Cool angle with Mulligan, MT! I guess Graham is better than he looks, if everyone's having him have some success... I'll be happier about the win then

I'm currently running a tournament for the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight title. After Rich beat Heenan's main man, The Masked Superstar, two men in black masks came out and beat him down. Their finishing move was a slingshot into a backdrop. Maybe you can figure out who Heenan plans to add to the Heenan Family, which currently consists of TMS, Don Muraco, and Blackjack Mulligan. TNT, Rich and Atlas, will have their hands full.

Masked guys for Heenan, huh? Hmmm...the Hennigs would be a cool fit there. Maybe Rick Rude and, I don't know.. Valentine? Rude's a great guy for Heenan

Interesting.. they're doing quite well for me so far... they just successfully defending the tag titles against the New Hart Foundation (Jannetty and Condrey)... probably the Tolos' up next for them. Do they wear their funny hats over the masks?

I'm probably going to play my first big event (card #8) tonight... I decided to give Atlas a rematch against Mike Graham.. the big match is a survivor series style match with Steve Williams, Dibiase and the Hennigs against Mr. Saito, Koloff (who are a tag team), Blassie, and Randy Savage (who was going to be a face, but it didn't work)... winning team gets to pick a survivor for the next title shot.
I'm hoping the Kangaroos keep the tag titles for a while, so I can bring in/build up the Midnight Express to feud with them.
I think next I'm going to do some sort of tourney/match series to get rid of a couple guys, or maybe just re-arrange a couple tag teams that are failing.

I've been catching my NXT fed up. Cheerleader Melissa is the first NXT Womens Champion. Green Ant retained the NXT Title in a threeway elimination match against Mike Quackenbush and Jay Lethal which legit surprised me. I also finished up a really fun and quick feud with Chris Hero and Gran Akuma inside of a steel cage.

The build up in my ROH fed for Champion: Kevin Steen to face "The Forgotten Legend" Jerry Lynn has been pretty wicked. I haven't had time to run the PPV yet. But I am hoping for a lengthy and epic bout. If Jerry doesn't win then I will look at doing a rematch and then a program between the two since Jerry came in as a last minute replacement/angle. But if history continues with Steen destroying him and injuring him then I won't bring him back. Look to the next contender in line for a shot. Steen has just been a monster for me and I am loving it.

I had my May ROH PPV ELEVATION OF HONOR featuring ROH vs. Evolve Saturday night and it was incredible. Lot of low rolls but the dice don't lie and the top ROH guys took hard falls. The Bravados upset the Briscoes first time they've lost in forever and I think only 2nd or 3rd time ever.
Ending was epic. Shelton Benjamin (my ROH Champ) pinned Ricochet in the main event then Gabe Sapolsky came out w Evolve champ Johnny Gargano who had just submitted Kevin Steen and challenged Benjamin for the title! Match takes huge turn when Gabe pulls Johnny out of the way of a Shelton suicide dive and Shelton crashes and burns badly. Gargano slaps on GARGANO ESCAPE 4 times in between dragging Shelton out of the ring and throwing him shoulder first into the post. 5th GARGANO ESCAPE +2 and NEW ROH CHAMPION JOHNNY GARGANO! Gabe and Johnny escape the arena in Gabes car with the ROH Title as fans begin to riot.

Steen is just a monster for me in my ROH fed right now. I was going to end the feud between him and Jerry Lynn but it has become really awesome and heated and I am continuing it. I am still waiting for a spot to bring AJ in and I haven't found the opening yet. However Christopher Daniels is going to get some serious action the moment I get that card in my hand. The Fallen Angel will hopefully represent!

Steen lost 3 to AJ, lost to Tyler Black in final four of Honor Bowl (24 man tournament), came back to win my 30 man Rumble of Honor (March PPV) but lost to champion Shelton at Honor Mania (April PPV). Then he lost to Gargano at Elevation of Honor. Despite the cold streak, Steen is the first made man in my ROH fed. One of my favorite cards to play. The Fallen Angel will get a lot of use in my fed. I want to team him with AJ and feud them like a Divided We Fall angle.

