I've found that the community involved in Filsingergames has not only a large amount of comic book fans but also fantasy novel fans. I often have two books going back and forth in my kindle. Almost always, one of those is a fantasy novel. I was reading Book Eight of the Wheel of Time and have come to the conclusion I don't even care if I finish the series. I don't mind a long book but at least shorten the chapters a bit. Every time I try to read a little hear and there I start to nod off wondering if the chapter will ever end.
So, what fantasy novels are you reading/would recommend.

So many things I could write!
I've been mostly reading comics and short story collections lately. The last epic fantasy I read as re-reading the Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffery. It's really a great 'gateway' series to get people into fantasy.. it's got cool dragons, a pretty accessible plot, and easy to like characters. The series gets a little weird when they suddenly find a supercomputer, but the 1st 5 or 6 are an excellent read.

No offense but the name is lame. It might be good but there are so many options to choose from. Discworld sounds awful. I got The Heroes by Joe Abercrombie. Not a series but related to his prior work which I enjoyed. I was reading Wheel of Time eighth book and then Third Kingdom by Terry Goodkind and a non-fantasy book I'd been waiting on came out and it got pushed aside. When I got back to it as much as I wanted to finish the series it puts me to sleep at times, literally: I don't think I have it in me to see if to the end.

That's the name of the series.
And that's what it is. A disc on the shoulder's of four elephants that ride on the back of the great space turtle A'Tuin.
It's a satirical series.
