Great to see Lesnar make a very strong comeback after that disastrous loss to Naoya Ogawa. Hope to see Lesnar make a nice landslide of wins and then finally meet Ogawa again and splash him to the four winds.

UWFI "FIGHTING NETWORK 2ND" Card #21 - Saitama Super Arena: [COMMENTATORS] Jim Ross, Ed 'Strangler' Lewis and William Muldoon
Single Match 1 Fall; 15 Minute Time Limit: Bryan Danielson [USA] vs. Kiyoshi Tamura [JPN] - Both men being former title contenders and wanting to get back to that #1 spot, these two held nothing back in one of the shortest, most brutal matches to date in UWFI. Danielson survived three knockdowns from Tamura, but at the end, was submitted by a heel hook from Tamura, capping off an excellent match.
Single Match 1 Fall; 15 Minute Time Limit: Danny Hodge [USA] vs. Frank Gotch [USA] - Gotch was last seen in UWFI as he was defeated by current Pro Wrestling World Champion, Josh Barnett and tonight he returned in grand fashion, putting Hodge away with an Iowa backdrop before issuing a challenge to the press afterward to find him some real competition.
Single Match 1 Fall; 20 Minute Time Limit: Steve Williams [USA] vs. Antonio Inoki [#9; JPN] - Inoki's stock continues to rise once again in UWFI, as he knocked out Steve Williams in near record time with an ENZUIGIRI.
Single Match 1 Fall; 20 Minute Time Limit: Satoru Sayama [#5; JPN] vs. Jim Londos [GRC] - Many thought that Sayama would have issues dealing with Londos in this match, but actually he had quite the easy night as he flattened Londos with three TIGER SUPLEXES to pick up the win via KO.
Single Match 1 Fall; 30 Minute Time Limit: Akira Maeda [#4; JPN] vs. Johnny Saint [ENG] - The Japanese continued their dominance tonight as Maeda tore through the World of Sport star, knocking Saint out with a CAPTURE SUPLEX in a grueling 25-minute match. Maeda insisted to the press that he deserves to be in the next championship eliminator based on his performance tonight.
Single Match 1 Fall; 30 Minute Time Limit: George Hackenschmidt [#6; RUS] vs. The Destroyer [#10; USA] - On a night of very quick finishes, Hack continued the trend by submitting the Destroyer in a quick match with the RUSSIAN BEAR HUG. Hackenschmidt got on the house microphone and issued a challenge to Frank Gotch, saying that Gotch ignored him last time but he can't run for much longer.
Single Match 1 Fall; 30 Minute Time Limit: Brock Lesnar [#7; USA] vs. Gary Albright [#8; USA] - This had all the makings of a pure hoss-fest on paper, but it wasn't meant to be as Lesnar put the 350 plus pounder away with the F-FIVE in a very short match.
SEMI FINAL - Pro Wrestling World Championship Eliminator 1 Fall; 60 Minute Time Limit: Nobuhiko Takada [#2; JPN] vs. Naoya Ogawa [#3; JPN] - Takada proved tonight that he might be the most consistent wrestler in UWFI, as he gained another fast submission victory over Ogawa via JUJIGATAME. At the post match press conference, Takada said he hoped that Lou Thesz would win tonight so he could test himself against his mentor.
MAIN EVENT - Pro Wrestling World Championship 1 Fall; 60 Minute Time Limit: Josh Barnett [CHAMPION; USA] vs. Lou Thesz [CHALLENGER; USA] - Barnett's reign of dominance came to an end tonight, as Thesz would defeat him via TKO after five knockdowns. Barnett put up a hell of a fight, downing Thesz with the CAPTURE BUSTER twice, but Thesz forced Barnett to wrestle a longer match and put him away with a GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP to finally set the stage for the Takada vs. Thesz dream match. Thesz said that he's happy to know he's facing Takada, because originally he would have faced Takada at "Fighting Spirit", but Thesz lost to Gary Albright on the card before. Thesz says that he taught Takada a lot, but he didn't teach him enough to win against Lou Thesz.
THE OFFICIAL UWFI TOP 10 RANKINGS: #10. Gary Albright #9. Antonio Inoki #8. Naoya Ogawa #7. Frank Gotch #6. Josh Barnett #5. George Hackenschmidt #4. Satoru Sayama #3. Brock Lesnar #2. Akira Maeda #1. Nobuhiko Takada [Ch] Lou Thesz
