Major upset in my fed this week. Hanson and Rowe beat reDRagon for the tag titles. Absolutely dominated them from bell to bell.

It's been my experience that War Machine is really hard to stop once they start rolling on offense. Once they get guys hurt or down it feels like they're going to win the match unless they get disqualified.

DQs are weird, especially if you follow the rules to the letter. There are situations (some out of the ring stuff for example) where you're asked to roll DQ and I completely ignore it if I don't think it fits the wrestler or the situation.
Speaking of the charts, it'd be nice to see out of the ring on the Choice chart. I read a post that it used to be the option for ch H, anyone know why that changed?

I'm thinking I'm going to have Veda Scott manage Drew Galloway and treat him like a big deal. Have her spend weeks hyping him up as the ultimate talent and then go from there.
PJ Black debuted this weekend and challenged Roderick Strong for his U.S. Championship belt. I don't think Black will win there but it's an interesting match up to me.

Speaking of the charts, it'd be nice to see out of the ring on the Choice chart. I read a post that it used to be the option for ch H, anyone know why that changed? In the original printing of COTG, the Choice Chart had "out of the ring" instead of "deathjump" for Ch G & H. I think Tom changed it so that most everyone could attempt a deathjump off a choice, since not everyone had a direct "deathjump" roll. Most people had a direct "out of the ring" roll on their cards. There were exceptions to that statement that I don't recall off the top of my head, although Thantos and maybe Bishop Hell come to mind. By the third or fourth set, Tom really had the mechanics for the game in place, so the wrestlers took the form that we see these days. I remember wrestling a match with Mike Fortune at the first GalactiCon and we got confused because I had the original chart and he had the newer version with "deathjump" replacing "out of the ring". That's where I first learned about the change. I recall in the first set, Actagon and Killer Queen had Ch G or H on Level 2 Offense. This really made them tough, regardless of what chart you used.

I've set up each of my four promotions to run Iron Man and Iron Team Tournaments over the course of the next few months as everyone heads toward WrestleMania. The winner of each tournament will go to Mania for a one-nigh four person Iron Man Tournament, ala Starrcade 1989. I'm also having any champions in the tournament defend the title every match so likely will see some title changes along the way. I used to do this in my GWF game.

Do you get some oddball champions out of that?

I did in my GWF on occasion see an unlikely champion, like Wraith winning the Galaxian title is one I can remember. I had Chaos come out of one big tournament with 3 or 4 titles so some were then vacated.

Got my Evolve set today, contemplating starting a new fed but don't know quite what I'd want to do in terms of the style of the fed.

Biff Busick beat Roderick Strong to win the U.S. Title. That's the second time Biff has upset someone for a title belt in his career for me. Strong and PJ Black were feuding for the belt up until this point so I might just turn this into a three way feud.

Biff Busick successfully defended the U.S. Title against PJ Black. Next up is probably a Triple threat defense against Strong and Black. Busick always seems to overperform for me.