Once I broke Micheal Elgin away from the House of Truth, my plan was to have Truth Martini seek revenge on Elgin with one lackey after another, each time Elgin destroying them sending them back where they came from. Really I just wanted to use some CHIKARA cards I haven't used yet so I came up with this storyline. It never even got off the ground. First guy Truth brings in is Vin Gerard. I figure Elgin will stomp him. Vin gets the upset. Then in the rematch, Vin Gerard wins again and wins the ROH TV Title. He's still my champ. So instead of having Elgin plow through a bunch of House of Truth grunts, he loses to the first one and can't get his belt back off Vin.
So plan B became a tag team of Vin Gerard and Matt Taven. They've been feuding with Elgin and Rhino. Lastly, I added the New All Night Express (Rhett Titus and Jay Lethal) to the House on my last card. They came out with Taven, Gerard and Strong and beat down the American Wolves, survivors of a 5 on 5 ROH vs. Evolve battle. So the Wolves vs. Gerard/Taven and the Wolves vs. Lethal/Titus will be happening on a bunch of shows this summer. I'll throw Davey vs. Roderick Strong and Eddie vs. Strong in there too.
But all that from a messed up storyline. The dice don't lie.

Yes. I love it when the dice fall as they will. Elgin has been hit or miss for me. Just as he starts to get some momentum he chokes. Drives me crazy! Was trying to build him up for a run against Steen and it came to a fizz after taking on Adam Cole. Tried a feud between the two since it only made sense what with Cole taking a legitimate win over Elgin and stopping his first big monster run towards the title. It only turned into more disaster as Elgin would lose EVERY SINGLE MATCH! So Cole went on in the rankings and I have used Elgin sparingly at best. I am hoping the dice will be kind to him the next time they start to get behind him and give him that push up the rankings before crushing him under their weight of failure. Those little dice can be oh so unforgiving at times. This is only one of many reasons I love this freaking game!

other notables of late -
I ran a big legends angle when Legends of Honor came out. I assumed Tyler Black was still Seth Rollins in the WWE, Claudio was Cesaro in the WWE, Chris Hero was still in NXT, Bryan Danielson is a WWE main eventer, Austin Aries was still in TNA (but rumored to be coming back to ROH full-time when his contract was up), AJ had just left TNA like in real life, Nigel was training for a comeback etc...I just said WWE and TNA were cool about letting these guys do some legends stuff in ROH...so ROH is heavily promoting all of this, and it's pissing my champion, Kevin Steen off royally. So he's cutting all these ant-legends promos, anti-WWE promos etc...on all these guys. He's saying how ROH wants a "WWE Entertainer" as their champion in time for Honor Mania (held in NY same weekend as Mania was) and how it's a bunch of bullshit. He became a hero to the ROH faithful while cutting scathing heel promos on all these respected legends...
so he fights Nigel in a non-title match at a big PPV and loses...same show Austin Aries takes a Railroad Spike from Jimmy Jacobs and loses. My plan was for Aries to win then have a big feud with Tyler Black. Never happened, because Aries never got by Jimmy. They ended up feuding over the course of four PPV's and Jacobs won the feud, destroying Aries eye with the spike. Now Jimmy Jacobs is a top contender for my ROH Title.
El Generico and Red Poison Delirious had the feud of the year so far, exchanging wins several times over five shows. Generico beat Delirious (Chikara card) on my last show last year, so this feud had been going on forever. It finally culminated in a mask vs. mask fight without honor match at Honor Mania. I hoped Delirious would win then I could do a Sami Zayne thing, but Generico won and Delirious was unmasked and shamed. When I bring him back I'm gonna team him w Necro vs. Steenico.
Bryan Danielson won a 2 year long feud over Mike Quackenbush that began with a minor ROH Invasion angle way back when the Briscoes were still a 2 pack. Bryan won a convincing match at Honor Mania to win it.
Steen beat Nigel in their rematch, but then lost the belt to AJ in that big 3 match series. I ran all those matches on one card and treated it like a big DVD taping called STYLES vs. STEEN. Shelton Benjamin won Honor Bowl, earning a shot at AJ at Rumble of Honor, and won the belt in a Best to 10 Falls Classic 10-8. Steen won the Rumble and faced Benjamin at Honor Mania. Benjamin won. So Steen was right, ROH got a WWE guy as their champ for the big show and he failed to take the belt from him.
