ali and decide to challenge Tito.

- Shuji Nakagawa was not pleased with the Kawajiri/Ribiero fight, saying that the two didn't even fight each other and that Ribiero won by doing "just a little more" and that Ribiero "did not fight like a contender tonight", stating that Kid Yamamoto would get the next shot at the Lightweight Title.
- BJ Penn announced that he would return to Welterweight for his next fight.
- Nakagawa was asked about Semmy Schilt possibly solidifying his spot as Fedor's next challenger and Nakagawa replied that Couture vs. Ali has not happened yet and we won't know until that's over if Schilt will be slotted in to face Fedor or not.
- Shogun Rua said he wants to fight Tito Ortiz again but knows he has to get a few more wins before that opportunity is given to him again.

- Silva wasn't happy about the stoppage from his corner but congratulated Rampage on his victory. When asked about who his next opponent would be, Silva said he'd like to fight Forrest Griffin and Shuji Nakagawa made the match for HONOR 20.
- Shuji Nakagawa also announced that regardless of the outcome of St. Pierre/Hughes II, that St. Pierre would challenge Frank Shamrock for the Middleweight Title on 4/18/15.
- It was announced that Ali would main event the 3/21/15 show in Nagoya in a "superfight" against Bob Sapp.

POST FIGHT PRESS CONFERENCE NOTES: - The HONOR Championship fights were changed back to five round fights on this event. Nakagawa explained the change as being necessary because title fights should be longer than normal fights.
- Tito complained about the decision, saying that he should have won the fourth and fifth rounds (Tito won the first and third) and that Rampage got lucky. Tito demanded a rematch but Nakagawa said they don't give rematches based on close decisions and that Tito would have to earn another shot at the title. Ortiz will face Forrest Griffin on 3/21 in Nagoya.
- Fedor called Couture his toughest opponent to date in HONOR and said he's looking forward to defending the title against Mark Coleman in June. Coleman was on hand to say that his recovery took much longer than expected and that he is looking forward to getting another crack at the title.
- Nakagawa said that Chael Sonnen would be facing Guy Mezger on 2/14 in a Light Heavyweight Fight. Sonnen noted that it was a one shot deal because he wants a shot at the Middleweight Title.
- Nakagawa noted that the card for Sapp vs. Ali wasn't the strongest card in HONOR history but announced several fights for the card, including a possible Lightweight Title eliminator.
- Wanderlei Silva cemented himself as Jackson's first challenger for the Light Heavyweight Championship with a brutal knockout victory over Forrest Griffin. Jackson defeated Silva on 9/9 to get the title shot tonight and Silva said he is happy to have another shot at the belt and that the second fight with Rampage would be much different than the first. Rampage disagreed and we got a pull apart brawl.

POST FIGHT PRESS CONFERENCE NOTES: - Shuji Nakagawa announced that there was something of a mini-tournament in the Lightweight Division set up by how things played out tonight. Uno will face Shinya Aoki at HONOR 24 and the winner of that potentially could face the winner of Henderson/Kawajiri at HONOR 22 next month with the winner of that fight becoming the number one contender for Kid Yamamoto's championship.
- With a win over Schilt, Nogueira mentioned that he wanted to be back in the title picture but he knows he's suffered two losses to Fedor. Nogueira will face Tank Abbott at HONOR 24 with the winner potentially getting a shot at the winner of Fedor/Coleman.
- BJ Penn's victory over Nick Diaz has put him in the position to challenge Georges St. Pierre for the Welterweight Championship later this year. Penn said that he'll dominate GSP and then teased going up to Middleweight to challenge for that title. The Penn-St. Pierre fight was hinted at for HONOR 26 at Cowboys Stadium.

When asked who his first defense would be against, St. Pierre said there are several guys in the division that would make good opponents but his focus right now is on BJ Penn.
- Nakagawa confirmed the first undercard bout for the Cowboys Stadium show being Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen with the winner getting the first shot at GSP's Middleweight Title, probably on the 12/31 Saitama Super Arena show.
- Randy Couture asked for a fight with Tito Ortiz and the fight was announced as being the main event of the 10/31 show in Las Vegas.
