Unused Banks art? tempting. Are they 'alternate Universe' type set ups, or just cards with stats and not much story, or something else.

Unused Banks art? tempting. Are they 'alternate Universe' type set ups, or just cards with stats and not much story, or something else. Saboteur is an update on his last card, with bio of the character to this point. The text reads that Prodigy has allowed POW wrestlers to negotiate non-exclusive contracts so he can wrestle anywhere now. It's a good card. Spring Heeled Jack art is similar to the Nosfera art that was used, but it's an extreme close-up (with a "dark and creepy woods" background added in). It's just an alternate Nosfera card using the name of the legend that was the inspiration for the character and can be used instead of the current card if anyone thinks he needs an update. It's essentially a lateral move from the original card, a remix of sorts; not better or worse. As far as art goes, the Saboteur card looks far and away better than Nosfera. That's really impressive with great use of color and effects. Jack seems very bland by comparison and doesn't quite look like a finished piece.

This month cards for Leva Bates - Joker version, and unmasked Mother Superior which I didn't see art for on the website. They wanted a singles version of Leva so that's the stats I did for it. Great art as usual.

The two Shimmer cards for the August issue of Prime will fit in great with the new Shimmer Vol. 2 set.

So the August cards will be for Shimmer. The Promoter Prime team has done a real interesting job with balancing all the brands. Apparently the August cards are going to be a couple of weeks late to time them to the release of the Shimmer set, which is kind of disappointing, but I get the synergy they're going for there.

Shimmer took the "main event" spot of Promoter Prime this month as far as the what people were talking about beforehand, but I kind of like the Terminus card. I was using Solar Matter as a character that had mysteriously popped up in the wrong dimension before Future Shock even came out, so I was happy to find a nice storyline way to explain how he got there (it SEEMS like he was the unwitting guinea pig for whoever has the tech to travel people to parallel universes). Now I'm thinking Terminus may be a guy who very much is there on purpose but joins up with Solar Matter because of a grudge against the Magnus Colby of his dimension. Or maybe this is the same Terminus from the same one as the Future Shock team and that will be revealed at some point. I've got options here.

I figured they'd probably come this way and since I'm subscribed, good stuff.

Thanks again, toasterboy, for making it possible for the masses to enjoy these cards! My pleasure. They were fun to work on and it's good to see people are enjoying them. Fun to work on with the talent themselves (especially Stu). Always a pleasure to work with Werner on a project. We have another fun one on the horizon. Kris is a pro and makes cards look amazing. And a big shout out to the LOW team. Always so much fun to collaborate with those guys. Some of the nicest around.

Cool! Thanks for throwing these two cards into the mix toasterboy! Happy to! Glad folks are loving them. Stu is so excited he has a card now, was talking about it with me again last Sunday at the TV tapings. I think it came out pretty great.
